Default Re: Berries in the Breeze [P]

As Berrypaw shared her own experiences with the dark warrior, Snowybreeze had to cover up a snort with a well timed cough, bringing his paw to his muzzle as he wiped his nose in an excuse to cover up the ill hidden grin of amusement on his face. Batglare certainly did know how to leave an impression on unsuspecting apprentices, although he was sure the senior warrior meant well. After all, he'd helped him during his assessment! Even when he had clearly been blissfully unaware of what was going on. And his anger at Berrypaw had extended towards Peachfrost, no doubt his anger being a grumpy reflection of his concern that WindClan's apprentices were not receiving proper training.

"Well..." the young warrior mewed softly. "Look on the bright side. At least you didn't bring back the stench of quarter moon old crowfood with you back to camp. And you got to finish your patrol and learned how to do it!" Looking around again, the tom lowered his broad head once more, lowering his voice to another - albeit amused this time - whisper, using his paw to cover his mouth, ensuring only Berrypaw could hear him. "I think Batglare might be more of a softy than he cares to admit."

At this ridiculous notion - Batglare's unamused, monotone glare coming directly to his mind - Snowybreeze purred again, this time unable to cover up his laughter in time. He was certain the senior warrior would not appreciate being called a softy, but Snowybreeze maintained his stance on the large tom being far more caring than he let on. As Berrypaw continued talking, Snowybreeze attempted to retain a more serious countenance, nodding sagely at her gratitude, her giggling and high spirits making this all the more difficult due to their contagiousness. At her declaration, he quickly puffed up in exaggerated pride, his fur fluffing up and almost doubling his already large size, only to quickly deflate at her final words, a bout of bashfulness making him timidly pass one massive paw over his ear. Feeling a small flutter of butterflies rage about his stomach, he turned a shy smile towards her as his whiskers twitched with self awareness.

"W-well then," he mewed, placing his paw back down on the ground."It would not be Berrycool of me to leave the coolest of berries down. I'll sniff down the best knickknacks of any knickknack patrol in clan history!" A content blink accompanying these words, the large warrior nudged his friend affectionately, lowering himself to a crouch so he could bump his shoulder to her own. With a flick of his tail, he headed forward to Juniper's Rest, his mind having fully forgotten the discomfort he'd previously felt at the mention of the place. In true Berrypaw fashion, she'd calmed his insecurities and turned them into a fun day, a trip he was honestly looking forward to. He could only hope the apprentice would enjoy the rest of her day as much as he was enjoying himself in her company now.

// Oh? Are eyes now full on playing tricks on everyone?

I was going to have him fail the first assessment, I am not even going to lie... but then the idea of him passing without even realizing was so hilarious the longer the roleplay went. He even wondered about when his assessment was going to be in the meeting he had his warrior ceremony. That was a me fault because I had no idea yet he was so close to done with the assessment, but it worked so well! \\

Berrypaw
Post Count: 104/100

"Quarter moon old crowfood?" Berrypaw inquired, repeating his words back to him and fixing him with a inquisitive look. When had that happened? Or was it just an example? Shrugging her rounded shoulders, as Berrypaw didn't really need an answer to that question, the apprentice's almond-shaped eyes widened right on cue at Snowybreeze's suggestion that Batglare was a softy. It didn't make much sense to her right then, but imagining the grumpy, older tom with a soft side made her giggle. Maybe he liked kits? Or little trinkets like her? Or maybe he liked flower? A vision of herself presenting Batglare with a flower crown came to mind, and Berrypaw's grin only seemed to grow wider with amusement, evident mirth gleaming in her blue and green eyes.

'It would not be Berrycool of me to leave the coolest of berries down.'

That sentence, emitted from her taller companion, caught the spotted molly completely by surprise, but it was safe to say that she was nothing short of pleased. It was an absolute delight, knowing that Snowybreeze thought of her in such a way, especially when she herself held him in such high standards. Returning Snowybreeze's shy smile as he crouched to bump shoulders with her, Berrypaw herself couldn't figure out the extra leap her heart took. She feared that if she got anymore too happy, her heart would burst from the overload.

Beaming as she began moving once more, walking (more like skipping) alongside her closest friend residing in WindClan, the speckled molly let herself be led towards their destination, only glancing at Snowybreeze once they were halfway there. She hadn't noticed where they were going until now, and pausing for a few moments, the she-cat collected her thoughts. "You know, we don't have to specifically go to any fixed landmarks. Just roaming around would do too." She didn't want to pressurize Snowybreeze into thinking that specific places would make her happy. "I'm not joking, I'd even be happy to be stuck in a ditch, as long as you're there with me." She blinked, and then realized a big flaw in that sentence. "...That doesn't mean I actually want to be trapped in a ditch."

[ @Alchemist Kitsune - Snowybreeze | Apologies if some of this sounds remotely depressing. And sad Snowy is very sad makes me many sad - I think my grammar is failing at at this point, should go to sleep. Said the word sad too many tiems :heartoounce: ]

At the repeat of his words, Snowybreeze purred in amusement once more, unable to help himself. He was surprised Peachfrost hadn't mentioned the foul stench he had inadvertently brought along with him after stepping on a putrid pile of what had once been crowfood. The scent had been burned in his nostrils for almost a whole moon, and the taste after he'd been kindly but insistently reminded to wash the star forsaken scent off before heading towards the apprentice's den had killed his appetite for almost as long. Then again, if Peachfrost preferred to forget the horrendous experience after his first border patrol, he would certainly not blame her. He wouldn't mind forgetting the sight and feel of his very damp paw covered in that mess.

A shudder escaped the tom at the memory, his fur standing on end momentarily as a very vivid, squishy feeling encompassed his paw momentarily. As much as he wouldn't necessarily mind telling the story, unless his friend pried, he would spare her the details surrounding that little misadventure for another day. Instead the patched tom focused on the path ahead. He was a cat on a mission, currently led onwards purely by the glee he felt at seeing the skip on Berrypaw's step. In fact, despite his determination to keep to his promise and find plenty of pretty trinkets for his dear friend, he couldn't help but be distracted by her presence, a fluttering of butterflies making itself known whenever their eyes crossed, if only for a moment.

It wasn't until the speckled molly spoke that Snowybreeze realized how direct his route had been so far, a path he was used to taking by this point to cut though the bulk of WindClan territory instead of a more scenic route to fully investigate every nook and cranny they could find in their quest for knickknacks. With an embarrassed twitch of his brown ear, the massive tom stopped on his tracks, turning an apologetic look towards his companion. He really needed to remember that he didn't only come out of the camp now for training. Moments like these were to be cherished and have a good time, not to find what they were looking for and head straight back to camp! Why, it almost appeared like he was trying to rush Berrypaw along, and that would simply not do!

"Sorry," Snowybreeze mewed softly in an earnest voice. "I think I'm still stuck in apprentice schedule. You're right, though. Let's take it easier." Taking a good whiff of the area with his nose, he could smell stale rabbit scent, and he remembered an older, unused rabbit burrow close by. While not a worthwhile location if they had been hunting, it might prove perfect for knickknacks and misplaced treasures!

Turning a much cheerier look on his friend, he flicked his tail in the direction of the older burrows before speaking. "There's an old warren over there. There might be some newer feathers from birds flying by or stopping for a rest and a meal. I promise only small ditches between here and there. You would only be stuck with me for a little while," he purred in amusement, his eyes sparkling with mischief as he stuck his tongue out timidly at the apprentice besides him.

@Kat

// Oh it's okay! He would have been fine. He'd probably have been mortified but then redoubled his training to actually pass the next assessment, just so Deadmoon wouldn't die from disappointment when she came back. He tended to not get things right the first time for the most part in training. His nerves did wonders for that.

Oh no. Angst at 1AM does not sound like a good combination.

Also, in case the crowfood incident is something that interests you, this was the post where it happened. There was a prompt for really, really bad crowfood being in the area and Snowy was still six moons old, so his clumsiness was still his best attribute. \\

Berrpaw
Post Count: 105/100

Heterochromatic eyes watched as Snowybreeze slowed down at her words, throwing an apologetic look in her direction. She opened her mouth now, to say something more in case he thought she was being bossy, but Snowybreeze beat her to speaking, and Berrypaw merely listened as he spoke. A warm, genuine smile pasted itself onto the pale she-cat's face at his apology, and then consent to her suggestion.

"You don't need to say sorry." She murmured gently, hopefully in an assuring manner, gaze searching his for a few moments. Berrypaw didn't know what she was looking for. Whether it be confirmation that he was really looking forward to this outing so far, or if she was trying to make sure Snowybreeze didn't regret asking her out here in the first place, Berrypaw didn't know. She just dearly hoped that her former denmate was as happy as she was. Truly, Berrypaw was so glad that he'd taken time out of his obviously busy day just to offer her some sort of outing. The fact that they were here, doing something she liked, proved it.

But with that hint of joy and satisfaction came overbearing guilt. Was she being selfish? Did Snowybreeze think that doing something that only she liked would make her happy? For StarClan's sake, Berrypaw didn't even have the faintest clue as to what her stark-white friend liked to do.

'Oh no.'

Dainty paws faltered for a few moments, and Berrypaw cast a subtle glance in her companion's direction. He was speaking again, saying something about warrens and feathers. But to Berrypaw, all she heard was how Snowybreeze was pointing out more ways to spend the day how she would like to. Was she a terrible friend? For not thinking to ask sooner what Snowybreeze would prefer. Pursing her lip with worry, the shorter-than-average, fluffy apprentice set out in the direction her friend had pointed. "You know," She began meekly, plumed tail swishing behind her as she reached the place Snowybreeze had pointed out. "I... Well-" Rounded ears flicked with hesitation, and Berrypaw sat down to toy with a pebble under her paw. "Am-I-a-horrible-friend?" She blurted, almond-shaped eyes fixated with evidently intense interest on an ant on the ground.

[ @Alchemist Kitsune - Snowybreeze | Ack, I can't believe how long it's been since I've responded :,) So sorry for that, got caught up with other things. I had not seen that before Poor Snowy ]

You don't need to say sorry.

Snowybreeze had almost instantly apologized once more at these words, realizing he had broken Berry Law! He fretted momentarily, wondering if his friend had gotten angry at him, only reassured by her gentle voice and demeanor. Realizing nothing had been wrong - or at least hoping so - the tom had continued with their walk, the silence amiable and comfortable until he had spoken again, brought up the warren and its potential treasures. He'd been sure that would make the apprentice happy, and it would provide a pit stop to just relax and look around for pretty trinkets dragged and stuck to the warren field by the wind. It was a foolproof, fun having plan! And yet...

Am-I-a-horrible-friend?

Not having realized Berrypaw had stayed a few steps behind as his own mind wandered, he'd been brought out of his reverie by the small voice behind him. Turning around slowly, his head tilting in query at her hesitation, confusion clear on his features as she played with a pebble beneath her paw, it wasn't until she blurted out the quick, condemning question that his eyes flew wide and he flinched, almost as if lashed at by the very words.

Had... had he been such a horrible host in this little expedition that he had made his dearest friend feel the need to ask such a question? Sweet, kind, caring, thoughtful Berrypaw... asking if she was a horrible friend?! A small whimper hitched at Snowybreeze's throat, his whiskers trembling with anxiety. Why? Why had she asked that? What had he done to merit such a question? Surely he must have hinted at something dreadful for her to think she was anything other than the best friend a cat could ever ask for?

Her eyes still on the ground, Snowypaw's ear twitched nervously, unsure of how to even answer such a thing. Anything he could say to reassure her sounded so small and meaningless to someone who had such fears. True, he could tell her how much she meant to him - except he couldn't, for he was no wordsmith - but would she even believe him, or would she think he was trying to fill her with empty words that were meaningless in the end? Paws kneaded at the ground nervously for a few moments, his mind exploding with thoughts at an alarmingly hasty speed as he kept his gaze trained on the speckled molly before him, his mouth opening and closing as he desperately tried to find anything he could say that would mean something to his friend.

A few moments passed as he realized that despite the surety that he had to say something - mere silence not quite cutting it this time - he had always been better with actions over words. Deciding to let his paws guide him while his mind caught on with some words he might share, he padded towards Berrypaw, towering over her momentarily before lowering his head and giving her a small, gentle swipe between the ears with his tongue before placing his head against hers, trying to get the molly to gaze at him before he was forced to speak in earnest, the words finally reaching him as he looked at her downcast eyes. "You are the brightest star in the lives of all you touch. A cat can't ask for a better friend. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise," he mewed, his voice soft yet sober for a moment as he defended his best friend from herself. A gentle smile crossed his features as he stared down at her, separating his head from hers before adding, "Not even yourself."

His own gaze turning hesitant after this, he sat down momentarily, giving Berrypaw an appraising, apologetic look, tilting his head in his usual fashion as he did so. He did not like seeing his friend this way, and he'd hated her asking such a thing, as it meant she must have thought of herself as a horrible friend to begin with. This said, try as much as he could, he didn't understand what he'd said or done to merit such vile thoughts coursing his dearest friend. Had it been because he had broken Berry Law? Had his rushed behavior had the negative implications he'd feared they'd have?

Once more the thought to apologize crossed his mind, only for him to chide it away. If he apologized now, anything he'd just said would be forgotten by her, no doubt instantly feeling guilty at having even it even brought up. Snowybreeze did not want that. He wanted her to never feel that way again, but not for her to feel as though if she couldn't bring it up if she ever did. A guilty churning in his stomach none the less at the doubt clawing in the back of his mind over what could have caused this, he decided to make up for it during this outing. He had no doubt ruined it by this point... but perhaps there was still time to fix it? There had to be, right? So help him StarClan, he would turn this around and make it the best outing for Berrypaw yet!

// Oh no, no worries! It's all good. It may or may not have been the greatest thing I have subjected a character to. It wasn't inherently evil, but the thought alone made me shudder. Also, I may or may not need to hug Berrypaw. \\

Berrypaw
Post Count: 106/100

Perhaps Berrypaw's best course of action shouldn't have been holding her breath as she waited for a reply. But hold her breath she did, heart thumping painfully against her chest as she willed her mind not to panic. Not to panic that she'd been such a fool to overlook this major option before. That Snowybreeze truly didn't enjoy her company and only put up with her because of what an amazing cat he was. For the life of her, Berrypaw couldn't remember even one instance where she'd asked for Snowybreeze's opinion. For what he liked. It made her feel so guilty she wanted to tear up. Sure, she'd thought that Snowybreeze didn't want to be pushed into talking about himself, that maybe he'd trust her enough to tell her one day, but had that assumption been worth the risk?

Fighting the urge to swipe the imaginary tears that really felt like they existed from her eyes, the spotted molly pressed her pawpads together, the jagged rock trapped inbetween. And her eyes hadn't failed to notice Snowybreeze's very visible flinch, as if she'd physically harmed him. But no, this was worse. At least then she'd be able to take him to someone so they could patch his wounds. Maybe Peachfrost would do it, since she'd been a medicine cat before, right? But Snowybreeze wasn't physically hurt, she had hurt him internally, and Berrypaw didn't have a clue as to how to right her wrong.

So concentrated and tensed was she that the speckled damsel's thoughts came to a screeching halt as she felt a comforting lick on the top of her head. Her panicked gaze shot up, locking with Snowybreeze's blue hues. For a few moments the apprentice stayed frozen in place, startled at how close he was. And startled, by the strange leap her heart took when he pressed her forehead against her own.

'You are the brightest star in the lives of all you touch. A cat can't ask for a better friend. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise. Not even yourself.'

Berrypaw couldn't help the burning sensation behind her eyes, couldn't help the tears of shame that spilled down her cheeks. She was ashamed, of being so vulnurable, of expecting so little of her former denmate when Snowybreeze was truly the best friend anyone could ask for. She was wholeheatedly ashamed at the way she was acting, of how she couldn't help but cry. It made her feel weak, maybe even pathetic. But at the same time Berrypaw was unable to ignore how her heart seemed to swell with happiness, with gratitude, and so, so much more. That same tingly sensation enveloped her as she wiped away at very real tears this time, that same sensation that'd made her feel weirdly quesy when Peachfrost had asked her to describe Snowybreeze during their hunting lesson.

"You're so nice to me." Berrypaw whispered, voice wobbling for a moment. "You know you're my best friend right?" She asked, gaze once again returning to the ground. "A-After Tawnypaw disappeared, and my mom died, and then- And then Skyleaf, my adoptive mom disappeared, I thought no one else w-would want to be my friend." The confession felt like a nightmare, and a distant part of Berrypaw's mind wondered if she was dreaming. Maybe she was, maybe she wasn't. But now that she'd voiced one of her fears out loud, now that it was in the open, her chest felt lighter, as if some amount of burden had been lifted off her shoulders.

Oh no.

Snowybreeze's eyes widened with horror as he saw the tears welling up in Berrypaw's heterochromatic orbs, his heart beat increasing as he began to feel the beginnings of a very real panic attack. Had he messed up again? Perhaps he had been too overly familiar? Yes, that was surely it! How dare he tell Berrypaw what she is allowed to say or not say about herself?! True, he had been trying to defend her and let her know how much he cherished her, but he'd done so in such an arrogant fashion! How could he even begin to apologize for this? Surely if anyone was a horrible friend, it was him!

Almost lost in his own thoughts, Snowybreeze's ears perked up as he barely made out Berrypaw's whisper, a bewildered look quickly substituting his panic. How could he be nice, when he had made her feel like a horrible friend and made her cry? Feeling his ears and face flushing at her compliment, the young warrior chalked the reaction up to embarrassment at having the speckled molly attempt to paint him in such a noble light when he was obviously being nothing more than a terrible friend. But of course, he should expect no less from his clanmate. She would always put others first in her thoughts, no matter how much her heart was aching.

Her confession continuing, Snowybreeze's confusion slowly melted away as he felt his own heart hurting at his friend's suffering. She had been through so much these past few moons, and he hadn't thought of asking. True, he never asked... he always thought it best to let others tell him what they willed, wishing not to offend any by prying into things that they perhaps preferred keeping to themselves. But... maybe he should have made an exception? Even as he thought this, he quickly turned the idea away, knowing full well he would never try to coax information from any denmate against their will, no matter how eager he was to help them.

Ears perking up with a determined look on his face, Snowybreeze got up and padded close to the smaller cat before sitting on his two hind legs and wrapping his tail and forepaws around her, shielding her from the cold wind around them. "I didn't know..." he whispered in earnest, wanting more than anything to apologize for not having been there, for not paying enough attention, and for not prying enough. Maybe not that last part so much, but stars above he should have known... right? She had just declared him her best friend. A best friend would have known, wouldn't they?

With all that had happened, Snowybreeze couldn't help but feel a bit foolish. He'd thought this outing such a nice idea. A fun romp around WindClan's moors while searching for trinkets to fit in Berrypaw's inevitable new nest. It seemed like a such a small, careless thing now. What he needed was to comfort her, and let her know that she was wrong. Loath as he was to disagree with his dearest friend, the massive tom had to draw a line here and let her know she was worrying for naught!

"I don't think there could ever be a cat that met you and didn't love you," the patched warrior mewed gently, softening his grip on his friend so she could leave once she felt better... or she'd had enough of him. "Just ask any of our clanmates! They would tell you the mere thought of not having you in their lives was... unberryable?"

Seriously? Time and place, you mouse-brain!

A groan escaped the tom before he could help himself, and a massive paw flew straight to his face as he covered it in shame. Why had he not volunteered for clan politics and etiquette? Surely with his impeccably timed words and eloquent speech he would win the hearts of all! Of all the ways to cheer up his friend, he was pretty sure bad puns and jokes was not the way to go about it! Well, at least this way Berrypaw was still on time! She could realize that maybe a smarter, wiser, more charismatic cat - might as well just name everyone in WindClan, to be honest - would be a better pick for best friend status.

Berrypaw
Post Count: 110/100

Berrypaw was quite surprised as suddenly, her whole world was enflunged in warmth. When she made sense of the embrace, the spotted molly's shoulders slumped with palpable relief, and her paws went up on their own accord, wrapping themselves around Snowybreeze. She felt like a teary-eyed idiot, so happy over a simple, heartwarming hug. But it had been so long since someone had taken time to offer her support, to offer her some sort of comfort, that Berrypaw could do was murmur a 'thank you' into her friend's fur. She'd needed this. Whether it was letting loose those bottled up emotions or finally being able to share her burdens and fears with another, the black and cream feline was infinately appreciative of Snowybreeze.

When Snowybreeze told her he hadn't known, she shook her head and leaned back to look up at him. "You couldn't have known." The apprentice whispered, slightly releasing her hold on the tom, in case she was accidentally holding on too tight. "Really. I'm just glad you're here, willing to spend time with me even though misfortune seems to follow me around."

Her ears drooped for a moment, until Berrypaw heard what her Clanmate went on to say. "Thank you, Snowybreeze, really." The she-cat hesitated a second, expression distant.

"I've ruined our outing, haven't I?" She asked softly, expression wholly worried for a few moments, until Berrypaw could not help a watery smile from spreading over her face at his statement. For a few moments she remained there in that bubble of warmth, unmoving, and then the apprentice suddenly pivoted, reaching down to pick up the jagged rock she'd previously been toying with. Offering Snowybreeze a hesitant, lopsided smile, Berrypaw lifted the dull grey item for him to see. "I think I've found my first trinket of the day. I wouldn't even have noticed it before any of this." She told him truthfully.

[ @Alchemist Kitsune - Snowybreeze | Nope, I definitely mentioned whoever that was, and then scrambled to fix it like 4 times because the mention wouldn't delete. Also, whoopsy daisy, I was not at all planning on the roleplay turning out this way. So sorry about that :,) ]

Kind, reassuring words were all Snowybreeze heard as he tried to comfort his friend, realizing once again that despite her pain, she was being her usual generous, giving self, placing the needs of others before her own. Unwilling to make her worry more by disagreeing with her, the pale tom turned bright blue eyes down at Berrypaw, offering a small, encouraging smile of his own. Her expression growing distant, Snowybreeze wondered if he had once again done the wrong thing, having his thoughts interrupted before they could begin straying too far.

I've ruined our outing, haven't I?

Snowybreeze shook his head violently at this, desperate to convince her that she had not. This had all been his fault, really. He had offered his best friend a fun outing, and had ruined it by not being mindful, and not paying enough attention to her. So selfishly wrapped up in his own heartbreak at Deadmoon's disappearance that he hadn't even stopped to consider that something was hurting the speckled molly as well. He had wondered about her first request, to go to Juniper's Rest, but not questioned her about it.

Foolishness really, now that he thought about it. It should have been his first clue as to her state of mind, but he'd conceded and decided to not pry. As his mind mulled over this oversight, he felt Berrypaw shift in his forelimbs. Curiously, the tom looked down as he broke from his reverie in time to see the apprentice look up at him, holding a jagged rock up for him to see. The massive warrior's whiskers twitched with slight confusion until he heard her speak, his gaze softening on the jagged rock she held, his stomach knotting over with a free storm of butterflies at her smile.

Funny how that worked. How sometimes it took things making an odd turn, a sad event, or perhaps a spark of sudden joy for one to notice little things, to realize something that was potentially irrelevant suddenly held a most important meaning. "And only the first of many to find," the young tom mewed in a gentle voice before getting up, unwrapping his paws from around his friend - and instantly feeling a confusing sense of regret - standing tall as he flicked his tail towards the burrows. They weren't done, not today. They would find many a pretty treasure for Berrypaw, he was certain. But none as beautiful as the hesitant, lopsided smile that jagged rock had found for him.

// Oh no! That's okay! If I am honest, planning roleplays never works out very well for me, because characters tend to do what they please. If you want though, we can cut it here? We can decide later if they found nothing more or if Snowybreeze accidentally falls into an old burrow and comes out covered in cardinal feathers. Also, not going to lie, Snowy might be catching feels and is fully unaware of it. \\

Berrypaw

Mismatched eyes trained on Snowybreeze as she awaited a reply (perhaps she was being foolish, holding out a rock to him as if it meant something? of course, it meant a great deal to her now, but it was possible Snowybreeze thought her silly for it?), the small speckled molly barely let her smile waver, chest tight with apprehenshion. Snowybreeze was such a great friend to her, she didn't want him to think he wasn't appreciated, or that he'd made friends with an absolute idiot. Was that what Berrypaw was? An absolute idiot?

Her brow crinkled slightly at the thoughts plaguing her mind. If she was an idiot, someone would have mentioned it by now, right? Berrypaw really really hoped she wasn't a burden on WindClan. But recalling her companion's kind words, remembering his assurance that she was no weight on the shoulders of those around her, the black and cream damsel found that she had no reason to worry. No reason at all, when Snowybreeze was sitting beside her, and when he was the best friend anyone could ask for.

The retraction of paws that'd been wrapped around her snapped Berrypaw back into reality, causing the molly to blink in surprise, and shudder, which Berrypaw tried to convince herself was because of the cold wind seeping into her fur. "The first of many to find." She repeated softly, rising to her own paws as well.

Funnily enough, Berrypaw had only a while before joked about being stuck in a ditch with Snowybreeze, and now that she'd been pulled out of an emotional one by the help of her friend, her heart couldn't help but soar with happiness. Following after her friend's pawsteps, Berrypaw couldn't help but add one last sentence; "I'm glad I'm not unberryable."

[ @Alchemist Kitsune - Snowybreeze | I've been meaning to put an ending post here for like.. 4 and a half-ish days now, eep. But, well, I will very shamelessly blame the Xbox my dad bought. It's very addicting, whoops. Also if what I have planned works, once Berrypaw realizes, she will probably be very aware of her crush and end up turning into a semi-nervous wreck around Snowy. But to be honest, I'm just letting Berrypaw's character carry her own posts - Little apprentice isn't letting me plan her future and set it in stone smh, so yeah, her reaction might end up turning totally different somehow. ]
