This moon was even warmer than the last. Pleasant sunshine, flowers in fuller bloom, everything nourished from last moon's rain... it was perfect. The medicine cat was in happier spirits than normal as she padded to her place in the clearing, ready to do the daunting task of lifting her voice to be heard by all once more. Patrol time. RiverClan's sole medic dropped the herbs she'd been carrying as examples and cleared her throat.

"R-RiverClan! Gather around, please..."

SEAGRASS FIELDS - BORAGE & CHERVIL

Optional Prompt: The ground is a bit soggy from last moon's rains, but now the seagrass is fully blooming! It's long, soft, and tickles your paws as it blows elegantly in the wind, overlooking the sea. Perhaps you'll stop and admire the view.

"Shadowedcall..." The outsider-turned-warrior had been kind in teaching her some herbs. Perhaps she'd see how he'd do leading an herb patrol, hm? She dipped her head in greeting to him. "C-Can you take Spiderpaw and Crowpaw to Seagrass Fields to get some borage and chervil? I-I have examples here, for those unfamiliar. A-As you can see, chervil has rounded leaves in three-clustered branches," she added, looking at the two apprentices. Berryshine knew that Shadowedcall knew of the important between parsley and chervil, so that he'd get some of the right stuff and could help the apprentices distinguish between the two similar-looking herbs.

LIONSBEACH - MOSS & BLESSED THISTLE

Optional Prompt: Newleaf has brought back the birds, and you notice a particularly silly group of seagulls fighting over a crab shell. Shall you turn a blind eye, or give them a little chase for funsies?

"Sharkhail." The medicine cat glanced at the warrior. "P-Please take Floodsight and Whisperingpaw to Lionsbeach to look for moss—plenty should be g-growing around the stones by now—as well as blessed thistle. Get a good sniff of it... it looks like this," she meowed, pushing forward a flower with large, round, spiky leaves that resembled dandelion leaves. It had an earthy, almost bitter scent. "I just need the leaves; leave the roots there to regrow, if you can." Berryshine cast an extra smile towards Whisperingpaw, nodding in encouragement; she knew well how much the 'paw loved these patrols.

RIVERCLAN TERRITORY - COBWEBS & JUNIPER

Optional Prompt: Newleaf growth: good. Reemergence of bugs: not so good. At least there's spiders for your cobweb collection... and perhaps a unique, iridescent beetle for your collection? It'd look mighty fine in your nest! If you aren't afraid of creepy crawlies, that is...

"And... let's see..." Berryshine took another look around before spying a few others waiting to be called on. "Adderstrike, could you t-take Seapaw and Beaverpaw to our general territory? T-There should be plenty of cobwebs about as the spiders come back. I'd recommend using sticks to gather them. O-Oh, and juniper berries... here are a few as an example. They grow on dark green bushes."
