From the recesses of the apprentice's den, a black and white, feather-tailed molly scrambled upright in her nest, jade hues widening with recognition at the call reverberating through camp. "BIGBIRD!" She squealed happily, expression one of pure jubilation. Eyes bright with excitement, the messy apprentice scampered out of her nest with bed-ridden fur, all of which was sticking out in whatever directions it pleased. Knotting and tangling, too.

Grinning widely as she left the darkness of the apprentice's den, the getting-taller-by-the-day apprentice launched herself at the first familiar cat she saw -- unfortunately, that cat was Dogpaw. In other, more Starrypaw-terms, Pip. "PIP, HI! HI HI HI HI!!! What are we doing? What are you doing? Ouchie!" She flinched at the sight of his face, but not because it was terrifying to look at; moreso because every time Starrypaw saw, she wondered how much pain he went through on a daily basis. Tentatively reaching out a paw in an attempt to place it gently on the side of his not-hurt-face, Starrypaw pouted sadly at her adoptive-older-brother-but-not.

"Hurt?" The molly asked, eyes crinkling at the corners. "I wish you weren't hurted." And then, after blinking a couple times, Starrypaw lowered her voice a tad. "I wish I wasn't a kit when you were hurted. Next time I can protect you!" This cheered her up considerably, and Starrypaw straightened, beaming. She even puffed out her chest and fluffed up her feathers fur for good measure, trying to look as intimidating as possible. 'Couse, with her idiotic grin, tangled mess of fur, and entirely ridiculous stance, she was probably fooling no one. "One day I'm gonna be taller than you, just you watch." Starrypaw proclaimed, emerald hues picking out her mentor in the crowd of cats for a brief moment. Aha! Sir Bits was here! She debated waving to him, and put up her paw to do so before turning back to Dogpaw.

The enforcer commander rose, stretching her still sore shoulder before padding out to where Dawnstar had just called for the clan. The limp was fun at first but she was growing rather bored of it now and would prefer to have her normal bouncy gait back. She stayed on her paws as she lingered along the outskirt of the gathering cats. There were very few kits it seemed and plenty of apprentices and warriors making themselves seen. It was an interesting change, seemed all of the recently upheavals had done something after all to motivate some of the recent warriors to get their lazy behinds moving. She decided to linger for any places she may be needed.

A game? The gray and white she-kit's head cocked as she moved her way out of the nursery. She jumped and scrambled out to the other cats. Gran...Miss Ivy likes to play games, the she-kit wasn't completely sure what game it was exactly but Cougarivy seemed to have fun with it so she was sure she games were a fun thing. She looked around, recognizing a few of the faces from the nursery. And of course she recognized Miss Star and there was Miss Ivy. And then she also recognized the black and white tom that had shown up. What was his name? It was something like that one kit she'd met, Woofy, but he wasn't a kit, no no no. He was a...he was a paw. Woofypaw? Woofpaw? Bark...? She huffed out a little sigh. Names were such weird things and she couldn't get the hang of any of them. What did it matter anyway, what somebody called somebody else? But in the end she decided not to go up to the WoofBarkypaw who she saw with her Papa Elmshadow sometimes. Instead she sidled up closer to a random warrior who was waiting in front of her and watched Miss Star for what this game was going to be.

Midnightkit came toddling along at Dawnstar's call. Big, green eyes peered up at Shadowclan's leader, curiosity lighting a spark within her own gaze. A game, huh? If Dawnstar wanted to play.. Then this must be a really good game, then!

Nighthound padded over at the sound of Dawnstar's voice, his eyes immediately seeking out his kits. Ah, this would be a fun event. He sat down, leaving space for his children to sit by him if they so wished. Why not take part in helping?

Following closely behind Midnightkit—so close, in fact, that he had to stop a couple times lest he trip over her paws—he stumbled to a halt as they reached the others and plopped down beside his littermate. His intent gaze rested on Dawnstar's paws. They were so big, like Nighthound's! A purr rumbled quietly inside him at this revelation. Maybe he would come play this game with them and Dawnstar!

Oh—as Morningkit glanced around the clearing, he spotted the big ol' pelt of Nighthound! The little ginger tabby hopped to his paws and weaved around Midnightkit to make his way over. "Papa, are you gonna play with us?" he asked, staring up at the huge Enforcer.

The kit had tumbled out of the collective nest him and his sibling shared, due to the stampede of kits that went scuttling out of the nursery. It seemed as though there was something happening...to go out and see what it was. Or to go back to sleep. After all this was his sleepy time, he had to grow big and strong, he was a mossboy after all.

After a few moments of contemplating the charcoal tabby rolled further out of the nest, picked himself up, and made his way outside to see what the commotion was. Almost immediately he spotted his dad, and his littermates. So, the puffball did what any rational kit would do to their father the moment they saw them. He waddled up, and sat directly in between (or as inbetween as he could get) his fathers paws. Sticking his tongue out at Morningkit with a smile. "Nightfather I demand attention." he chirped, looking straight up.

He looked like a cottonball dipped in soot. His fur was a mess, moss clumps and leaves sticking out of it. Who knew how many were tangled in his fur.
