Sun flinched at the cat who seemed to appear from the air and touched noses with him, soon he let it go and assumed it was a clan thing. "I promise to try to understand all that you teach me!" He said, lowering his head in respect

Nightpaw blinked. Whaaaat. This is happening now!?! Nightpaw slowly stood up and steps forward. She looks for someone particular, Specklepaw.. Where Is Her Brother. Did He not finish his training? Nightpaw's tail dropped. Was that why His Name Was Not Called. She Cant Yet. Not- now...
The She-cat shakes a bit, She doesnt know how to feel about this.
A forever queen... The last forever queen he could recall was moons ago, his adoptive mother. She'd been a kit hoarder, Lilycreek might not be much different in that aspect - he could see them getting along, had she still been alive. But she wasn't. And now Lilycreek was becoming a forever queen. ..At least all those orphaned kits would get a mother they can look up to, now, instead of being left to their own devices. That was good, it was. Following that announcement came reassignments, once again more than he'd like. More and more mentors went missing or simply slacked on their apprentice's training, and yet they strangely couldn't all be picked out (speaking of which, he needed to rattle Falconpaw about her training). At least on the brighter side, they were getting some new warriors. That was good news, and about time.

Being with Fawnlight as the world felt like it was utter chaos around them never felt so peaceful in a weird way. He couldn’t help but want to protect her and shield her from all the terrible, merciless things in the universe that threatened to harm her. Not because Cloudpaw would ever claim that she needed protecting, even when she was like this, but because he never wanted to see her distraught like this. It was like the sun itself had burnt itself out, and he would've gone to the ends of the cosmos to relight it. She peered up at him with her pretty blue-hued eyes, as he assured her again and again that he'd never leave her side. He would be a foolish tomcat to ever lie and tell the dappled molly everything was going to be alright. He wouldn't even be like the rest of RiverClan, and tell her to 'get well soon'. It was fake, it was stupid, it held no real weight behind it. Cloudpaw refused to stoop that low. What he could do though, was promise to be with her through the fires of hell and back.
Mere moments passed between them before she would turn and bury her face into his shoulder, seeking comfort and calm in his embrace. He rested his chin on top of her head and wrapped his large paws around Fawnlight, hiding her away from the cold, cold world for as long as he could in his thick curly fur. The black-and-white tomcat could feel her shake and cry against him, but not once did he move, nor did his deep feelings for her change. There was nothing in this life, nor any life they'd live afterwards, that would drive her away from him. If she ran, he would run after her. If she hid, he could search for her. If she cried, he would hold her. And if she felt alone, he'd never stop being right by her side. He'd move mountains, swim oceans, run miles upon miles for her if she'd only ask. Stars, what Cloudpaw wouldn't do for his Fawnlight.
Time didn't exist for him, and it would continue to pass him by as he stayed there silently with her. All anger he had felt faded away into just adoration for this beautiful girl that he wished could be his for all of eternity. Such moments as these never lasted long enough though, and Fawnlight would pull away, appearing calmer and directing her attention elsewhere. Cloudpaw stayed put, returning his paws to the ground, as he watched her beckon a little kitten over, named Magpie according to the brown-furred she-cat beside him. Not knowing really what to do, the curly white-and-black apprentice simply observed as the young cat came over, being welcomed into RiverClan as Ospreykit, amongst two other cats that he didn't really pay enough attention to. More news came and went. Lilycreek was the clan's forever queen now, Firelight was in charge of Fawnlight's training, and two kits were made apprentices. Reassignments were done, and then it was time for warrior ceremonies.
Upon hearing his name, Cloudpaw's short torn ears perked up. Huh? He was being made a warrior at this meeting? Along with Silverpaw, and Nightpaw it seemed. He shouldn't be surprised really, since he had done all that he needed to do to become one in RiverClan. Truthfully, it had just... become the last thing on his mind, which was unlike him. He swallowed the lump in his throat and turned to look at Fawnlight, wishing there were so many things he could say to her in this very moment. But that was for another time, perhaps sooner than he believed. He leaned forward and touched his nose to her cheek, before standing up and placing himself where he was called to at the base of the Streamstone. He'd glance back at the crowd behind him, the faces of his mother, Moonfrost, and his close companion, Otterfluff, were not present, though he did see Blizzardwind there, smiling proudly. Cloudpaw dipped his head to his mentor and had come to terms with the fact that even though things weren't perfect, he was content with his life, happy enough that Fawnlight was here to witness him becoming a warrior. That was enough for him, after all this hard work to get to this moment. He rose his gaze up to Pikestar, awaiting his ceremony to be begin and be given his name.
