Bigbird? She was still calling her that? Dawnstar fixed the apprentice with her usual intense glare, but didn't bother correcting her on the nickname for now. There was no point in ruining the brat's warrior ceremony it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. She could tolerate the stupid name, she supposes. Huffing loudly, the dark tabby quickly carried on with the ceremony.
"Then by my power, I give you your warrior name. From this day forth you'll be known as Starrywisp, we honor your creativity and determination and welcome you as a full warrior of ShadowClan." Dawnstar swished her tail while turning her head attention to the clan.
"Starrywisp." The leader started the call and expected a response.
Dawnstar took a moment to allow the new warrior to be properly welcomed and congratulated by her clanmates. Once the cries died down, she moved on to the two young kits waiting patiently for their ceremonies.
"Pumpkinkit and Shadowkit, you've both reached the age of six moons and it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior names, you will be known as Pumpkinpaw and Shadowpaw."
"Foxstrike you will mentor Pumpkinpaw. Sweetbriar, you are training Shadaowpaw." Dawnstar told both warriors. Pausing once again to give the apprentices a chance to be congratulated.
"Now we have some reassignments. Batflight, I need you to take over Risingpaw's training. Hawkgrowl you're with Batpaw, Daisydream you have Wasppaw as your apprentice, Tallmaple you've been extra lazy you'll be training Stonepaw, Mistlewhisker you'll train Beetlepaw."
"Oh, I've also picked up an outsider, his name is Cryingelk. He'll be serving as an apprentice within the clan. Marshwolf, I'd like you to teach him everything there is to learn about ShadowClan and assess him to ensure that he's fit for warriorhood." Dawnstar commanded. Dawnstar was only giving the tom one chance, he better not screw it up.
While all the mentors and apprentice took their time meeting each other, Dawnstar drew attention to her daughter. The Clan leader's gaze picked out the she-cat sitting with her mate, Darkfall, and dealing with kits. Since Darkfall was mated to Larkfire did this mean she had to adopted him and his kits into her family? She supposed it'd be odd if she didn't consider them kin to some extent. Hmm, she didn't mind it more family members for her.
"ShadowClan!" The Queen of Mean raised her voice to ensure the attention was directed where it should be, on her. "It has been decided that Larkfire will be the new medicine cat apprentice of ShadowClan."

Cryingelk nodded with respect to Dawnstar as she said his name. There were other apprentices before him, Shadowpaw and Pumpkinpaw. 'I'll have to talk to them later.' He thought, looking around for his mentor, Marshwolf. "Marshwolf?" Cryingelk asked into the swarm of new cats. If they're as mean and aggressive as mother told me, I'll have to be tough. Dawnstar gave me a chance, I will not waste it because one cat hit or hissed at me. He waited, sitting down and nodded to anyone to passed.
As the cheering of the new warrior's name begins he winces, the headache throbbing painfully at his skull forcing a hiss from his throat. In an attempt to escape the resounding noise he makes his way toward the back of the crowd of cats to settle into an uncomfortable loaf.
A mentor reassignment? Oh. That was right. That pathetic worm-- Sagesomething or other-- had gone missing, wasn't that right? The apprentice narrows his eyes dangerously as he scans the crowd for whoever this Hawkgrowl was. Scrutinizing gaze settling upon the brown tom from across the clearing he simply scoffs, obviously not impressed. How dare that rat of a leader stick him with someone so... Lackluster. An annoyed huff leaves his nose and he stays put, attention returning to Dawnstar as she announces Larkfire's new position.
Ugh. THESE again. Brokentalon HATED them. He has never mentored before, and it's seeming like he never will. Wolftooth, on the other hand, LOVED these ceremonies! It was always exciting to know when a new cat or a new apprentice is added to Shadowclan- the more the merrier, as he always said.
Hawkgrowl sighed, shutting his eyes tight. More drama to his life, more problems. Now he had to babysit someone. Great. The huge tom heaved himself to his paws, head swinging from side to side as he searched for the cat that was to be his apprentice. Finally his eyes locked on Batpaw's, whose orange eyes seemed unimpressed as they looked him over. His fur fluffed up a little automatically, almost defensively. He wasn't used to such arrogance from smaller cats towards him, because he looked quite so intimidating. Breathing in, he walked calmly over to his new apprentice. "You're Batpaw, right?" he barked, gruff voice having an edge to it. "I'm Hawkgrowl, to be your mentor. Before we begin, I'd like to know where you left off with your previous mentor," he said, almost demanding of a response. Now, this was his first ever apprentice, but he wouldn't let this cat know it. This apprentice seemed to be the type of guy to prey on weakness.
Hiddenkit's eyes widened and fur fluffed out as the other kit approached her.
ALERT!! ALERT!! CODE CAT!! HIDDENKIT HAS BEEN APPROACHED!!
Her first reaction was to scramble up a tree and attempt to climb it, but the inexperienced kit failed miserably, sliding back down each time. Her second instinct was to hide behind the tree, which she did. After waiting a couple moments for the kit to leave, Hiddenkit poked her head out from the tree and watched to see if the she cat was still there.
*-Hawkkit-*
she/her || 2 moons || no purrks A solid grey cat with patches of brown with tabby markings
Giggling a little as the other kitten seems to be startled by her approach, Hawkkit wait a minute for them to calm a little before trotting over and sitting right next to the tiny molly, not even asking permission - why should she need permission? Her grandmamama is the big strong leader of ShadowClan!! Hawkkit should be allowed to do anything she likes!
"I'm Hawkkit!" She introduces imperiously, "Dawnleader is my grandmamamamamama so I'm suuupeeerrr important in the clan! OH!! SHHHH!! She's talking again!!" The little princess immediately tears her attention away from the other kit, instead focusing intently on Dawnstar. Starrywisp? That's an interesting name, but the clan is cheering for the new warrior so Hawkkit decides to join them. After that, there's some new apprentices and Hawk cheers for them too, though she's a little jealous it's not her being apprenticed... maybe she should speak to Dawngrandmamamamamamamamama about that. Yeah!! That's a great plan!! Bleugh, reassignments now. BOOOORRRRIIIINNGGGGG!! If you can't commit to being a mentor then don't be a mentor - simple as that!
Annnnnnnnnnddddd then!!! Larkauntie medacine apprentice?? That's so cool! But, wait... isn't she a warrior? Is she gonna be called Larkpaw now? That's silly! Regardless, Hawkkit quickly turns to the kit next to her and says "be right back!" before sprinting over to where Larkauntie is positioned. "No way! Larkauntie medicine kitty?! Yay!! I'm never ever gonna get hurt tho - oh! Maybe I can come say hi anyway! Yeah! That's a great idea!! OKBYEGOODJOB!!" The small torbie rushes out the last part before hurrying back to where the kit she was sitting with before was.
Hiddenkit yelps quietly when the other kit walks right up to her, so she shoves her head into the ground. CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP After some time, the air around her seems to be lighter, so she pokes her head out. The kit is gone. Hiddenkit recovers her breath, slowly sitting back up.
THEN THE KIT STARTS RUNNING RIGHT BACK!!! Hiddenkit shrieks and starts running away, running in circles until she trips on a pebble and falls onto the ground. Knowing she wouldn't have enough time to escape, she plays dead, laying completely still, though kind of enjoying herself for once...
