She waited patiently; she had to wait patiently. Even if Sleepypaw wanted to head out and complete the patrol - and she wanted that - the assigner himself was seemingly waiting until everyone else had left. Was that usual, to wait until all patrols assigned had left before leaving yourself, even if you were on patrol too? The time it took contemplating this query and Bitternpaw's actions was enough time for everyone to leave, apparently, as the freckled healer had now joined the group. Vibrant blue eyes watched the expressions on each of their faces; Mossfreckle both accepting and wishing to be priorly informed, Bitternpaw pleased with her actions and Hillstrider... Sunny. Sleepypaw blinked in face of the two smiles shown her way, freezing for a moment. One did not smile often in her presence - if at all; that is to say, she did not know what the expected etiquette here was other than possibly smiling back? She took a second to mull over that conclusion, but felt no desire to force a smile. Instead, she gave a soft and polite nod of acknowledgement, getting up to follow after the leaving group.
Oh, a border patrol. She had been called for a border patrol… At least this gave her something to do today! She never liked to sit around, after all. If she had the time to sit around and do nothing, then she definitely had the time to get up and put her paws to work somewhere else.
If she could recall correctly, Fallenmoon was a deaf warrior, right? Her eyes scanned over her clanmates, spotting Fallenmoon near the warrior’s den and–oh, yeah Batpaw had been called to a patrol too. On her way over to fetch the warrior for their patrol, she gave Batpaw’s shoulder a gentle flick on the shoulder, but she didn’t spare him a single glance.
The dark furred molly approached Fallenmoon, pausing right in front of him. Patting the ground before him with her paw, hoping that the vibrations from the action would alert him to her presence. Assuming that she had caught his attention–or, dearly hoping–she gestured with her tail to the patrols that were forming. “Whispering Wetlands, we’re on border patrol.” Midnightpaw offered the tom a smile as she spoke, putting extra emphasis on the location and type of patrol they were set to go on, hoping the warrior could read her lips. If not, surely Deadstone could guide them.
Redrobin purred softly and wrapped her tail around Mirepaw in a comforting gesture. ''I know you are, Mirepaw. You're an amazing apprentice, and I'm sure that Lostspark and Darkfall are very, very proud of you.''
With a nod to Tuftedtusk, Redrobin led the way out of the camp and towards Saltmeadow Marsh. She glanced back a couple of times at Mirepaw, making sure that the young apprentice was able to keep up. She exchanged a look with Tuftedtusk. If Mirepaw got hurt on this patrol, then Lostspark would very much have their tails. But that was only if Dawnstar didn't get to them first. Mirepaw was the Clan Leader's granddaughter.
''Oh, forgot to introduce myself!'' The calico she-cat chuckled and gave a wave of plumed, feathery dark ginger tail. She looked back at Tuftedtusk and Mirepaw over her shoulder. ''The name's Redrobin. However, you can call me Red or Robin, if you'd like, to make things easier.'' A large, black ear twitched whilst Redrobin purred softly. ''It has a certain ring to it, too. That's why I like it.''

Finchpaw jumped out and found his patrol quickly with a purr. He knew most of his clan, even if no one knew him, he kept to himself. But he intended to get out and meet more people! That's what patrols were for, weren't they? Well, he should sign himself up more for patrols! And that's what he would do. He smiled at... who was it? His mind blanked for a moment. Ohh, right, Silk... paw. Yes, another apprentice. He blinked in the nervous apprentice's direction. "Hello!" he mewed excitedly, his little paws shuffling dirt, his tail twitching.

Honeybite growled in the back of her throat as she noticed a patrol seemed to be late in departing for their patrol. Nosey as always, she approached Silkpaw and Finchpaw. "Were the two of you not assigned to a patrol? What is the delay?"
The lilac-point looks over to the lithe warrior, and blinks. "Erm, well, you see.... Our warrior hasn't shown up, and we can't go alone."
Ugh, of course. Someone else decided they weren't going to do their job, and now she had to actually do something productive to fix someone else's mess.
Fine, whatever.
With a displeased sigh, she gestures for the apprentices to follow her. "I'll take the both of you in their stead. What was your patrol?"
Silkpaw's tail pressed to the side of his body. "Icy Heartlands, hunting."
Honeybite nods, and pads out of camp, expecting the apprentices to follow.
