Featherpaw padded up to Sunsetgleam. 'Great, another patrol? And it's an herb one? At least it's only cobwebs we have to get . . .' she thought. She sat down nearby and waited for the rest of the patrol to arrive.

Smolderpaw had been called on for a patrol! Exciting, if it weren’t for the fact that he was supposed to be an emo, moody teenage boy. So a little less exciting, unfortunately. Still, he padded on over, because it was his duty as an apprentice to do as he was told. He didn’t know either of these warriors, so upon arrival he just offered them an awkward, clearly forced smile. “...’m Smolderpaw.”
Oh, silly her. Floodsight was busy! Glancing over, Berryshine spotted a familiar mottled brown pelt and waved to Owltalon, giving her a sheepish smile. "H-Hey, Owltalon. Sorry, looks like I forgot that Floodsight is occupied at the moment. Would... w-would you mind joining Honeystep's patrol with Aspenpaw to Seagrass Fields instead? I-If you're not busy, of course," she added quickly, not wanting to impose too much on the deputy. She wasn't exactly sure all of what deputy duties entailed, but it seemed like... a lot. Then again, the warrior had always been up for any job.
[ my apologies, i assigned flood to this patrol without realizing she's on another one. she's a bit busy to take on both so swapping her out with owltalon! if you guys need an extra day or so for the patrol due to this let me know! ]

Owltalon slowly turned to face the herbalist, her ears twitching with interest. She listened as the medicine cat explained her honest mishap and offered her to join a patrol. A smile tugged at the ends of her battered maw. Was Berryshine unaware of how Owltalon was somewhat notorious for being absolutely terrible at herbs collecting? But, she accepted regardless. She wasn't really doing anything else anyways. Plus, why not lend a paw?
"Yeah, sure squirt, wouldn't mind helpin' ya out." She gave her clanmate a toothy smile before addressing the patrol with kind eyes. "Right, ya ready ta go gather some plants?" Stars above, she hoped she was.

Honeystep almost choked hearing that the damn deputy was coming with the patrol now. She had nothing against Owltalon at all but she was already feeling like she was walking on a tight rope of sharp rocks with her being the patrol leader, now she had to deputy to scrutinize every little thing she does? To Stormstar? She was already in enough trouble as is!
"A-a-aspenpaw! C-come on before... Before we go.... Without you...." She stammered out barely keeping it together. It almost looked as if she saw a ghost.
Don't mind Honeystep she is super anxious about getting in trouble lol
Aspenpaw darted towards the warrior, honeystep and deputy. He was late, he was delaying the patrol! Stupid ears not working properly and causing him to miss the initial call. "Sorry, sorry. We can go now" he apologized, a sheepish grin making its way onto his face. How embarrassing, he'd never been late to a patrol before and he hoped this would never happen again. Other than that, herb patrol? That was a new one. This time he could bring berrypaw real herbs and not just leaves!

Honeystep's heart skipped a beat when she was not only put on patrol but also made the leader! She had been failing the clan in her mind and was stuck inside her head with too many buzzing thoughts what she could do to help the clan she ended up doing nothing. She wasn't sure she was ready to be a leader yet, but she was trying to get back into the good graces of the clan again. Right. "Floodsight... Aspenpaw, I'll be right here!" She called out their name before sitting down and waiting for them. She knew it took sometimes a bit of time for a cat to show up so she was ready for that.
Adderstrike purred at the thought of going on a patrol again. It was always nice to go out and stretch her legs once in a while. She wondered how it would go with Drizzlepaw, but soon got an idea. Since it would be a herb patrol she could first gather the dandelions, showing Drizzlepaw how to do it and letting him know what they needed..... Which speaking of.... Adderstrike ran away from Berryshine without much of a word but this was only to gather Drizzlepaw.
Drizzlepaw was in the clearing but given his deafness didn't have any idea where or why he was leaving however he would soon feel a light tap on his pelt and turned to see Adderstrike even if he didn't know her name he recognized the face and would stretch and see Adderstrike motioning to follow. The deaf apprentice would do just that even if he didn't know what they were doing he trusted the warrior enough to follow. @Fish @Silverfur & Co (Sorry for the lateness of this.)
