Drizzlesnow gave Dusklion a confident nod and padded over towards the camp exit. ''Pigeonpelt! Birdsnow! Come on!'' She called out. Knowing that Birdsnow was sick, she'd go a little bit easy on the former leader. The silver-and-white tabby gave Pigeonpelt a nod as she stood beside the warrior.

''Let's give Birdsnow a moment to show up,'' Drizzlesnow mewed softly to her companion. ''I know she wouldn't want to miss a hunting patrol for anything.''

[ Drizzlesnow is currently the leader of the Ragged Range Hunting Patrol. She is in charge of reporting the finished patrol back to Dusklion once the three cats return to camp, and she is responsible for her patrol mates. ]

Since her mate disappeared, Birdsnow had slightly relapsed back into her constant exhausted, malnourished state, drifting around like a ghost. Her heart was broken for her lost mate and how her world just continually crumbled around her. She lost her friends, her mate, her reputation. Her mother was back, but Pebblesplash hadn't even done so much as come over and greet her, so Bird didn't have anyone. So maybe her heart leapt with hope a little too much when Dusklion called her name. Maybe her friend had wanted to talk- they both had a lot to talk about, and Bird felt like Dusk deserved an apology for how Bird had neglected her in the final moons of her leadership. But no, it was a patrol.

Padding over to her patrolmates, with a small nod to Dusklion, Bird offered a small, tired smile to the two cats. "Ready?"

Eaglepaw jogged into camp, huffing around her package of poppies. Hopefully Duskleaf was in tow, she was so worried about reporting in late that she had kind of hurried back to camp. She placed them at Mistyshard's paws, a sheepish look on her face. "'M sorry for being late, Nightshard disappeared an' I wanted ta wait for 'em but eventually we decided to head back an--" she clamped her mouth shut, realizing she was rambling. "Sorry!"

Duskleaf made his way into camp closely behind Eaglepaw, aside from Nightshard being nowhere to be found, everything else had gone pretty well. At least they did have the herbs, that was the main thing, even it was a little later than Duskleaf would’ve liked. Placing the herbs down on the ground, he realised he'd have to explain why they were late. Then he heard Eaglepaw telling Mistyshard what had happened.

"I've no idea where Nightshard went to, but she wasn't at Haven Springs with us. Sorry about the delay, we’ve got the herbs but we spent some time waiting, that's why we're a little late." Duskleaf said. "Aside from that, I'd say everything went well."

Considering the fact that her previous patrol was far overdue seeing that she was so quickly put in another one wasn't surprising, only this time she'd actually commit to the date and hopefully the other patrol members would do the same.

She sat where all eyes could see and looked for the cats that the deputy had called. Oh! One of them was her apprentice, how fitting. She found herself looking forward to the patrol despite the danger that sat deep in the pit of her stomach.

She waited patiently, a small little smile creasing her warm features.

Oh, yay, a Windclan patrol. Pray hope That one cat wasn't waiting at the border to kill her. She approached owltalon and cormorantpaw to go.

It’d been a minute since Dunepounce last went out on a patrol that wasn’t solo - seeing as this one was just through the main territory, hopefully they wouldn’t have too much trouble. He padded over as his name was called for patrols and offered the apprentice a friendly flick of his ear. “Would’ya look at that - you got here before I did! Alright, kiddo, let’s head out.”

And with that he led the way out of camp.

Mudsmoke glanced around the clearing again but still no sight of morningmimic. Maybe she was busy? He was sure she or he would come join him on the patrol once they were done doing whatever they were doing. One thing is for sure he wasn't making the same mistake of waiting for a patrolmate again, like last time.

Casting one last glance at the warriors den hoping that morningmimic would exit it, he let out a sigh before rising to his paws and heading towards the clan exit. He could start hunting at lionsbeach by himself so long, until morningmimic shows up he'll consider this to be a solo hunting patrol.

Sedgewater Valley? The apprentice was certain that she hadn’t really gone to the WindClan border before, but she wouldn’t mind seeing it to her very own eyes when it comes to points in time. She felt a little bad being the last one to arrive for the patrol, but it was better than nothing and never bothering to take a stand to arrive at all… like some certain warriors. “We ready to head out, now? I haven’t seen the border before, so I’d personally like to have a small tour of it.”

Hollytail looked up as the two cats padded up. "Let's go." he mewed. "We don't wanna get into trouble for being late" he said, getting up and heading for the entrance, looking back to make sure the two were following him.
