Cougarbite nodded in approval. "Nice landing. Because I saw you do that so cleanly, I think we can start working on the ambush attack from trees." He told her.

"I dont want us to start off at such a high place though. So you see that dead tree trunk over there? I want you to go stand on it and we'll practice jumping into the technique off of there first, to make sure your form is good before you try it from a real tree branch." he instructed

Sweetpaw nodded at Cougarbite then proceeded to run up to the dead tree trunk and jumped onto it. The feline the looked at her mentor to await his instructions before she did anything.

"Perfect, now, even though this is a small jump, we're imagining its from a high distance, so what you need to do is brace your muscles really tight for impact, and unsheathe your claws. You'll be landing on an enemy and they'll be moving so you need to grab onto them. And if you miss you don't want to break a leg landing badly, so thats why we brace. Then all you have to do is jump, but with a target in mind. Right now it'll be this log. Its big enough for you to land on and grab onto, and it'll also move." Cougarbite instructed. "You can go for it whenever you're ready." He said.
