Dsywhisper hummed softly as she padded into camp, dropping the prey she'd caught onto the pile before grabbing a plump rabbit and making her way towards the nursery "Fallenkit, are you in here?" She asked around the rabbit's fur. dipping her head to peek into the den. Her soft green gaze swept across the den.

Fallenkit looked up from her nest, her tiny ears flicking happily at her mother's voice. Hiya, mama! She messed, her green and blue hetreochromic eyes shining. Wasup? She smiled, her tail thumping across the soft moss.

She gave a small smile "Hello Fallen! I just wanted to check to see if you and your brother have eaten- How're you doing?" She asked softly, her tail swaying behind her as she dropped the rabbit calmly in front of her daughter.

Her gaze swept over the den once more in search of her son. He'd been sleeping... somewhere else... hopefully in camp, lately. It worried Daywhisper greatly though. Every day her son pulled away from the family more and more.

The more he pulled away the more helpless Daywhisper began to feel, she felt like she was losing her kits, even if Holly wasn't her mate's, she still loved him- and Crow also still loved him... what more could he possibly need?

Hollykit spent most of his time interacting with clanmates or sleeping alone in the elders' den. It was beginning to become tiresome constantly avoiding his family though. He couldn't wait to finally become an apprentice so at least he could throw his mind into training.

I'm fine. Fallenkit mewed protectively, noticing the sadness in her mother's voice. What's wrong, mama? She squeaked, her gaze drenched in worry. She looked over at her brother, who seemed to be thinking about... About... Whatever boys think about.
