He was still just ,, standing there. His round eyes flickering back and forth between Willowsky and Twilightstar as the conversation continued on. He couldn't express his own thoughts if the Queen was blatantly stubborn to not listen. In all truth, there wasn't anything Cowpaw could add. Here he was. A lot of standing and shuffling his paws around.

His floppy ears perked up slightly when Twightstar defended him? Was the right description to fit the statement? Still, his eyes shown with appreciation for the molly and his smile softened into one that was genuine. Maybe, maybe Willowsky would be willingly to listen to him now? Oh! He could even try and teach her a few gestures, maybe later on, he really hoped she could improve in her, uhm, flaws. Twistedkit deserved a mother.

Cowpaw was going to be optimistic, mhm, mhm! (Even if Willowsky was still... mm..rgh...) Turning towards the entrance, he bounced out of the nursery and led the two to his den. Luckily, he had just organized it recently! Unfortunately, now that the weather was beginning to turn cold, most of the flowers that kept a nice scent had started to wither. He would need to replace them with leaves soon.

Entering into the den, Cowpaw jerked his head into a direction of a nest for Willowsky to sit in. She was now officially a patient. Also, maybe if she was comfy it would help. He took a seat near said nest, glancing towards Twilightstar. "Is.. there anything I .. should be doing..?" Cowpaw inquired, he could try and get Twilighstar to translate to Willowsky but the thing was their leader knew uhm, more about what to do with these kind-of cats ,,

Willowsky let out a huff and lowered her ears as Twilightstar scolded her but made no comment. If the leader wanted to cater to Cowpaw and his stupidity, then she was welcome to. It honestly wasn't much of a surprise after everything she went through with Dawnstar. I mean, she only had one eye, for StarClan's sake!

The queen narrowed her blue eyes as Twilightstar said she would explain when they were in the den and reluctantly followed Cowpaw to his den. She momentarily debated sitting right where she was when the medicine cat gestured to a nest, but ultimately decided it wasn't worth Twilightstar's ire and sat in the nest he had indicated.

"So, why am I here?"

Twilightstar followed in behind the two cats relaxing a little once she noticed that Willowsky was choosing to be less challenging to deal with. Once they had made it to the den, Twilightstar took a seat and looked over at Cowpaw when he began gesturing again. A moment of silence washed over the den as the leader took a second to understand what the tom was asking.

He wanted to know if there was anything he could help with. If she was being honest, she felt like she should leave this more to Cowpaw, but since Willowsky didn't understand his gestures and didn't have the patience to try it leaving the pair alone wouldn't be good for anyone, even if it could be something of a learning experience.

"Unless you have something you want me to translate to her for you, there is nothing, in particular, I need you to do." The leader meowed a little reluctantly, she'd rather keep Cowpaw part of the discussion. Twilightstar was used to taking control of issues like these and has been since she stepped in as clan leader, but sometimes she wished she wasn't. It felt like she was robbing cats of an experience they needed to learn.

"Willowsky, Cowpaw noticed some injuries along Twistedkit's neck which he was told came from you nipping the kit when "disciplining" her. Considering how concerning the matter was, Cowpaw brought it to my attention. Upon talking with Twistedkit, I started to worry about Twistedkit's safety and wanted to talk to you about it. Have you been nipping Twistedkit and if so why?" Twlightstar dived straight into the meat of things without wasting time mincing her words.

Willowsky waited somewhat impatiently as Twilightstar spoke to Cowpaw first. She was the one who had been dragged here for some unknown reason, and the least the leader could do was tell her first. Ughhhhhh. Why couldn't anything in life go right for her? What had she done to StarClan to deserve this treatment?

When Twilightstar finally spoke, it hadn't been about what the black and gray spotted queen had expected. Well, she hadn't had any clue what it would be about, but she hadn't thought it would be about something this trivial. "I don't see how it's that concerning. I'm simply teaching the kit how to behave appropriately. I'm not sure how you taught your kits, but this one needs... special attention." Honestly, how else was she supposed to teach that thing? It didn't listen, and it wouldn't leave her alone when she asked!

The WindClan's leader's ear and a half slide down, pressed firmly against her head, as Willowsky spoke so dismissingly about her treatment towards Twistedkit. Twilightstar wondered if she should set up a permanent warrior in the nursery to supervise both the kits and the queens, and report any issues within the den to her. Twilightstar didn't really like the idea of full-grown cats being babysat, but no one in the nursery had informed her about Twistedkit's abuse and it probably would still be going on if Cowpaw hadn't caught it. That made Twilightstar wonder what else she wasn't catching in the nursery.

"I don't care how a kit behaves, this special attention is quite cruel and harmful to Twistedkit. I could easily have you exiled for harming a kit, regardless of whether you are her mother or not I will not tolerate such behavior in my clan. You're leaving physical wounds on her, Willowsky." Twilightstar wasn't sure if Willowsky understood the severity of the situation. It sounded like she was simply brushing the matter aside.

"A verbal warning is normally more than enough to teach a kit lesson. A very light cuff if the behavior is repeated, but normally kits do not go out of their way to annoy or pester their parents without a good reason. All they want is love, acceptance, and encouragement here and there. Nothing Twistedkit did or said to me seemed to warrant the type of nips you've been giving her. So I do wonder what in the world is she doing that makes you believe she needs to be punished so harshly?"

The medicine cat looked between the two, his ears slightly perked - gaze flickering back and forth whenever they spoke. Cowpaw nodded towards Twilightstar, right .. there truly was not much he could offer. It made him feel a bit sad, wishing he could simply do more but, Willowsky had closed ears. He watched the Queen intently, a frown on his lips. Scars. She had left scars.

Willowsky had tried to excuse it as special attention. His frown deepened, Twistedkit needed special love. She needed more affection because she was different from the others and not everyone was so kind. As Willowsky has proven. She needed to be accommodated - not - not harmed. Cowpaw was very much determined to make this molly understand this.

He looked to Twilightstar, lifting a large paw to lean over and attempt to gently tap her to grab her attention momentarily. "Could.. you please translate... for me..?" Cowpaw signed, waiting for a response before he turned his attention back towards Willowsky.

"This is your child.. I beg for you to have empathy for her..... As it seems, Twistedkit appears to ...have low self-esteem and is at risk to developing severe anxiety.... amongst other things.... This is caused by your emotional and ...physical abuse... From what she has told me,,,, you simply punish... her for speaking to you,,, Willowsky. ...She is intelligent and kind.... She relies on you to flourish.... I cannot understand if... you do not care or, are truly unaware but,,, you are causing trauma ....that she will carry on into warriorship. With.. this being stated, I have two questions for you.... Please do pardon me,,,, this is not an attack on you but,,, to put it simply,,,.., " Cowpaw shifted his weight, rolling his shoulders back. He did not want to become low to belittle someone but, he would not soften his words. Not for Willowsky.

"Do you love Twistedkit? ...Do you see her as your ...child that you love and carry ...the desire to raise her to be her ...best self - or would you simply rather not... be her parent? Please, answer honestly.... I will not scold you for your ...response but, if we are to help you.... - you need to want our help.." There was a question that burned inside his mind, but the tom would not ask. He could infer that if Twistedkit had a different appearance, everything would be all the different. Cowpaw waited for Willowsky's reaction, leaning back slightly - prepared for the backlash. He.. he was attempting to understand.

Willowsky's ears flattened against her head as Twilightstar's did and her eyes narrowed as the leader continued. She didn't understand why Twilightstar was butting into business that wasn't hers, how she chose to discipline her kit was her own choice! She wouldn't burst into Twilightstar's den trying to tell the leader how to parent her kits, so why was she doing this to her? At the mention of exile, a low growl began to rumble in the black and gray-splashed molly's throat.

"I don't see how you not agreeing with my parenting decisions warrants exile. She doesn't learn any other way than how I've been teaching her. Besides, the wounds aren't endangering her anymore than how she was born!" An agitated huff left Willowsky as she tried her best to explain her reasoning in a way Twilightstar would understand. And in a way that wouldn't get her exiled.

"I told you already, she doesn't listen. She won't do what I tell her and bothers everyone all the time! I never said I don't love her, but she is impossible to teach." Lies. All lies. Willowsky didn't love Twistedkit, and she had never tried to teach the kit anything. When Cowpaw started signing, she ignored it and kept staring into Twilightstar's single eye, assuming that if what the medicine cat said was important than she would translate it.
