Vine smoke led his patrol through the hills his head held high he was excited to be leading his first patrol but he would need to be cautious and ensure safety of his patrol he turned his head and motioned for the apprentices to come over “Alrighty group..uh we are looking for marigold an important herb for rabbitpaw and miss Lightningstorm to use it will look Round, eye catching flower with bright, yellow orange petals and a far too green stem. They smell very sweet, too” he said remembering her words “also be careful because it has a bitter taste and it’s hard to get rid of. I’m going to look down here are there any questions?” he said while looking at them

KestralPaw's chest was fluffed up confidently as she strolled after Vine, her tail sweeping against the ground. Though excited, she listened, looking for the yellow herb that they supposed to gather for the medicine cat.
She caught glance of a yellow flower and her mouth opened to call out... turns out it was just a daffodil. annoyed, she closed her mouth.
Now there were out at the windy hills, he looked back to the group and dawned a serious look. "The two of you, you heard Twilightstar, stick close. Having less mouths to feed isn't the goal here. Don't forget to look up." He said before turning around and started to stalk the hills.
No nonsense was Ashcloud's game and he was going to make sure that no one goofed off. The clan needed prey and he would love to report anyone misbehaving. He also made sure to glance back towards his friends and the sky. It slowed down hunting for sure but he was the patrol leader and he was responsible for these two lives. Slowly he stalked the hill, tasting the air and kept an eye to the sky. There was old tastes of prey around here, nothing worth pursuing.
Then a tasty scent filled the air. Heavy in the sent of berries and grass. Giddily, Ashcloud stalked the scent. Then there it was, a rabbit! The warrior leapt out for the rabbit for...

It to get right back into it burrow and for Ashcloud to eat dirt.
Ashcloud was so angry he didn't think about what he was doing next and dived right into the rabbit's tunnel. Luckily for him it was a small burrow, unlucky for him that meant he put his face right in front of a rabbit with a few young.

So he got a few sharp kicks into the face that he really couldn't do anything to avoid unless he backed out of the den. He was too stubborn at this point and he killed the mother rabbit. He wasn't going to be able to see out of his eye for a while but who needed that?

Now a fox in a chicken coop Ashcloud easily picked off a few young rabbits. He didn't feel all that bad since they were just old enough to leave the nest but not nearly as plump as the mother. Hopefully there wasn't going to be any bleeding hearts around. Cats needed to eat prey. They couldn't eat berries and twigs.

Twistpaw had vanished. She was chasing after a rabbit, and prepared to leap. She pushed on her back legs, and, with a lot of effort, stretched out her twisted paw so it could maybe be useful.
[ Twistpaw rolled a 3! ]
She landed painfully on a metal surface. Her paw was throbbing and she looked to make sure it wasn't bleeding. It wasn't, but she was in front of a black box with wire around it. She smelled something yummy inside and began to venture inside.
[ Twistpaw rolled an 8! ]
She couldn't resist the smell and padded further inside. There was a long piece of meat inside, and she bit into it. It was, admittedly, the best thing she had ever eaten. Suddenly, she was shut into darkness. She yelped, whipping around, but the entrance had vanished. She rammed against the door, hurting her shoulder.

The she watched the sky as she struggled to keep up, she watched for and kept her nose clear for a scent, but nothing. Till a little while later she saw some movement, near the ground a small hare leapt. The she crouched into her hunting position her tail twitching here and there, she leapt for the hare....

It kicked her face as she tried getting a hold of the hare...

She grasped the hare's neck biting down enough to hurt but not to kill it as it, and as the she bit down again the hare died after one final kick. She got onto her paws catching up with the others.

Twistpaw in some sort of.... Shiny bush? He didn't know what to make of it. He dropped his prey near this bush before he started to check it out carefully. "Twistpaw, are you hurt? How did this happen?" He dropped his no nonsense act as he tried to look for a way out.
