The grey and white kit kept her eyes held on this mossy kit, an eyebrow cocked inquisitively. As he conceded that she could be the third mossiest, she held the stare for a heartbeat longer then relaxed with a bright smile, sitting down with her tail flicking behind her. ”Super top secret Mossyclub, got it!” She stopped for a moment, her smile fading a bit before she questioned, ”What’s a secret?” She couldn’t tell anybody, that much she got. Maybe that’s what a secret was? But then why’s Mossy say it both? She shrugged and turned to look at Clokit as the kit asked another question that hadn’t even occurred to her to wonder, what was a Mossyclub and what’d they do?

She wasn’t left to wonder long as their conversation was interrupted by Miss Star. The kit turned her face up to where the massive leader was sitting on her perch. ”Did she…?” Miss Star called her name! Her face brightened into a proud smile but her attention turned momentarily to the friend she’d just been talking to. It looked like Clokit was called too! She turned back to him and meowed, ”We’re being called by Miss Star! It’s so cool, right? This’ll be good! C’mon! We can go up together!” She looked to Mossy too, wondering if he’d also been called up. Eh, he’d come up with them too if he was, they were all a club now after all, right? She turned but stopped again as a lick was planted on top of her head. She spun, seeing MooMoo’s familiar stocky shape. She smiled and purred, a bright smile on her face even as she tossed a playful sheathed paw through the air in the apprentice’s direction before she turned back toward the Shadowledge and ran through the other larger cats to stop beneath Miss Star, deaf to her announcements after her name had been called up, waiting for what would come next for her part.

Face a stony mask, the dark tom watched Dawnstar as the leader called up a rather large group of kits, not missing the now recognizable name defaulted to his granddaughter. His green eyes switched out toward the nursery, quickly picking out Sunsetthorn’s kit among a couple other kits. The thought crossed his mind to send her off as usually a queen would do for their kits but before he could rise he noticed her elder brother Mousepaw already at her side. Elmshadow blinked and looked back to the Shadowledge, turning his thoughts to Dawnstar’s continued announcement surrounding Thunderclan. None of it was surprising and only confirmed his recently thoughts of needing to get his herb stores in immaculate order for the coming violence. There was also a sort of relief in hearing the kits who were, by appearances, going to start their training early. Given a fairly rigorous training set for these new apprentices it would give the young a better ability to protect themselves than to be protected as useless kits.

The mottled enforcer’s face brightened at the mention of Thunderclan. That new leader was awfully bold and picking fights so this moment was inevitable but the predictability of it didn’t diminish any of the she-cat’s excitement. She tapped her claws against the ground as she listened eagerly.

Chubkit + Flowerkit

Ever the introvert (not) Chubkit delightedly skipped forward and plopped his happy ass right in front of the Shadowledge, sunshine tabby fluff bristling in excitement. Finally! Apprenticehood!

The dramatic opposite of Chubs, Flowerkit looked up as Dawnstar called her name, a small tremor going through the tripod as she looked up at Larkfire, giving her older sister a small nuzzle before shakily untangling herself and hobbling to where the other kits gathered. Anxiousness gripped her, and she looked up at Dawnstar. Hopefully her mentor would be nice.

Dogpaw stared up at the Shadowledge waiting for the leader to continue speaking. The apprentice turned barks head, his gaze going over his father and straight onto the mess one would call Starrypaw. You'd think Dogpaw would have ignored her and went to sit with his father like the many times bark has done before. This time was different. Dogpaw scrunched up his face before shaking barks head and getting up. The tom moved swiftly between the cats straight to his adopted sister.

"Get over here."

Dogpaw said in a low tone as he sat next to the black and white molly. The golden prince then went to attempt to groom the others fur to make her look somewhat presentable. Soon the toms attention was taken when the leader started to speak. Dogpaw turned barks attention to her as the large molly called up a group of kits. One of them being.. Sunsetkit.
Hm. Dogpaw turned barks head to spot the gray kit along with her older brother, Mousepaw. So his niece would be joining them in the apprentice den soon enough. Dogpaw turned his gaze back to Dawnstar as she spoke. No one alone at the border between Thunderclan and Shadowclan.

And they could attack any Thunderclan cat that they see. Even if they weren't crossing the border.

This made the black and white apprentice want to meet that ugly squirrel just to knock him around a few times. Maybe kill him. Bring his pelt back to camp. Not for praise if course! Just because Dogpaw had his own hatred for that cat.

"This'll be fun."

Dogpaw muttered to barkself.

Well...he hadn't thought that far truth be told. Tilting his head back and fourth in thought as he attempted to come up with an answer. Cool stuff, of course. But what specifically...hmm. His head whipping up to look at Sunsetkit as they spoke up, brows furrowed as she asked the question. "The Club!" he barked, although there was no malice, just surprise. Hadn't he made it plain and simple? "I mean of course we'll grow in numbers, but so we don't get in trouble, we gotta keep it a secret." he hummed, nodding his head as he said so.

His thought process was cut short, however, as his name was bellowed into the clearing. Along side his siblings names as well. Well darn, he wanted to be called first in the trio what was this nonsense he was the last to be called up. Sending a glare up to the leader before he scrambled to pick himself up in quite the ungraceful way. Following behind Clo..Cloverkit and Sunsetkit as they went up. Amber eyes looking around the clearing for his siblings.

Ah! The thought came to him finally! What it was they would be doing. His pout forming into a toothy smile as he practically skipped his way up between Cloverkit and Sunsetkit. "Well. We're going to go above and beyond of course!" he chirped, turning to look at Cloverkit. He didn't miss how he seemed frazzled. He didn't know what was happening, but he wasn't a stranger to a shortness of breath. It hit him whenever he played for too long or too rough with his siblings. Feeling as if he were sucking in air through a reed straw.

However, Eveningkit's smile didn't falter, instead leaning towards Cloverkit and aiming to lay his tail across the other's back for comfort, if the other allowed and if he could even reach. "Of course we'll blow their fur off with how amazing we are...while having fun. I'm thinking at one point we put frogs in Dawnstar's nest...after I put frogs in my papa's nest first. I gotta test it out and see how it goes." he sniffed. "Fixing up the dens and clearing at night, catching bugs and frogs at dawn. They'll never see it coming." he chirped with pride, looking to the side at Sunsetkit, seeing if they were still paying attention.

Cloverkit - The Lucky One

Cloverkit was surprised to hear an older tom's voice speak up behind him. It spooked him enough to stop what he was doing and turn to face the dark warrior. Calm down, he said. Cloverkit wished it were that simple but for some reason his thoughts wouldn't leave him alone. They kept telling him that everyone was staring at him, judging him, saying and thinking terrible things about him. Try as he might he couldn't remember a time when he wasn't so anxious. There always seemed to be something eating away at him, convincing him that he had to be cautious and afraid at all times. Especially this time...

Oh stars, just look at him! He was causing a scene and worrying his clanmates. All because he thought he was going to be punished. Despite his more logical side telling him otherwise, he still felt it was true. It wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that Dawnstar would punish him in front of everybody. He recalled his lesson with Hawkbite when he was younger. He learned of all that would be expected of him in the clan, and how if he failed to perform as such he would be punished. He would be disgraced. Hawkbite had said that cats who rebel or cause trouble are demoted to disgraces and aren't allowed to be treated with respect or kindness. Is that what was happening right now? Was he going to be disgraced because he refused to fight in Dawnstar's game?!

His eyes trailed up the Shadowledge, landing on the shadow queen's large, intimidating form. The leader loomed over him like a hawk eyeing its prey. He felt his breathing pick up again until he felt a pair of limbs wrapping around him. Words of encouragement filled his ears, claiming that he would be the best warrior in ShadowClan. His cheeks flushed, and if cats could blush he'd probably look redder than a death berry right now. He wanted to believe what Ruekit was saying, but that evil little voice inside wouldn't let him. He'd just have to wait and see he guessed.

The hug felt comforting and grounded him. The brown tabby leaned into Ruekit and allowed her to brush his tail away from him. Cloverkit took a deep breath. He still felt nervous, but he didn't want to worry his friends anymore. He put on his bravest face and gave a silent nod to Ruekit and the dark warrior, ready to face whatever punishment Dawnstar planned to give him.

Unsheating his claws, on his face appeared a grim and worrying smile, ThunderClan would pay for all of this, he exclaimed "ThunderClan will pay! They won't sleep at night, living shadows will haunt them with their claws and fangs! They will fear their own shadows, feari g the fact that it could become alive each second to tore their throat with real claws", maybe he had spoken too loud? But yes, it was real, they were a fierce clan, and the pitiful Thunderclanners will not stop them

Shadefrost listened to the words of his leader, then looked over toward Darkcloud. "Since we can't go to Thunderclan's border alone, would you like to come with me. It'll be a simple border patrol nothing more," he promised her cheerfully. If she said no then he'd just stay in camp with nothing to do, however if she said yes then that would be wonderful.

Darkcloud thought for a second before giving Shadefrost her answer "Ok then after the meeting" she mewed calmly she would have declined if they weren't doing something that could ais the clan but seeing it was something somewhat sensible and helpful she saw no harm in accepting.

Darkcloud just glanced at him emotionlessly and gave a small nod slightly amused at his enthusiasm but didn't show it she didn't show many emotions that was just the way she was for some reason but was loyal nonetheless.
