Dusklion said that RiverClan could hold their own, but he knew better. They were hardly above a group of rogues with the amount of stability they tried to hard to stitch together. A light breeze could knock them a whisker's length off-course and they would still end up scattered to the wind - in this case, quite literally.
"Dusklion, you are dedicated to your Clan and that's admirable. I wish they had more cats like you, now more than ever. But the last thing they need right now is an all out war to erupt because of your ill-made accident. You couldn't handle ThunderClan. What makes you think you're in any shape to handle a second attack? Bumblestar's forces hit you hard, but Twilightstar's anger and grief is fresh and runs hot. Accident or not, Fallownose is still dead by your claws and your Clanmates will pay with their lives, and if by some miracle WindClan fails to claim even one, they will still pay with their blood!”
The branches overhead creaked ominously, and Goosefury sucked a deep breath in, beginning to step move closer to her. His steps were slow, the mist unmoving, slipping past his paws as if he wasn't there at all.
"Are you prepared to shoulder that responsibility? Truly? To take a life with your own claws is one thing, but it is entirely another to watch your Clanmates bleed and fall around you as a result of actions taken that could have been avoided altogether. Is that a weight you're willing to carry for the rest of your life?"
