 How do I make a character and join a Clan?
Add your character to a Clan here! Once you've filled out the form, you're free to begin roleplaying the character in the Clan. You do not have to wait for your character to appear on the Allegiances.
Where do I roleplay?
Most roleplaying happens in the Main Roleplay, which houses the primary storyline on Warrior Cats Online. Each category contains a set of threads to roleplay in.
How do I find roleplay partners?
There are a few options! You can reply to
any post marked as "open" or make your own open post. You may prefer to find partners by establishing character connections, or you can simply leave a polite message on an active member's profile to ask if they're interested in a roleplay.
How do I get relationships for my character?
Character Resources is the place to go. You can create your own thread, or you can browse others' threads for potential relations.
How do I make an outsider?
Rogues, loners, and kittypets do not have to be applied anywhere. You can begin roleplaying them immediately.
Can I make my own Clan?
You can make your own Clan in the Alternative Warriors Roleplay, as long as you've joined the Other Roleplayers group!
Can I be a leader, deputy, or medicine cat?
These positions are offered to exemplary members. To be eligible, your account must be in good standing, and you need to demonstrate activity in the Main Roleplay for at least one month.
Why am I not notified of Clan meetings or events?
Clan-wide mentions are available to members who opt in. To do so, go to Edit Profile and find Group Memberships. Select Join Group for the Clan you want, and hit the big Join Group. Now you'll get those mentions when they're used, and can use them yourself! Just put @whichClan when you're hosting events and it will notify everyone who opted in too. |
Why aren't my posts showing up?
If you're a new member, your first five posts are moderated to ensure you aren't a robot cleverly disguised as a roleplayer! After your account is no longer moderated, you will gain access to all features of the site.
Why aren't mentions working for me?
The culprit is often a bracket bordering the @mention. Edit your post to put the mention on its own line, then it should work!
How do I earn Koins?
The best way to earn Koins is by roleplaying. Koins are generated when you interact with other members on the forums, and there's a bonus for logging into Warrior Cats Online everyday.
Can I roleplay anything other than cats?
Definitely! That's why we have an Other Roleplayers group that gives you the ability to see the Non-Warriors Roleplay category.
How do I report someone for breaking the rules?
Click the report icon  to bring a moderator's attention to the issue. Every report is seen and reviewed, even if we cannot share the outcome for privacy reasons. You can also contact support about the problem.
Can I change how the site looks?
Sure, we have many options available. To select a new style, scroll to the bottom of the page and look to the left side for a dropdown.
I forgot my username / password. What can I do?
If you've forgotten your login details, try checking the email that you signed up with. You can request a new password here. To retrieve a lost username, reach our technical staff at support@warriorcatsonline.com for assistance.
