I WILL BE ADDING ALL PATROLS TO THE PATROL MENU, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT. ALSO, FOR HERB PATROLS PLEASE LINK THE POST THAT YOU GATHERED HERBS IN YOUR REPORTING POST! THAT WAY THE HR TEAM CAN PUT EVERYTHING IN STORAGE.

Patrol time!

Berryshine was running low on a few things, but the good news was that it was newleaf once more. That meant the sun was shining (half the time, at least), birds were singing, and new growth was springing up through the rainy days!

Now, she just had to get some help from her Clan. Padding out into the clearing, the medicine cat cleared her throat, letting her soft and tentative voice ring out across the clearing. At her paws lay out one of each herb she was sending for, so that each patrol would have some examples of what they were looking for.

"R-RiverClan! Please gather for herb patrols..."

Waiting a few heartbeats, the small brown molly flicked her gaze over the assembled cats. Then she smiled, pleased to see her leader among the volunteers. She took a moment to count before launching into it.

SEAGRASS FIELDS - COLTSFOOT & THYME

Optional Prompt: Newleaf has been rather rainy, isn't it? The mist in this graveyard seems a bit thicker than usual! Nothing your nose can't work through, though... *sneezes*

"Owlstar, c-could you please take Adderstrike and Whisperingpaw to Seagrass fields to collect some coltsfoot and thyme? I-I mostly just need the leaves for both, although a few flowerheads is good too for poultices. Save the roots s-so they'll regrow!"

She pushed the two plants forward for them to inspect before dipping her head in thanks. Then, the medic turned towards her next group to-be-assembled.

LIONSBEACH - GOLDENROD & LAVENDER

Optional Prompt: Since it's been so rainy, you notice that there's even more wet sand you're stepping into (and not just by the freezing waves of the ocean). Perhaps it'll be fun to... poke around a bit? Maybe make a few shapes in the firmer sand, since it holds its shape so well?

"Eaglewing," Berryshine called with a soft smile. One of Cob's friends, though she didn't know her well personally. But if Cobs had spoken highly on her behalf, Berry was happy to see how she'd do leading a patrol. "C-Could you take Rainpaw and Seapaw to Lionsbeach a-and get some goldenrod? Lavender, too, i-if you can find some..." It was a shame how often she needed that last herb recently, but at least it had calming effects as well.

She let the patrolmates sniff and inspect the two example herbs she'd laid out, giving them a nod, and turning to some other cats who'd be her next volunteers.

RIVERCLAN TERRITORY - HORSETAIL & FENNEL

Optional Prompt: Newleaf showers bring more flowers... but also, lots of puddles. Maybe a good ol' splish-splashing on your merry way is in order!

"Heroneye." Berryshine glanced at the Lionheart with a little smile. "C-Could you take Stagheart and Copperpaw to the general territory and get some horsetail and fennel for me? For the f-fennel, it grows best near the river, but in dry spots."

She let each cat take a sniff of the herbs before dipping her head to them in preliminary thanks. Then she stepped back with a trill.
