Briarsplash had to suppress a snort; Houndpaw and Hillstrider both declared that 'YES MA'AM!' with such conviction that she almost felt like she was a Commander alongside Hawkbite. It was ridiculous, but also kind of... nice? To have cats listen to her? Heh. The Enforcer's whiskers had twitched in satisfaction as she turned, trailing a bit behind Fishpaw; enough to make clear distance, but close enough to watch the apprentice make her first catch. Nice work. Hopefully that meant the 'paw would be good for that second piece she needed to get.

Catching her own prey scent trail, the fluffy she-cat made her way through the undergrowth, trying to be as graceful as her stocky stature would allow. It wasn't long before a few critters ended up crossing her path.

First up was a robin that met its untimely fate in the claws of a hungry warrior. It hadn't been a clean kill, but got the job done. Next, she'd tried to chase a shrew... but the skittering little thing had evaded her claws, escaping into the roots of a tree. Snorting, the Enforcer had continued on, thankfully finding a scent trail of a frog. That creature was too slow to hop away; in a better kill than the first one, she'd managed to cleanly snatch it from its muddy place and end its life.

She decided to go check on Fishpaw, then loop back. Keeping an eye out for prey, Briarsplash had spied another robin. Perhaps early newleaf arrivals. Waggling her haunches, the she-cat leapt, managing to make another catch for the day. With three pieces of prey, she felt satisfied for the moment. Peering through the marshy area, the Enforcer tried to find Fishpaw.

"You doin' alright?" She called, her raspy voice muffled by her wad of prey. "We should 'bout start heading back."
