“She’s my mother and I do understand her!” Rosepaw was furious. “Why can’t you just leave a wonderful cat like her alone?” She listened to the deputy’s parting words. “Hush,” she muttered. “This is more important than you berating my mother. She could be the deputy!”

Twistedpaw nodded at the tom, sad to see him go but understanding. Being a deputy must be really stressful.

Snailswirl heard their leaders call, and quickly responded. "I’ll come!" They announced with a smile. It was something to do, not to mention spend more time with lovely old Coyotesnarl. Ooh, they’d have to ask him what he needed on the way. More patrols were in order.

"Ah, Robinpaw!" they called, smiling. The apprentice never failed to brighten their day. "Glad you’re coming, Robin." they smiled, then turned their attention to the high ranks. They would do whatever, if only to help. If Snail hadn’t volunteered, honestly, they wouldn’t have done anything else. This was a perfect opportunity to help out and waste time. A win-win!

She slightly narrowed her eyes. She hoped Dawnpaw didn’t take that as an invitation to actually do the back kick. “I’m going to the edge of the training moor. You’re going to turn away from me and I’m gonna run toward you. Just turn around when you think I’m close enough to do the back kick.” She explained with a flick of her tail.

Deertalon dipped his head respectfully to the former deputy; he was sad to see him step down, but he respected his decision all the same. "I can only hope our next deputy will be as honorable as you," he mewed with a smile.

When Coyotesnarl spoke up, Creekpaw put his rabbit down to speak. He would be fine mostly because he was almost a warrior and if he could handle a coyote attack he could handle this. "I think I'll be fine but, I'll keep it in mind." Then three more cats showed up. "Uhh yeah, this is a lot of cats."

She was getting more annoyed at the continued noise, the fact that he was tapping her with his tail. Why couldn’t he just leave her alone?! What was his problem? At this point, she wanted to lash out at him. Just yell at him. But she wasn’t gonna do it, he wanted a reaction out of her and she wasn’t gonna give him one. This little brat wanted her to get angry. Wolfwhisper wasn’t going to give him that satisfaction! In fact, she was gonna start being annoying too! She started tapping his shoulder with her tail.

It would... Mess with her training as little, as she finally wanted to out and try to catch one of those lapwings but... This seemed more important. Much more important. She didn't remember much, but she had been part of the kits who stayed in Thunderclan after the dreadful coyote attack, so standing up and at least trying to lend a paw in Thunderclan's time of need was really the least they could do. And that's why she was quick to choose.
With a made up mind, Hailpaw went to pick up a rabbit from the fresh-kill pile before turning and walking to the leader with her usual graceful steps "May i come?" She spoke up with the wording of a question, which was mainly politenes. Plus... There seemed to already be quite a few cats, so it seemed more appropriate anyway.

robinpaw glanced up at coyotesnarl, hearing his name. robin -- ooo, a nickname already! that was great! "mhm!! understood! aye aye," he replied, glancing at.. rushmore and gentlewhisper. the apprentice acknowledged them with a small smile, thinking about giving them a wave before deciding against it. he felt like he'd gotten one of those names wrong.. but eh. hearing his name called once again --- wow, he "sure was popular" --- the apprentice turned to see snailswirl.

"snailswirl!! hey hey!" he exclaimed, giving them a bright smile. "glad you're coming too... snail? snaily? snailsie? snailsie sounds nicer. glad you're coming too, snailsie!" he listened as a bunch more cats started speaking up. yeesh, that was.. a lot of volunteers. too many, in his opinion, if there was such a thing.

"hii all of you~" he whispered a greeting to all of the other cats volunteering, taking a small look at them.

robinpaw decided to disappear for a little bit, padding away from wolfwhisper and into the unknownnnn. waiting a long few moments, he crept quietly behind wolfwhisper, beginning to stare straight into the back of her head, only a few centimetres dividing them. hoping she would turn around to look at him creepily staring at her, robinpaw waited for the warrior's reaction, taking a nice seat as he craned his neck to glare at the back of her skull. he was going to win this. he had to help wolfwhisper with her.... issue.

"I can't go, why?! Why can't I go to fish cat clan? Is it because they are going to beat me up?" Stagpaw didn't know why he couldn't go with Twiglight and all the other cats to that clan. He was strong! and he wasn't stupid unlike many of his clanmates! He might be a cripple but that didn't mean he was useless either. "I can HELP! I can carry sticks and things!" He really really wanted to go! Maybe he could see those fish cats and some other cats too! He would actually learn something. So stomping his little paw he sat down and stared at his mentor with pleading eyes.
