From his tree, Duskleaf could hear Cobwebfern sending out some herb patrols. He perked up his good ear to listen, silently hoping he’d be on one. Duskleaf had been keeping to himself a lot in recent days, perhaps it was the change of the weather having funny effects. As he stood up and stretched his legs, Duskleaf heard Cobwebfern call his name. Okay, so he was to go with Wormbite and Seapaw. Wormbite he was more familiar with, having been on patrol with him before. Seapaw he didn’t know so well, then again, he didn’t know a lot of cats very well. Duskleaf picked up a few of the leaves on the tree and put them in his fur, holding back a laugh as he remembered how much he used to hate having leaves in his fur but now really liked it. With that, he made sure to land on his paws and descended the tree, walking over to where Cobwebfern was calling patrols from.

Duskleaf made his way into the middle of the clearing where he spotted a young cat sitting there and padded over to him, assuming they had to be Seapaw. He sat down near the apprentice and greeting them with a smile and a respectful nod. He curled his tail around his paws, looking around to see if he could spot Wormbite.

Duskleaf approached, and he quickly smiled back at him. "Hiya," they greeted him calmly. It went quiet for a little while... Where was Wormbite? "Uhhh, do you think Wormbite's coming?"
