He had been sitting next to his mentor—admiring his leaver from afar. And—new apprentices! Cool! He was terrified for his ceremony…all jittery and weird.

Then he heard. Wolf’Paw- Skunk’Ridge…mentor….wait what? Skunk’Ridge would have another apprentice? Would that mean he wouldn’t get trained as well now? But—he had to be the bestest warrior! That’s okay—he would have a friend then. He could manage. He’ll make himself strong too.

He saw his mentor scanning for the new apprentice and decided to help—then he saw the outburst. For probably the first time ever, he hated a cat instantly. His face scrunched up a bit and his ears shifted back. Okay—he understood Wolf’Paws outburst, but hell could he give Skunk’Ridge a chance before going damn crazy about getting assigned as their apprentice? Like…there’s probably not a lot of three-legged cats in his clan right?

Shocked was one word to describe it.
Skunkridge was only struck with silence when his newly-assigned-second-apprentice started yelling.

In a way, she could understand why Wolfpaw was angry, he was young and and hadn’t learned much yet.
And obviously, Skunkridge wanted to help anyway he could.
ThunderClan wasn’t exactly brimming with three-legged cats, but the kid probably couldn’t wrap his head around that at his age.

So, in short, Skunkridge was extremely unsure of what to do.

Beachpaw -

Trying to avoid getting distracted by a stray uprooted grass blade, Beachpaw soaked in the meeting and felt the slightest pinch of envy. It'd be sooo long until they were a warrior. And this greenleaf felt like it was ticking by at a snail's pace, despite having just started.

The thought of training harder didn't exactly sound FUN to Beachpaw, but hearing their clanmates chant for the new apprentices and upcoming warriors ignited a desire to be the one they were cheering for.

Could she not get through ONE ceremony without something interrupting it?? Bumblestar's expression morphed into a scowl with Wolfpaw's outburst, watching as the tom ran off. Truthfully, she'd had no clue what had happened with him. So how the hell was she expected to know to reassign him? Mudhound was going after him, but he'd be getting a talk from her later, too. The concerns were valid, but that didn't mean she would have to enable the shouting.

A deep breath in and out to calm herself before she turned back to the apprentices, offering each a rare, small smile. "Treepaw, Fallingpaw. The two of you have trained long 'n hard, 'n have dedicated yourselves wholly to ThunderClan throughout your apprenticeship. I'm askin' you now to do it all over again as warriors. Do you swear to serve 'n devote yourself to ThunderClan 'n your Clanmates, until the very last breath you ever take?"

There would be no 'misunderstanding' her expectations tonight.

Dawnkit/4 moons

Dawnkit watched as Rosepaw and Ivypaw were apprenticed. Personally, she thought the tom should have gone to Raggedear, whom she had seen talking to him several times. But the leader knew best. Hecks, maybes the Thornball might even benefit from this guy. Ya never knows. But prolly not. Barely hearing the following announcements, she noted that Thunderclan had won the battle everyone was so worked up about. That's good, at leasts. We can stop harpin' over all the fighting now!

The tortoishell kit glanced back at Roseki--paw, wondering if she should go congratulate him. While Dawnkit had mixed feelings after their last conversation, she had promised to eventually be his friend. But as Bumblestar called out for two apprentices to become warriors, her attention was distracted.
