he was SICK and TIRED of this. riverclan is in shambles, breaking almost every moon. "to be truthful, i am nothing more than a warrior that died in a training accident." his gaze swept across spirit's rest, which wardens would see to his request today? "riverclan, my old home, is in shambles. it's crashing down, and fast. it was stable when i died, lionstorm had just recently passed leadership to sootstar." honestly, it broke him. watching his beloved clan pass from one cat to another, all within a season or two. "i haven't asked before now... because i didn't see a reason to. not until i came across an apprentice slaughtered by one that was once a part of the clan i once called home." he flicked his bobbed, russet tail. "that is what opened my eyes to the state of my former clan."

"i would be an outsider at this time to my former clan, hence why i am asking for a reincarnation." he had nothing to go back to, not in his former body. "i had no family, no friends, not as 'appleseed'. but i'll have failed my oath as a riverclan warrior if i let it break further."

A Riverclanner, one who decided he could act after seeing a killed apprentice? Very late. RiverClan was actively crumbling, its been crumbling. His tail lashed as he stepped out, ears angled forwards. His usually maliciously calm demeanor replaced with pure anger. Fangs showing, brows furrowed.

“Now? What is it you think you can do now? RiverClan has been in shambles and yet all it took was a dead apprentice? After so many deaths now you decide you could possibly do something?” a snarl.

“Insignificant and tiny. They’ve been drowning since Lionstar. Leader after leader. You’re incapable of holding a proper training session. You can do nothing. You’re best dead.” a snarl.

the first warden appeared. "it was my mind that was unable to see that riverclan was crumbling, i had foolishly thought that it would stay as a stronger clan." his blue gaze fixed on the tom, he continued. "not as i am now, no. my life in this body brought nothing but pain to me."

better dead? in this economy?? "you say i'm best dead, yet the clans are rejecting those who walk among the stars. there is no use to me, not dead, not alive. torture me for all eternity when i die a second time, smite me for all i care, wipe me from the living's minds. do what you must." his eyes a pained gaze, "at least give me the chance to mean something to the clan i once called home."

This one looked vaguely familiar to him, and as annoying as Goosefury found Magpiewisp, he could easily admit the Dark Forest tom was right. He joined the other Warden in a flicker of starlight.

"You've waited. You've lost your chance to be helpful." He scowled at Appleseed. "Or maybe that was your goal - to wait until they were on the cusp of returning to normalcy so you could take credit for their recovery in the off-chance we sent you back. But here you are asking for reincarnation. What help could you possibly be, without your memories or your knowledge? You would be stuck as a kit with no semblance of the history of the world around you - those memories aren't guaranteed to return."

the next warden, a slight pang of remembrance hit him. goosefury, was it? "returning to normalcy? there's been ten leaders since i've died. have windclan or shadowclan had a change in leadership since then? no! i've asked around, they were chased out of their territory recently as well."

"returning memories are not what i seek, nor credit. i only wish for a new life, to start from scratch, to better my own soul... better it from my own ignorance. to at least try to mend some of the cracks that have begun to form in riverclan."

Daisypool approached, starry gaze showing a pang of sympathy to the cat. His snapping point being the murder of an apprentice... One who would give it all up, have his memories whisked away just to have even a chance at helping his clan. It pained her listening to the harsh criticisms.
She stepped in a way that mildly blocked the other two wardens, hoping their harsh words would be quieted."Have you no sympathy?" She said with a soft meow. "Riverclan is in need of all the paws they can get. Even if one warrior won't fix it, one with the loyalty and determination of yourself may at least make some difference..." A light smile spread across her face, kindly looking at the tom. She sat, curling her tail over her paws. "Though, how will you help? I believe you can, but do you have any semblance of a plan? Anything other than desperation?" She tilted her head, gazing at the cat.

he watched as a new warden approached, speaking words of support. he glanced at the other two before turning to the lilac cat. "there are a few things, albeit common, that can spark my memories. even if they dont, kits strive to be great warriors when born to the right cats, ones that encourage their children to excel, ones that nurture and care for their young. even the ones that dont have that try to exceed, to be better than the things they've lost." he stood straighter, and continues "whether or not i have familial ties in my next life, i will help the clan i once was a part of. whether or not my memories return, my next self will strive to be a great cat, better than the ones that broke riverclan, that much i am sure of."
