Beastpaw's Assessment
This again. Why the leader kept recommending him to hold assessments he'd never understand. It's not like he minded, but the point was she's just assumed that he'd do them without actually asking. Grumpily, Batglare padded out of the warriors' den and made his way over to the apprentice den. Funnily enough, it was another one of Twilightstar's kits that she wanted him to take out. He'd have to be more vigilant this time around.
"Beastpaw, get up it's time for your assessment." The giant warrior growled at the opening of the apprentice den. The brown and white warrior headed straight for the entrance of the camp and waited there for the apprentice to join him. Honestly, Beastpaw was well beyond the age of an apprentice. He should have shed such a rank long ago. Batglare hadn't a clue why he hadn't been made a warrior sooner. It wasn't his business to care so long as he was striving towards warriorhood now.
"Your task is simple." Batglare meowed, glancing in the direction of the apprentice as he spoke. "Go hunt a rabbit, bring it back to camp, and don't let me steal it from you." The senior warrior leans down into a stretch and rolls his broad shoulders, eager to get this started. "If you don't have any questions, move." Batglare would have to keep a close eye on the sky while holding this assessment. The prairie had a lack of hills to hide behind or by, and those birds of prey were always flying overhead somewhere.
