Whistlekit has to stop her frown from getting worse. Wrinkles. What was wrong with the Snowykits? A lot, that's what. So many things that it was difficult to say. In fact, it shocked her that Whirlkit didn't know any of this. At all. She'd thought all the kits knew by now.
"They're mean," Whistlekit meows simply, tidying the base of her fur. "They pick a fight with every single kit in the nursery. Especially Frostkit and Jaggedkit." She shudders, sticking closer to Whirlkit, before she whispers,
"And Frostkit and Strawberrykit bite. Be careful, or they'll kill you in your sleep. Don't tell any cat I said it. It's a secret." Whistlekit is satisfied with this, and she tosses the mossball to Whirlkit, waiting for the kit to catch it and throw it back.
Whirlkit catches, it, kinda. ut bounces off her, but she bats it back. Whirlkit says, "NOT NICE!"

Hiding away within the corner of the nursery was Leopardkit, unbothered to reside upon any form of nest so long as it meant that she got to be alone. Truth is; she wasn’t shy. Leopardkit was fairly well known between the other kits of the nursery to be quite.. Mean. Often making blunt remarks, or simply making others feel bad. Despite this, that was never Leopardkit’s intention — in fact, she had no clue that to any other kit, they may be coming off in an unfriendly manner.
Still, this kit wasn’t particularly keen on socializing. They’d rather focus on their upcoming training, currently that being in playing little kit games. Games are fun. But how long until games become war?

Ouch, ouch, ouch! Jag was just so mean, far too mean. The only thing that she could think of to counter his claims was a simple, sharp… “No!” Maybe one day she’d have to fight, but she did not have to fight now. She was free to play and have fun as she pleased, no matter how trivial it was to anyone else–even her own bumhead brother.
With a frown on her face, she shlumped down onto the ground, paws pressed into the comfy moss of their nest. “‘M not weak, I like… I like being nice an’ stuff, Jag.” She murmured in disagreement, but she couldn’t the rapid thumping of her tail behind her at the idea of her brother actually hanging out with her! Even if it was something as silly as teaching her ‘not to be weak’. She never spent much time with her brother–either of them, really–cause they were always off tousling somewhere. Perhaps she could… Soften him up, just a little bit!
Seedkit's reaction proved his point, she was weak or something like that. "and being nice is weak" he responded rolling his eyes. Jaggedkit took a step out of the nest and briefly stretched before turning to face his sister again. Puffing up his fur, he slightly lowered himself in crouch. Hunting crouch, pouncing crouch it was all the same. "come on, lets fight! I'll go easy on you and maybe you'll actually learn something useful." he wouldn't be rough housing to much with seedkit, definitely not like with his brother. What if he hurt by accident? Straws and cards would definitely gut him for that. "it'll be fun I swear! Please?"
Maybe asking nicely would work, now that he was fully awake he was itching for some action. Something to do, there was no frostkit in sight and he didn't feel like antagonizing someone just to brawl with them. Plus maybe he could get to know seedkit better? Who was he kidding he did care
Two out of three not bad! Crowkit was still.... somewhere but hopefully he'd turn up at some point.
For now Crowtooth was too busy getting attacked, 'yelping' as if Gracklekits swipe was a real blow and theatrically toppling over (not on top of his nephew), letting the pheasant fall to the ground in full drama, even as he nudged the bird towards the kittens to be investigated. "Wounded! Ive been mortally wounded by this windclan warrior, aint never gonna recover, done in by my own nephew!" It was an act partially ruined by his giant grin and the fact that as soon as Egretkit was close he nabbed her for a cuddle, still flopped, but it was fun.
"Well look at that kiddo! Ya sound just like me Egret that's amazin'! An' here I thought Crowkit was supposed ta be my mini-me! Next yer gonna go inta tunnelin' like me too an' yer Dad gonna try an' strangle me fer it heh! Little secret, both o' yer parents hate the tunnels but theyre bein' mice about it~"
Hawkfur would probably make him pay for saying that later but for now he wasnt here to stop Crowtooth from corrupting his kids.
Flipping onto his front finally (and taking Egretkit with him in a little ride) the tom spread out the large bird showing off all its long and pretty feathers, even wiggling the tail feathers to potentially bait a pounce. "This right here is a pheasant! An' yer right it is a big o' bird~ I was thinkin' its comin' time fer ya to be able to eat just a bit o' prey right so I thought we might share!"
They might actually have already started eating prey or maybe this was their first time, Crowtooth had no clue on kit development, but even if that failed the feathers were prime kit entertainment.

"Do you want to join us in mossball?" Whistlekit asks, finding another kit in the nursery. One she wasn't very familiar with. No matter, once she got to know them, Whistlekit was sure they'll get along like the wind. She was always like that. Friendly, fun, and pretty. Cats couldn't resist her.
Whistlekit tries to remember the kit's name. Oh, right. Leopardkit. There were too many kits in the nursery, making her confused over the names, but she was fairly sure it was Leopardkit. Someday she'll have to ask the queens why they decided to have so many kits all at once. Whistlekit was convinced there must be some sort of conspiracy behind it.
The kit looked around the same age as her. Whistlekit playfully tosses her the ball, meowing, "Leopardkit, catch!" She wonders if Leopardkit heard her talk about the Snowykits. If not, the more to gossip with, the better!

Leopardkit may or may not have been a little bit tuned out to even process someone had been talking to her; only being prompted to pay attention at the words of "Leopardkit, catch!"
Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be enough for Leopardkit to actually.. try. The mossball bounces off of their face, hitting the floor in front of them as no further attempt was made to interact with it. Okay...
Attention now fully devoted to the one who had thrown the ball, Leopardkit looked as though they were on the verge of a freak out at any moment. The tension, however, is cut off as they FINALLY say something.
"....I fear I have failed at mossball."
The cat frowns. This is the WORST day ever.

Gracklekit yowled in triumph, as noisy as ever, as he watched the big ol' brave WindClan deputy topple to the floor from his mighty strength. He couldn't help but snicker as he pounced on the scarred tom, Egretkit's impression of him hitting too hard to ignore.
"Yeah! Done in my me, the greatest warrior WindClan's ever gonna see!" He huffed, the ego somehow bigger than his little body as he unsuccessfully latched onto Crowtooth, falling off the moment the larger feline got up. He was going to ask about the tunnel comment, on why his parents would've been so scared over something that he heard talked about all the time, when the tantalizing wiggle of the pheasant's feather immediately made all thoughts leave his head.
Pupils dilating, Gracklekit let out a feisty little growl, dropping into an eager crouch with his tail lashing. With a mighty roar (that was more like a squeak), the gray-and-beige kit flung himself onto the waggling feather, trying to reach it before Crowtooth tried anything funny like snatching it out of his grasp. He didn't even pay attention to how pretty the feathers were, immediately wanting to shred his claws through his helpless prey.
At the prospect of eating some of this big ol' bird, however, Gracklekit only looked up for a moment, his nose twitching as he peered at it. "Hnng... Whatsit taste like?" He hummed, too stubborn at the moment to let go of his feather as he gripped it in his spiky little teeth. But the curiosity of the kit momentarily outweighed his determination to keep the feather in his grasp and he padded to the pheasant, prodding it with a small paw. He'd eaten prey before, but much smaller and tender things like little mice and rabbits — this one was much larger and had a ton of feathers in the way. Oh well, just dig through 'em, he supposed.
Without thinking or waiting for a reply, the impulsive little tom stuck his nose into its wing and snorted, sneezing as a feather stuck to his nose, shaking his head rapidly to get it off. "Ack!"
