Batflight padded into the warrior's den with a wince, paw pads tender and cracked after taking Palepaw on her border tour. Walking the territory didn't normally leave her paws so sore, but a moon off of her duties had left her pads softer than usual, and the cold certainly wasn't helping.
She curled up in her nest, tail over her nose. Hopefully now that she was back to work, her paw pads would adjust - if not she'd have to make a trip to the medicine den, again.
