Oh good! There were lots of helpful paws in the clearing this afternoon! A sigh of relief has her entire frame relaxing and she eyes the three that have gathered around her. If another was to be joining, it'd be smart to send two and two, right? More efficient that way. This wasn't a formal patrol but it was urgent-- these cats had to be fast.

"Thank you all for offering... Sootpelt appreciates it too, I'm sure. Alright, so... Moonsun and Moonfoot. Could you two find me some burnet leaves? They're these spikey oval leaves... If you can't find 'em, look for the red flowers that grow on the plant. I just need the leaves but the flowers make it easier to find. Cherryswirl, if you could find me some burdock root once your partner makes their way over... Not sure if I've sent you for it before but um... It has a really strong scent and really dark leaves. The stem is super tall and usually hase a spikey ball on the end... What's it called... Uhm... A thistle, I think... I just need the roots." Finally done explaining, she turns to the entire group and bows her head respectfully. "As much as you guys can get. Please. And as quickly as you can get it."

"Hi miss pricklestep!" Charredkit meowed politely. He had a tendency to call those older than him either 'miss', 'mister' or 'mx.' before using their actual name. It was his way of being polite.

Hmph... It was always so bright outside, it hurt his eyes but he was sure everyone thought the same thing. Doing an awkward little waddle into the clearing, the scruffy white tom glanced around. Where was everyone? They were probably doing... Uh... Patrols. Yeah, the big cats had to work. Which was lame but, he guessed not everyone could play around all day. So, that meant he had to be allll alone. Accepting this, he turned to the fresh-kill pile and pulled out a small fish. Gripping the creatures tail he pulled it to the nearest puddle and paused. Hmmm, fishes were supposed to be in the water not in a pile. Silly big cats, he'd have to tell them about this revelation when they got home. Patting the slimy thing on the side, he nodded solemnly " It's o-okay fishes... I'll release you back home." with that, he pushed the prey into the puddle and awaited for it to splash around. " you're free of your land prison Mr.Fishes, go play now." When the fish didn't move he gave a quizzical look. "Do you not like water, fishes? You shouldn't be so ungrateful... I'm setting you free." sticking out his pinkish paw, he poked it again. Wow, this fishes was stubborn. Maybe it only liked the river? Picky thing... He couldn't get to the river so this puddle would have to do. Maybe a warrior would help him put the fish back home... Glancing around at the thought, Maggotkit whimpered a bit before looking back at his new friend. Poor mister fishes...

''They're not moving because they're what we eat, Maggotkit,'' She purred. Beedapple didn't dare tell the kit they were dead. ''They know we eat them, so they don't move and give themselves to us.'' Her copper eyes glittered.

Blinking at the warriors appearance, he looked at her for a moment then back down. Huh... Her explanation didn't make that much sense. Why would fishes do that? Whimpering a little bit, he drew a paw over the fish once more. " B-but.... Why would Mr.Fishes do that?" he squeaked. " I bet it hurts... A-and what about his family? They'd be s-s-s-sad if we ate him." How would he feel of someone ate his dad? He wouldn't like that at all... Not one bit, hmph! So why would he put some other poor kid in that position. Poor baby fishes...

" I don't w-w-want to eat Mr.Fishes. It's not nice to eat someone when they're asleep. " Sticking out his lower lip in a pouting face, he stomped a single little paw: or at least he tried to. "Please let him go Appledapple lady.. Please." looking up at her with wide pale, blue eyes, Maggotkit attempted to lightly bat at her tail. The big cat had to let Mr.Fishes go! She just had to!
