Newleaf had sprung (less exciting when it doesn't rhyme), and Gracklepaw just came in after a full day of chasing dandelion puffs and basking in the sun. He'd been born during late greenleaf/early leaf-fall, so this was his first newleaf! It was bright, and wonderful, and—
