Garlic Feather blinked at the call and spotted Birch Branch, he'd never really talked to them before, but they must be desperate for company if they were seeking it from some stranger. He was hasty to come over sitting nearby, stars Birch Branch must have been sitting in the quiet for a little bit, her voice sounded awful! 'Alright, care for some small talk then? To keep ya company, or whatever you need.' Garlic Feather was honestly relieved he hadn't come off as weird when he went calling to see if anyone wanted company. He saw Cobweb Paw come over, and slipped back a tad bit to give them some space, he was just here to offer company. Not stir trouble.

cobwebpaw limped across the den to the makeshift shelves of herbs, dragging her bad leg behind her. with a heavy exhale, she noted the obvious absence of poppy seeds, which she knew helped with pain.

she took a piece of moss to absorb the bleeding and some cobweb to clot the wound until it began to heal. cobwebpaw's tail lashed in annoyance, she hoped the other, able apprentices brought back herbs aplenty for her.. maybe? to use while they waited for birdsnow.. birdstar? to pronounce a new medicine cat and apprentice.

the thought that..maybe.. she wanted that role- was pushed out of her mind. focus was the key priority to keep birchbranch safe and stable until more herbs were brought. cobweb's ear flicked, a key tell of her panic, but she pushed down the fear into a ball in her stomach to address later.

actually noticing the other cat in the den this time, she nodded to garlicfeather, simultaneously acknowledging him as moral support and thanking him for moving back. using her leg was tiring enough, but attempting to heal a whole injury after being thrust into the situation? absolutely dizzying.

Cocoonwillow paddled into the Medicine cats den. she'd heard that a few cats were staying in here now... and Cocoonwillow, being the curious sort, decided to see for herself while also seeing if she could offer to do some gathering for any herbs that may be needed, whilst dropping off a fishy fox had just caught a few minutes ago... "Hello?" She meowed around the fish in her mouth.

' hello. ' cobwebpaw purred, nodding her head down in acknowledgement. the thought that maybe she could be a medicine cat wormed its way back into her head. starsdamnit, now was not the time! she removed the blood-soaked moss and replaced the cobweb onto birchbranch's wound.

dropping the fish Fox meowed "i thought i'd bring fresh kill as an offering. Your Doing Very Good Cobwebpaw! if i didn't know better i'd say i was looking at a Medicine cat right now!" Cocoonwillow purred. "i came to see if there was anything i could do for you. considering what Tansypaw, the poor dear... left behind i thought perhaps you might need someone to gather herbs or something" the petite shecat mewed with a soft smile.
