Wildpaw woke with the sunrise and quickly jumped out of his nest. Since his long fur stopped feeling quite so oily, he had gone right back to neglecting his it. His pelt stuck out in many directions and moss still clung to his fur as he slipped out of the apprentice den. He gave his pelt a good shake, sending debris in all directions-and yet so much still remained-before moving over to the warriors den.
He slipped right on in, sniffing the air to find out where Blackjaw's nest was. However, the first pelt he saw was dark brown. M/osstangle's scent was just as strong as Blackjaw's. Funny, their nests were so close it looked like one! They were sleeping even closer together than he and Morningpaw did. He tried to slip around her to reach his mentor, barely catching sight of the tom before a green eye snapped open. He froze. He hadn't intended to wake up the enforcer. He silently mouthed the word 'Sorry' before the tabby in front of pushed a paw out as though playfully shoving him out of the nest.
"Wake up, Blackjaw. Your apprentice is learning how to sneak up on you like Morningpaw does to me." Neither he nor the enforcer knew whether Blackjaw was already awake or not, but even little Wildpaw caught the amused light in the she-cat's eyes.

Blackjaw's golden eyes fluttered open slowly, blinking the sleep out of them as he slowly stood up. the tom's large frame shifted as he yawned. Pieces of white fur stuck out randomly, looking like a mess. "Good morning my love," the tom purred to Mosstangle, touching his nose to her cheek. He stretched out, grooming the few tufts sticking out from his pelt.
A quick glance at Wildpaw could tell that the young tom wasn't struggling with the overly greasy fur anymore, but he still needed a good grooming. The tom looked back at Mosstangle, smirking lightly, before flicking his tail against her shoulder as a farewell. He stepped out of the den, beckoning Wildpaw to come with him.
"Alright, first things first, you need to get your pelt cleaned up," the tom mewed, clearly amused.

'My love'...? OOOOOHHHH! Wildpaw blinked slightly as he realized why the pair slept far closer together than he and Morningpaw. A good cuddle still sounded really nice, though. Maybe he would just lay on top of his friend. That would be pretty funny. And comfy!
The calico 'paw padded after Blackjaw out of the warriors den. He tilted his head a bit at his mentor's instructions. Why were grown ups so obsessed with licking at their pelts? He never understood why the random queens would do the same to his pelt, too. They didn't do it as much when he shook the debris off, so he shook out his pelt, sending even more moss and dust out into the surrounding area. "Okay, clean. Can we go?" Wildpaw asked excitedly.

Blackjaw shook his head, a purr of laughter rumbling in his throat. "I suppose we can," the tom mewed. "Today's lesson is gonna be stealth training," he mewed coolly. How qualified he was to train stealth (With a snow white pelt in a dark forest)? Who knows. But he had a job to do as a mentor.

Oooooh, stealth! Wildpaw bounced up and down as he heard Blackjaw's announcement. "Are we gonna stealth ALL around the territory? And hunt? And do battle training, too?" He squeaked, voice changing slightly every time he landed. " 'cause you said we could do a territory tour, and hunt, and fight! Right? We'll do ALL FOUR!?" He was so excited, the energized shaking was starting again. He wasn't even away of it, really.

Blackjaw exhaled, remembering that he had told the new apprentice they could do all of that in one fell swoop. Maybe not his best idea, but, could be worse. At least his apprentice was excited to learn from him. The tom rolled his eyes in a dramatic fashion, looking back at the calico apprentice.
"I suppose if you do good in your stealth lesson, then we can move on to better things," he mewed. A territory tour would have to be at a later date however. It would take them far too long to venture all the borders and landmarks, and get the training that Wildpaw was so desperately begging for, in at the same time.

Wildpaw hardly noticed that his eyes were hurting from the sunlight as he bounced around in a wide circle, nearly running right into Blackjaw, his pelt so bright in the sun that the apprentice had to close his eyes every time the white tom came into sight. This was going to be so AWESOME! He was gonna be the stealthiest cat in ALL of shadowclan! ALL OF THE CLANS! "Okay, OKAY! I'll be so stealthy and quiet that I'll teach myself how to hunt while you try to find me!" The apprentice announced.
Off he pranced towards the entrance of camp, so much energy and so light on his paws that he just couldn't stop himself! He'd be so sneaky, he'd be able to find all of shadowclan's borders before Blackjaw could find him! Also, the shadow of the pine trees in the territory might ease the ache in his eyes, even if just a little bit. "C'MON, BLACKJAW! Let's go! We GOTTA go so you can teach me more stuff after stealth!" The calico squeaked, voice jumping with each bounce of his little paws. He felt so... ENERGIZED! He felt like he could run for DAYS!
