Briarsplash nodded with understanding to Dawnstar's amended rule. To think that a warrior would target an apprentice like that... good thing Starrypelt was dead. Briar would've liked to sink her claws into the traitor, but hey, justice had already been done. She'd just have to keep her nose to business and look out for anything suspicious, as usual. With her new title, especially, she was more than happy to do so.

The stocky Enforcer sat back on her haunches, quietly watching by herself as the apprentices were reassigned, and as Midnightpaw proudly proclaimed her promise to become a true warrior. Briar's whiskers twitched as she heard it, reminding her of her own apprentice ceremony all those moons ago. She'd been way too old for an apprentice due to her joining the Clan as a weak, clueless youngin' — she'd been so eager, so determined to prove herself. Not much had changed since then.
