An owl? Wolfpaw shuddered. The only time he had encountered an owl was in a dream, and he hoped it stayed that way. "Headache? m sorry, but can't help with that. I can give you poppy for the pain, but that's about it. Other then that, get some rest," he told the older cat, glancing over to the store to confirm he had poppy seeds. "Want me to grab a poppy seed to help?" he asked.
Dogchase noticed Wolfpaw getting a little nervous. Was his lack of remedy upsetting him? He was such a young medicine cat, and the brown warrior knew more than any cat how much growing could hurt. With a huff he put aside his pain to grumble out. "S'not your fault, kid. Just fill me up on those seeds, as many as I can handle." Objects were beginning to float and spin together. The colorful dots were starting to multiply. It was a little frightening, to him, how quickly he had progressed. All he wanted to do was sleep, but he seriously doubted he'd be able to do so with his head throbbing like it was. If those little seeds could help he wanted all of them, immediately.
"when I'm big and strong, I'm going to be the best leader ever! or...was it the best warrior? yeah! i'll be the best of whatever I am!"

☾☽☾☽✿❀✿ the orange kit looked up and froze in place- "sorry..." she lowered her head shamefully, she didn't mean to make the medicine cat so mad- but then again the herb tasted bad...ugh...maybe she shouldn't come here unless its needed.."i'll go...sorry" she then wiggled out the den and ran out, because the smell might have been good but the taste and a risk of getting in trouble was not really good- ✿❀✿☾☽☾☽
@Beaan (wolfpaw) (the kitten has left, also it was dock she got her little kitten paws on- she spit it out when she tasted it so she should be fine- I think)

Wolfpaw inhaled a shaky breath as he mentally prepared himself to talk to bumblestar - she seemed mad at the meeting. Wolfpaw didn't like that. "What can I- oh, Bumblestar," the brown tripod said, turning as the leader entered the den. "uh, sure," the medicine cat said, turning himself around to face the leader, yet still laying down. Right, the dream. It was a while ago, but wolfpaw replayed what he remembered in his mind. "Was in the territory n got picked up by n owl. it dropped me and i ran into springlight. she told me she was sorry and didn't get to explain before i woke up. I'm really sorry, i didn't know she was alive, i swear!" the brown medic told the leader, green eyes filled with guilt. Wolfpaw had to stop his head from going down the rabbit hole of all the bad things that could be a result of this. No, he shouldn't think about that, not right now.
It really did not feel good to see Wolfpaw so guilty. Yes, she was ticked about the whole situation, but from what he told her (and it wasn't as if he had any reason to lie to her... hopefully), he really hadn't known. And who would? Unless Spring mentioned it, or intentionally hinted at it, or something managed to somehow slip through, there was no way to tell.
Bumblestar let a forepaw slide down her muzzle with a heavy sigh as she sat down. "Alright, don't- don't apologize. You didn't know. I get it." It made sense that Spring would have told Drizzlecloud the truth. What she didn't understand was why Spring wouldn't come to her. The only explanation was that they were not as close as she had initially thought they were; that she had simply been, in some way, a means to an end.
Thinking about it angered her all over again. She forced her spiking fur to flatten and pushed the thought away. "Before you get any ideas in your head, she's not replacin' you," she told him. "She's never settin' foot in this den again unless it's for a serious complication or to train you. As soon as possible, I need you to find her 'n get her to go over everything she knows, alright? Every herb, every remedy, every tactic in that head of hers. 'N if she gives you problems, you come straight to me."
