You hold on tight to the bag you hold, which clinks with every step into
the dark you take. It is time for your monthly offering; you don't want
this dark god to devour your posts like they're a buffet, do you?
You reach the mouth of the cave and hear a crash, a screech, and a hiss.
You peek inside just as a small creature with a bag similar to your own –
but full of something yellowish-orange – zips past your feet and into the
night behind you. You see Percival next, looking only mildly annoyed. You raise
your eyebrows, as you would have expected them to be fuming.
"Ah, my sacrifices. Give them here, peasant."
You know better than to ask
questions, so you hand Percival the bag. He greedily snatches it and looks
inside, smiling. "Yesss. This will do nicely."
They dump out the bag and
a pile of Kitty Koins spills out. You take this as your sign to leave, but you
hear a sharp hiss. "Wait. You are not done here."
"You saw that thing – my familiar, yes?"
You nod. "Good. As per usual, they
have run off with my precious candy corn. And as per usual, it is your job
to go fetch it for me."
You blink and furrow your brows. Huh? Percival is about
to toss a single Kitty Koin into their mouth, but stops as you hesitate. "What
are you still doing here? You know what to do, yes?"
You shake your head.
He sighs. "Very well. Here's what you must do. And listen closely! If I have
to repeat myself, I'll make you pay double your offering next month!"
I'm unsurprised my pesky familiar would steal my sweet treats –
it is a personal favorite pastime of theirs. But this time, I have a plan.
I've learned, you see, to poke holes in my bags of candy in order to thwart
their plans! And just because I know you all are asking, yes, it is
horribly inconvenient the rest of the year. But it is a sacrifice I make for you all.

The candy corn that wretched familiar stole looks like this:
Your job is to track down my candies around the forums using
whatever strange twoleg magic you can think of. I know my familiar
well, and I know it has been skittering about all over the site.
Once you manage to find a candy (that is, if your two pitiful eyes can
even find any), you must click on it.
Inside my mystical candies, you will find phrases or words that
must be remembered! Write them down somewhere. This is how
I'll know you found my candies.
There were
25 candies in my bag, but I must give my familiar credit
where it is due. They grow more clever each year, and you twolegs are not
nearly as competent as those of us with four legs and fur. So, I suppose
I'll settle for
at least 15 candies returned to my lair. If you can do that,
I'll let you off without a curse. This time.
If you'd really like to find all 25, I won't stop you.
Though I doubt you can even come close... I always accept a challenge.
To return the candy corn to me, you must
privately message me the phrases attached to them!
If you do not have access to private messages,
send in a Support Ticket
and my staff minions will relay the messages to me.
Every phrase you send me will net you
100 Koins,
and you will receive an additional
500 Koins
for finding at least 15 candies.
If you
do manage to find all 25, I'll give you an additional
1000 Koins from my
personal stash on top of everything else.

Alas, my fortune telling powers are limited, and I cannot tell you exactly where
each candy corn is. So your question should be, rather, where
shouldn't
you look? This, I can give an answer to. Let me peer into my crystal ball.
Oh, hmm. Ah, yes, this makes sense. Mhmm. I see. Really? Okay, yes. I'll tell them.
For starters, I know my familiar well. They won't dare go near the
Old Topics.
They despise cobwebs and dust. This eliminates a large portion of the site, yes?
Oh, additionally, they will avoid areas that require membership – so the
Alternative Warriors Roleplay and
Non-Warriors Roleplay are out.
You're free to waste your time if you choose, but no candy will be there.
The candy only shows up on the
first page of threads. So,
no need to go grave-digging through threads that are hundreds
of pages long. Please, for everyone's sake, don't wake the skeletons.
In
Out-Of-Character (OOC) forums, candies will only be found on the
first page of threads, and only in staff-owned threads.
This should help prevent you from digging in spots where no candy lies.
This also applies to a few categories in the
Main Roleplay forum:
The afterlife is far too spooky for my familiar. They won't go far.
They're also generally uninterested in anything beyond Clan territory,
so don't go digging for bones in there.
They got lost in the Private Roleplays forum once, so
they definitely won't stray too far into there.
Remember, for these places, candies can only be found on the
first page of threads, and only in staff-owned threads.
As for the rest of the Main Roleplay forum? Ha!
You're not getting off that easily.

It seems this also includes the Covenant of the Sky threads! My
familiar does love snooping around, and maybe you can learn a thing or two!

It looks like my familiar is a bit shy, too. You saw them dart out, they
didn't even stop to say hello. I suppose I can teach them manners
another day. The point is, they will only drop candies on profiles
they are familiar with: my staff minions.
Candies may be in staff members' profiles, signatures, and even albums!
Though, if they drop a candy in an album, it will be on the first page.
They used to go digging through pages of images. I have taught them better.

Aside from this, hmm. I don't have much other advice for you.
Candies can be in threads, splash pages, on profiles, tucked
away in corners, hiding in plain sight, and more.
Be sure to click every button you see. You never know when you'll
find a candy hiding in a page you've never seen!
