Indigo
Just as they reared back and prepared another strike, ears flat against their head, Indigo's eyes caught movement in their peripheral; familiar ginger fur streaking through the air. That was him! Green eyes wide they watched as the tom wrestled with the fox, aiming slashes and blows more precise than they could ever hope to. Terror seized their body then, rendering them unable to assist. By the time the fog cleared, the fox was already making its escape, leaving both of them huffing and puffing and fur fluffed up.
Swallowing the lump in her throat, Indigo finally let her gaze fall from the retreating russet fur to the tom who had now saved her twice. "I-I..." she started to speak, before realizing that her throat had gone practically dry. Another steady breath in and she forced her fur to lie flat against her back, doing what she could to regain her composure. "I was looking for RiverClan, actually. When I was last here, I...I had meant to join your Clan. But I ran because... I don't know why. I'm back though, and... I don't want to do that again." Okay breathe, Indy, breathe... Now was no time for a panic attack... "I want to join." There. Steady as... well, as steady as could be. It certainly could've been done more gracefully, but Indy had never been all that graceful.
Petuniafire and Heronflight
*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀ ❁❀ Both Females[she/her] - Missing
Hearing pawsteps Petuniafire pressed against Heronflight. She looked up to see Gingerfrost. She moved forward as he asked a question. Where were they? "We were captured by two-legs. Well I was. Heronflight saw me get taken and went to rescue me. Instead though there was another two-leg who grabbed her. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for the both of us to get captured.", meowed Petuniafire, her voice a little shaky. If she hadn't of been taken her and her mother would still be in Riverclan.
Heronflight glanced at Gingerfrost and listened to her daughter. "We would of escaped moons ago, but these two-legs weren't very friendly. They had us in these silver things that blocked every way. They even made sure it was hard to bust out of them. I know I should've got help, but I thought I could just rescue her real quick and come back.", she meowed. The now older she-cat felt a bit shaky and sat down. Her age was really getting to her. "An outsider came and rescued us. We just escaped an hour or two ago.", Heronflight finished.
On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
Fox hung on the breeze, and Gingerfrost was on the hunt. Normally for prey, but the moment that dreadful scent hung in the nearby air, he was out looking for the creature. Not to mention, the closer her got, the scent began mixing with that of an outsider. And sure enough, it was one he recognised. With a ferocious slash to its muzzle - one he hadn't previously expected from Indigo - the injured fox was distracted. Three for Three, he'd chase this one away or kill it like he did with those dogs. With a loud hiss, Gingerfrost jumped from his hiding place to the fox's face with outstretched paws, landing square on its face where he bit down between the eyes. As a natural reaction, it began shaking it's head, but Gingerfrost slithered down to latch around its throat and began biting.
Blood began dripping into his mouth and he winced as he felt a pair of caws glide across his back, biting down harder to cope. With another hiss (and not wanting a third trip to Stonepaw this week) he clambered from the fox's throat back to its head, claws ripping across its fur until it began to give in, heading back out the territory. Gingerfrost jumped off, spitting crimson to the ground, watching the fox leave with a guarded air; he didn't turn back towards Indigo until he was certain the fox wouldn't come back.
"What are you doing back here?"
"Kittypets hardly know of the clans, chasing it past the border or a talking too could have been enough."
The tabby flicked his tail, brows knitting together, as he had been doing a lot lately. A lot of warriors were getting lost chasing one thing or another away -- did they not know their surroundings enough? It was getting worrisome. "And you should have spoken to someone before returning to camp. You know that, no?"
[ Placing this after the hunting patrol for the sake of timelines <3 ]
Gingerfrost sigh. "Your daughter is alright,"
He replied first of all, before pausing. "You can't be getting lost in your own territory, Swiftsplash. I'll allow you back, but if you need aid in training Blueberrypaw, ask for it."
[ All done! ]
They fought each other? Gingerfrost's brows knit, mildly taken aback by this sudden revelation. It explained the injuries, somewhat, still it was cause for worry. "How did this happen? Who started this?"
What was a surprised turned to a stern expression, looking between Pebblefur and Snowfall before his eyes fell on Hollytail. "What is your involvement in this?"
Snowfall
Snowfall looked back at Gingerfrost. "This was my fault . .I started it . . this rivalry between me and Pebblefur started when we were kits . . "
Hollytail
Hollytail also looked at Ginerfrost. "My involvement in this . . was to stop these two from fighting . . . they would've eventually killed themselves . . "
Swiftsplash nodded. "I...also saw a Shadowclan warrior...at the border...and I was told that my son has died.....I..I was wondering if I may go to his burial spot? It's not in any territory...it's by the twoleg nests and...I really want to see him." she whispered
Gingerfrost hesitated -- leave right after rejoining? It didn't quite sound like a good idea, and the thought sit well with him. She should have done this before returning, and what even was a ShadowClan warrior doing so close to their border? How did they recognise her? "How did a ShadowClanner know about your son?"

This oddly similar to when they first met. Even the way he attacked the fox, he knew, was similar but also a preference of his -- the face was almost always a weak spot. He huffed and puffed as the adrenaline wore off. His spiked fur fell once again flat against his back, and he turned to look at the familiar feline: Indigo. His question hung in the air for a moment before they replied, Gingerfrost's ears lifted to hear the shaky yet determined response. And her words surprised him. It was true, last time they had left, without so much of a word (at least to him; if they'd spoken to Pikestar or not he did not know). But now they were back, and looking to join again? Not that they ever officially joined last time, but he somewhat they would considering the held they were to RiverClan. That ended up not happening.
He couldn't say was opposed to Indigo's joining; even now, he wouldn't turn her away due to the previous help and courage she'd portrayed when defending Blizzardwind from the fox -- it seemed as though she had a right head of her shoulders. But remained uncertain, due to the fear he could see in her eyes when faced with danger. He couldn't help but wonder: was she made for clan life? "...Are you sure?"
He paused for a few moments, letting his quiet question, spoken with some thought, sink in before moving on into his explanation. "Clan life is hard. Many of us don't live past twenty moons. Death and violence are a constant threat; you'll have to fight and work hard. ...But we are a family. Are you certain you want this?"

Twolegs. Again. And those silver things sounded akin to the traps Snowleap warned them about. Gingerfrost grimaced, less than pleased with this news. He was somewhat familiar with twolegs' ability to catch felines, and even the silver things sounded somewhat familiar -- he may have come across it during his time in the twoleg place, and knew how hard it was to get out off. Inside that monster belly... It must've been the same thing, albeit a different colour. Gingerfrost shook his head, feeling tired and exasperated. This was, if anything, the second time someone got captured trying to save another. "I won't blame you for the twolegs, but you have to be more careful when they're near."
He spoke to both warriors, turning towards a drained looking Heronflight. "The same goes for rescues -- this happens too often to take care of alone, Heronflight. Ask for help next time."

This was ridiculous. A rivalry? What were they, kits? "You understand that this is unacceptable. What's up with this rivalry? You don't fight your clanmate over kitten issues. Did you just attack her? Would you actually have killed one another? Hollytail shouldn't have had to step in if both of you actually had your heads on straight. Tell me, why should either of you even be let back into RiverClan, if you behave no better than kits?"

Swiftsplash's stance became defensive. "It...he...he's seen me before on the border and gatherings and stuff." she meowed with narrowed eyes. "Plus my son was in Shadowclan of course they would have known about him." she meowed and looked to the side.

Indigo
Truth be told, Indigo wasn't sure. They weren't really sure of anything since having been dropped off - except for the fact that there were two they could trust, that had shown them kindness when they hadn't needed to. Death and violence weren't something they were blind too; faint memories of life before having been scooped up by twolegs were painted in the darkest red, though they hadn't determined exactly what it meant. But they had made it through all of that somehow, and now here they stood with a chance to start over. A fresh, new beginning.
"I'll be honest, I've never been much of a fighter. But I do work hard. I can learn I'm sure. And... well, I would do whatever was asked of me." That, she was sure of. A flicker of determination flashed through, and doing her best Indigo managed to stop the slight quivering of her paws. Was she nervous? Yes. Anxious beyond all belief? Yes. But this was the fresh start she had been unknowingly looking for, for quite some time. A family was never really something she'd had, but always something she'd coveted.
Silverstone sighs softly. "I understand, Gingerfrost" The cat mews. "I should have watched my surroundings and found someone before walking back to camp... That's the best I can even say at this point" They chuckle slightly but it's not a happy chuckle.
(Btw, I'm grounded so I probably won't be online for a few weeks or months lol)

Petuniafire and Heronflight
*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀❁❀*⋆*❀ ❁❀ Both Females[she/her] - Missing
Petuniafire felt embarrassed, but didn't show it, since it was kind of her fault for not paying attention. Two-legs were weird and cruel. There was no way she'd go near a single one ever again if she had a say in it. She looked to Heronflight then back at Gingerfrost. "I'll make sure it'll never happen again.", she meowed and she meant every word she spoke.
"And I'll make sure to let others know before going to save a clanmate.", added Heronflight. She tried not to look her daughter in the eye. Hopefully she didn't take it the wrong way. he wasn't just a clanmate. Petuniafire was her daughter, but next time even though there wouldn't be a next time she'd ask for help.
On a really good stride on here and Barleypaw is really close to getting her post counts finished for her training. If there is anyone who needs a cat to help with anything feel free to VM or pm. I want her to be more active along her clanmates.
Shellpaw returned from her hunt, "I think I went missing" she padded over to the prey pile and dropped her mice, rabbits and voles she caught.

Snowfall
Snowfall kept staring down at her paws. "I don't expect to be let back into RiverClan . . I know I made a mistake . . I- " Snowfall looked up at Gingerfrost, sadness in her eyes. "I'm sorry . . we were acting like kits . . If you want me to leave . . I'll leave RiverClan . . "
