Was it slightly embarrassing to have completely missed a patrol report? Well, of course it was. However on the other paw there could be rational explanation. There was such a focus on speedy results, reporting, communication, discipline, and while sure those were things of value. Rabbit placed more of his attention on the cats he was around. Springpaw and himself had been assigned to hunt, no biggie, except it was a big biggie. Springpaw hadn’t had the chance to explore the territory yet and he being caught up in the excitement of that failed to report.
