Once they got back to shore, Stagheart was silent for a few moments, carefully watching as his apprentice tended to her tiny wound and settled down. He frowned a bit in thought as he watched her, his blue eyes careful and inspecting.
"...How ya feelin'?" He asked almost gently, hoping the answer wouldn't be that she'd been half-petrified again; maybe it would've helped... at least a little? But he wouldn't bet too much on it.
Willowpaw looked up to her mentor.. "Better...... I guess. I just can't help but reenact it in my head, the water rushing around my paws isn't bad anymore, it's just the thought and the sound that scared me..... and I guess staring for to long." Willowpaw admitted, she felt safe admitting her feelings to her mentor, though she was lightly shaking, half from fear half from the cold water that seeped easily through her thin fur.

Willowpaw looked up to her mentor.. "Better...... I guess. Stagheart chuckled, glad to see at least some of her mind was off of the terrifying water incident for now. He jerked his head towards camp, grinning slightly. "C'mon. Let's git ya back — I wanna see the look on Weepin'paws face," he meowed good-naturedly, trying to keep up her spirits.
With that he led her back to camp, glancing behind him occasionally to make sure that she was keeping up.
[ heheh besides getting swimming down i believe willow just needs to do her final assessment! which would that technically have been in the mountains? she was made a warrior tho and i remember fading said to complete her requirements after so we could also rp her final assessment after she's a warrior, or as an apprentice before they leave for the mountains (i.e. when they were in the abandoned twoleg den or something, but that was also when willow just lost brightnight, so.... whatever u think hehe ]

Willowpaw bounced along happily, her minnows in her maw as she waved her long tail around above her head.
(Ooooooooo, yeah I didn't think of that. I believe that she could do it in the mountains, she was more determind to become a warrior after her mothers death so I believe she will do better then although her demeanor might be a bit more mature hehe. Still a cutie patootie for Stagheart though <33 )

Stagheart sat in the temporary camp's clearing, his gaze narrowed as he took in the sights of the forest far below. Claws scraping against the stone beneath him, he had to screw up his gaze a little bit against the greenleaf sun. Was it just him, or was the sun so much brighter all the way up here?
By now his paw pads felt all the more calloused after these moons in the mountains, and he was grateful for it. Rising to his paws, he took in a deep breath; this was the day to assess Willowpaw— no, Willowtail now. Fadingstar had made mention that she just needed to complete her assessment in order to keep the warrior name he wanted to grant her before they all left. It would be a little difficult in the mountains, but... also memorable, eh? A testament to what the young cat had overcome during all this time. And especially after her mother's death...
Stagheart made his way over to the makeshift dens, calling out. "Hey, Willow... it's time." She would know as well as he did what that meant. He sat back on his haunches for now, waiting for the fresh new warrior to slip out.

Willowtail awoke, streching gently as she heard her mentor....... well supposed former mentor. But the warrior still had lots to do..... including what she guessed he was calling her for. Her final assesment to see if she could be a REAL warrior or not. Willowtail streched and licked down her thin fur, long tail streched out behind her as she exited the den. "Morning.... guess it times then." Willowtail murmured. Willowtail had never lost her cheery aura after her mothers death, the only negative affect it really had was that it taught the young she-cat about the real world, the harshness of adult life. It built Willowtail, made her more mature instead of pushing back negative emotions and trying to be the cheery one who always had a comment. She also learned the cruilty of toms. Toms would do anything in there power to have what they want, her father was a prime example. Willowtail shook out her pelt, looking up to Stagheart with a gentle sigh. Willowtail looked up and murmured. "Starclan let me do good on this assessment..... for me and for Brightnight."

She was much stronger now after all she'd endured, and had learned a lot so far following the raid and the exile. As much as her mother's death had clearly hurt her, it'd also helped shape her into the mature young cat he saw before him now. The one who'd already earned her warrior name, despite still needing to complete her assessment.
The large, scarred warrior jerked his head towards the camp exit, starting to lead the way into the mountainous territory, making sure she was following behind; despite his usual cool demeanor, he had a bit of an excitement in his expression. It'd been a long time since he'd ran a warrior assessment, and they were always intriguing to him: getting a chance to see all of what you'd trained another cat for finally paying off.

Stagheart looked confused for a moment as Willowtail paused, but then saw her padding over to the medicine den. He smirked a bit to himself, knowing the fresh warrior was going to get last-minute support from her sisters. He padded behind, taking a brief seat behind them.
At Willowtail's call, Berrypaw popped her head out, giving her adoptive sister a beaming smile. "Oh! Willowtail! Today's your a-assessment, right?" She glanced behind her into the darkness of the sheltered medicine den. "Daisykit! C'mon 'n wish your sister luck! I-It's a big day today."
To Willowtail, Berry brushed by her flank in support. "You're gonna do great! I know it," she purred.
