Marcus was ready to retort but the mention of dropping it made him consider, than do just that. Drop the subject. Yet, he still he glared at him, eyes narrowed as he sent the silent message.

His stare was interrupted by Eres pushing between the two of them, looking at Luke, before Marcus. "Look, let's just forget it, and travel a bit more before we settle down. Okay?" She offered, looking around them quickly.

Luke nodded and sighed before turning on his heel and continuing forward, small puffs of breath coming out every few moments as he breathed. The wind mage would have to tell Marcus sometime, or else erase himself from Marcus's memory entirely.

The man kept walking, hearing the rice and beans jingle in his pack with every step. He couldn't believe that the woman spotted him from that far of a distance and was so sure it was him- if so...why wasn't he spotted earlier. He thought back to the missions he went on here and remembered one.

Luke, age 13, was needed to kill a mage who had taken some money in a loan from his guild. He remembered walking into the bedroom and peering over the mans body before making the kill, however he also remembered the wife that made eye contact with him all those years ago.

So that's how...that's how she could identify him so fast. She was one of the few people that made eye contact with him.

"Sure." The wind mage replied, gently setting down his pack on the ground and digging around for the tent poles and tarp. After a few moments he pulled out all of them and started building the tent. When that was done he sat down and leaned back on a tree, sighing softly. "Well I suppose I can talk about it now, Marcus." he grumbled, glaring at the other man.

Luke sighed and shifted, sipping from his water bottle before standing and quickly starting a fire and putting some water in a pan along with some rice and beans.

The wind mage made not attempt to block the blows or to dodge them. He just took them, a grunt of pain echoed in the air when he was hit in the stomach. "I...I was a stupid damn kid."

Hey, continuation of last forum! If you have already been apart of my forum on the old site, just sayings something below and give me you characters name and magic- then go ahead and rp!)

In the new world of Earth-Land, wizards and mages populate and dot the terrain. Guilds have long since popped up, wizards and mages working in them for jewels. They face challenges far and wide, travelling around Earth-Land in hopes of helping people and defeating monsters.
But not every guild is a beacon for help. Dark guilds dot the land as well. Thieves, lairs, cheaters- they will hesitate at nothing to get what they want...but you don't have to worry about them. Though dangerous, they mostly are non-magical- no powerful mages or wizards confide in them. Or at least, not right now.
In Magnolia, a merchant city in the country of Fiore, is where your adventure begins! In the guild of Fairy Tail! Regarded as the best guild in the country (maybe even the world) , you represent them and take jobs under its name. You and your guild mates are one giant family, and will proudly fight for each other!
That is, if you are brave enough to join. Fairy Tail might be popular, but not everyone has a love for the guild itself...

Hey guys! This is my first ever thread, so pardon the summary.
But, let's get down to some more technical stuff.
This thread is based off the anime by the same name. If you have any questions regarding currency, location, or even magic used, here is a link for you to the wiki. (Not the most reliable, but it probably covers more than I can!)
For characters, I would prefer if you created original characters, and not rp as the characters from the anime. This just causes less problems as far as canon and non-canon divergences. Also, the whole don't make your power too op please!

"Just a little bit of rest won't hurt..." She quietly, here voice soft. She closed her eyes and drifted off into sleep, her dreams filled with desire.

Marcus grunted as a response, curling up further on himself before falling asleep to the darkness, fire crackling and providing the slimmest bit of light.

Eres woke up quickly, but not in a way that she was startled awake. Instead, her eyes popped open, and breath rushed into her lungs. Overwhelming, yet not quite so. She slouched up, jacket falling before rubbing her eyes with her palms, blinking at the grogginess of her state. It came back quickly, the actions that had occurred earlier sweeping her mind. Then, she gripped her knees, sitting up and staring at the dying embers of the fire. She couldn't sleep. She couldn't look at Marcus. She couldn't look at Luke. She stared at the dying fire, eyes wide.

Luke sighed gently and listened to the faint sounds only the forest could make. He frowned deeply and sat up, rustling the grass under him. The mage needed some air to think- to breathe before something bad would happen. He stood and walked into the forest, letting the chilliness of the air around them sink into his bones.

He felt upset with Marcus's reactions, however he understood them completely. There wasn't that much of an age difference between the two, but he seemed to have been scared of The Whisper of Death. Luke clenched his fists and looked ahead of him, trying to keep his calm.

'I cannot cry. It is not something I need to do.' he told himself before looking at a tree and glaring. He had to get his frustration out somehow, and with thinking that he swiftly punched the several hundred year old oak and sent it falling to the forest floor, but before it could crash onto the ground he gently softened the fall to a small 'pat'.

"We can talk, Eres. I will answer anything you ask with all honest truths. I won't lie to you- I won't hurt you or anyone you love and cherish."

The wind mage stood and looked down at her, "Ill damn die for you- and if I could I would die to bring back the people that were killed." He took a small breath and wiped his eyes, finally showing emotion after much of this. "I just... I don't expect you to accept my past or who I was...just understand... I'm different now..."

Alpha woke up in time to notice the tree fall, but heard no sound to it. She turned her eyes to the spot where the tree once was. her eyes shining with curiosity, she walked toward it, felling her magic energy had been restored. She spotted Luke and stared for a moment.

"It doesn't bring them back. However I will do anything in my power to let them know I regret what I have done." Luke replied to her comment, a frown on his face. "I know that what I did was incredibly wrong and cruel- I know there isn't no way to bring them back."

Yet her body never moved, and her eyes strayed. Time. They were going to both need time. At his request, at his continuous own tears and endless sniffles, she wiped her own face with the heel of her palm, desperate to clear of the trails of tears that made ugly lines on her face. His confession made her bit her lip, another sob threatening to spill and Eres had to keep it in her throat with a thick swallow. "I want you to...I want to understand Luke it's just..." Eres tried desperately to put the feeling into words, the past fears that plagued her mind into some sort of intelligent thought. But nothing more than loneliness was swimming in her mind when she thought back to then.

Luke laid in the tree before hearing a large crunch and with that he fell out of the tree, crashing onto the ground and gasping for breath. 'Dear god...' he thought as he rolled up into a ball and groaned.

Rocks tumbled around him and a sudden burst of them made him jump back onto his feet. "What the hell!?" He said quietly. The wind mage backed up as a tower of rocks appeared from the ground.

"Oh hey Lucassss." Said a tall and slender man with a smirk, he was standing on top of the pillar and looked down at Luke. "Long time no see, little dude." He said with a long and drawn out chuckle. He jumped down and landed next to Luke with a large thud. "I heard the Whisper of Death was just in the village south of here. Wasn't that difficult to find you, and honestly I find it disappointing that you didn't try harder, Lucas Lucas Lucas."

Luke glared at the other man, his brown eyes narrowing at him. "And what the hell do you want now?" He asked, voice and tone as cold as ice. He shifted and clenched his fists before sighing- it was an old "friend" of his- Ebas. "I've already had a heck of a day." The wind mage said, scratching the back of his head.

"Oh just catching up." Ebas said with a cold smirk. "What have you been up to?" He asked, ticking his toungue as he circled around Luke.

"Nothing." Luke replied coldly.

"Mhmmm sure, like I believe that." Ebas said, placeing a hand on his shoulder and putting his head on the other side of the shoulder. "Whose the chick though?Your girlfriend?~ Ya know I never thought you'd be able to keep a woman in your life."

Luke glared at the other man and placed his hand on his chest. "Go away. I have no reason to either fight you or welcome you." He growled, clenching his fists.

"Awe you are just no fun!" The other mage replied, pouting and pushing Luke backwards. "What. Did you throw away your life of crime for this senseless crap!? Honestly I find it pathetic, you once were the most powerful wizard but now look at you... shying away from a couple of villagers."

"Shut up." He replied.

"Oh why the hell should I, Lucassss?" He hissed, leaning towards Luke. "I mean come on. It's been years and you won't even talk to your best friend?"

Luke puffed out his chest and glared at the other mage before turning on his heel and scowling deeply. "I have no intention of even becoming aquatinted with Dragons Bane ever again, so your efforts will be wasted."

"Again- you are no fun." He said after a long and heavy sigh.
He brushed back some of his bright pink hair and smirked faintly. "I suppose you wouldn't be against an earthquake then? Maybe have a rock fall onto your little girlfriend's head? Also nice tears you had going there- really believable."

Luke narrowed his eyes and frowned, "They weren't fake so go away." he growled harshly before pushing a wind tunnel towards Ebas, sending the man to the ground. "Seriously, last warning."

Ebas's face went from a frown into a scowl at those words and actions. He quickly stood up and made a punching motion towards Luke, sending countless rocks and stones his way. Luke promptly dodged the attacks and ran forward, gripping his old friend by the neck. "You will not touch her or her friend." He said with a deep growl. "You will damn leave or else I will have to kill you, Ebas, and I don't really feel like getting my hands dirty with trash like you is worth it." With saying that, he promptly flung the man into the air before bringing his elbow down in his gut. He heard a small crunch but ignored that, kicking the man into the sky and turning away.

Ebas gasped for breath at every hit and flew into the sky, his yellow eyes wide in fear. He fell towards the ground at lightning speed and landed with a crash, spreading dirt and debris all around. The sounds of the impact echoed through the forest as he was laying there, half dead.

Luke walked over to Ebas's body and sighed, narrowing his eyes. "Don't hurt them." He said before turning and walking back to camp.

Eres lowered her keys gently, flicking from his form to the one of the passed out 'friend' next to him. She hesitated but slotted the keys into her ring holder once more, and lowered her protective stance. "Oh.' She murmured softly, eyes falling on the passed out man once more next to Luke.

Marcus panted as he ran, catching up to the scene and stiffening immediately. "What is going on?!" He yelled and Eres sighed, before turning to him. "Relax. A guy was trying to attack us, Luke took care of it. It's fin-" Marcus grabbed her behind him before looking to Luke again. "Sure, he 'saved' us." He growled sarcastically, and Eres flinched back before hitting him over the head. Marcus grunted and rubbed the back. "Stop that already." Eres growled at him and he rolled his eyes, narrowing them briefly back on Luke.

Eres lowered her keys gently, flicking from his form to the one of the passed out 'friend' next to him. She hesitated but slotted the keys into her ring holder once more, and lowered her protective stance. "Oh.' She murmured softly, eyes falling on the passed out man once more next to Luke.

Marcus panted as he ran, catching up to the scene and stiffening immediately. "What is going on?!" He yelled and Eres sighed, before turning to him. "Relax. A guy was trying to attack us, Luke took care of it. It's fin-" Marcus grabbed her behind him before looking to Luke again. "Sure, he 'saved' us." He growled sarcastically, and Eres flinched back before hitting him over the head. Marcus grunted and rubbed the back. "Stop that already." Eres growled at him and he rolled his eyes, narrowing them briefly back on Luke.

Eres has settled down once more, leaning against a tree but sitting, nonetheless. "Hey, you should sleep." Marcus murmured but Eres only grunted a bit of a response, before just closing her eyes, still sitting up and hugging her knees. He sighed but settled down himself, quickly falling asleep once more. Eres reopened her eyes blinking tiredly yet body to restless to sleep.

Ferna stood on it, twirling a piece of hair and waving energetically at the three on the ground."Oh, how can anyone resist that cute face?" She purred, andEres almost gagged. Christopher soon popped up on a pillar of shadows, different from the one Ferna had- sleeker. "You were hard to find...scattering yourself like that. Running. Pitiful, I thought my own daughter was as pathetic as to run." Eres gritted her teeth and grabbed her keys, wasting no time as she reached for one of her silver keys. "Open, Gate of the Sphynx, Azizi!"

The light made Ferna and Chris cringe as a hyper blonde girl pooped out, flipping across the ground before ending on the tips of her toes. "Aw, Eres, it's been so long since you used me!" Egyptian jewellery lined her neck, and her clothes were thin and breezy, a stark contrast to the cold air around them. Yet, she seemed to possess some type of glow around her, making her tan stand out along with her bright, sky blue eyes. Her tail whipped at the ground and she winked back at Eres. The redhead only responded with the sharp command. "Go, Azizi! Be careful, and target their shadows!" The girl flashed a look of slight discomfort at her voice but moved towards the two anyway, making a staff out of the dirt beneath her feet before attacking Chris and Ferna with a growl.

He wanted to help, an emotion he usually did not express or feel for the damn wind mage but that was Chris, and​ he was a jerk anyways.

He lunged forward, knocking Chris from Luke's grip and the man grunted as they landed. Marcus winded up before reeling his fist right into Chris's face, making his nose release a horrible crack. The mage growled before shadows dragged Marcus off, picked up his body and slammed it against a tree trunk. The brunette growled but got up, cracking his neck.

Luke stood, blinking as Marcus attacked Chris, his fists clenched. He didn't want the damn guy to die for him. He sprinted forward and launched himself onto Chris, daggers appearing on his finger tips.

"No one, and I mean no one- hurts my friends." He said, putting his forearm onto the other mages neck. He tapped his fingers on Chris's forehead, pricking into his skin in a harsh manner.

"Now now now." Luke grumbled, voice getting deeper but somehow lowering in volume. "You have hurt Eres and Marcus enough. And now I will repay everything back to you." He said, grabbing Chris's chin.

If she had listened to us, if she had been accepting instead of the stubborn child she was, if she had been a daughter I wanted it would have been better! But she is nothing more than a scum, a stain on our name. We want to cleanse her, make her understand that we are live, strength!"

I just read and read, I didn't stop before I had learned everything about the keys. It was everything I ever wanted- people and friends and my beck and call." She blushed, looking away and chuckling. Eres finally came out of the bathroom, long pink wool.swester and white jeans. Her hair was pulled back in a tight pun, and she slid around Luke gently, moving to the counter as she grabbed out tea. "It's such a shame it's so crappy out today." She made small talk, looking out at the rain pattering on the window. "I mean, we could still go out later tonight if you're up to it. I was thinking about maybe going to the small pub down by the block end? It looked good." She continued to work on making her tea while rambling, small hand gestures everyone and then.

"Mm yeah we could do that." Luke replied, sipping at the cooled liquid as he watched her. The wind mage sighed gently and closed his eyes, listening to the soft pat pat of the rain as it dripped on top of the building, splashing and making small ripples in the puddles they created.

The wind mage turned back to Eres and led her out of the shop, his face going back to its normal aloof shape. He sighed faintly and walked across the mall, before finding a bench to sit at and sitting down there to take off his own shoes and replace the ruined ones with the new ones.

He slipped them on and tightened the laces before looking up at Eres. "These work, right?" He asked, looking down at his feet.

I suppose it is a food charming magic...only lasts around eight hours or so... until the said food is digested or the Magic is removed by someone who knows of the Magic. Damn.... She pushed past people in the street running away from the scene, eyes wide and desperate despite people telling her to turn back. At some point, the people weren't moving on the street, but she couldn't look at them. The wind picked up, whipping her face but she kept going, needing to find Luke.

Eres looked at Coilin, eyes squinting up for a moment before the chanting started. She whipped back to the cloaked figures, and her breath stuttered. "Pit, what are you doing?! Go after them!" She yelled, eyes desperate. She began to rush forward when Soleil blocked her path. Feelings of warm tried to wash over her but she denied it. She pushed the bird, eyes desperate and hysterical. "No, Soleil, move!" Eres yelled and Soleil felt a sense of guilt come after him. Yet he continued to push back.

Pit floated down, gripping her shoulders. "Eres, we can't do anything-"

"Yes, we can!" She yelled back, shrugging off his hands. Tears were falling now. "We have to save him-' "Eres, he tried to kill you. He killed multiple people." Eres sobbed. "Pit, please! We can't leave him!" She cried desperately and Pit sighed. "Eres, please..."

Pit growled, eyes wide as he then loaded his bow. Yet, it slowly fell to his side as he watched the cloaked figures continued to walk away. His eyes squinted up and he gripped his bow harder.

"Oh, yeah. My marks on my shoulder so it's sort of hard to see." She murmured giving him a small look before smiling a bit again. "Why, a big fan? Want an autograph?" She joked lightly, finding it slightly nice to just joke around. Luke still plagued her mind but she had to try her best to move on from that right now.

"Well, welcome to Magnolia. let's just say you picked the best city in town!...or in the country?"She laughed a little, eyeing Coil a little too much that even she felt uncomfortable at her actions. She coughed into her palm, before cracking her neck gently, and rolling her shoulders. "Nice place to put your sign too." She looked at his palms, before noticing the red bandages. "Red bandages? When I was sixteen i got my first real.job here- only place i could really find where thamey would really hire me. My Magic Council records because of my parents aren't amazing. But yeah, it was kind of the only place I could go." She shrugged, before sipping her tea. "Fairy Tail of course was something I quickly fell into after I started practicing celestial magic. Things just went from there."

He was able to achieve any skill or talent he wanted besides magic...he was able to get any toy, any animal, just with a simple request to his father. He had never felt hunger until he left his home years ago, he had never been so tired that he couldn't function... Coilin bit his lip and looked out the window.

"I am renting a little town home a few miles away, it's nice and has a wonderful garden." Coilin replied, smiling softly. "It is in a quite nice neighborhood as well, so I don't have to worry too much about any unlawful activities going down by there."

With that he finished his tea and set the cup on the coffee table, leaning back fully into the couch. "The tea was good, just to let you know."

A tall man entered the cell, his eyes glowing deep red before he crouched down to Luke’s sitting height. “Hey.” He said, ruffling Luke’s hair. “My name is Matt… I want to help you.” The man in front of him had strikingly similar features to Luke himself, almost as though they were related.

“What do you want from me, because I am not going to do any crap for anyone anymore.” He growled, frowning deeply.

“I want you to be free. We just must destroy the leader of Dragon’s Bane. Then you will be freed. I will erase all memories of the most recent event and go back in time to restore the missing lives as well.” Matt replied, red eyes shining. “I want out of this as much as you do.”

A tall man entered the cell, his eyes glowing deep red before he crouched down to Luke’s sitting height. “Hey.” He said, ruffling Luke’s hair. “My name is Matt… I want to help you.” The man in front of him had strikingly similar features to Luke himself, almost as though they were related.

“What do you want from me, because I am not going to do any crap for anyone anymore.” He growled, frowning deeply.

“I want you to be free. We just must destroy the leader of Dragon’s Bane. Then you will be freed. I will erase all memories of the most recent event and go back in time to restore the missing lives as well.” Matt replied, red eyes shining. “I want out of this as much as you do.”

Eres smiled as he talked and at the compliment, before rolling her eyes at the garden a bit. "I can't stand gardens for the life of me. There so....I don't know- hard to manage? When I tried to make a small one on my porch it died in the first few days. And they hadn't even budded yet." She laughed a bit, thinking back to the horrible time in a puff of breath. "Maybe you could show me the ropes." Her comment slipped out and made her own brow crinkle. What the hell was that Eres?

Eres smiled as he talked and at the compliment, before rolling her eyes at the garden a bit. "I can't stand gardens for the life of me. There so....I don't know- hard to manage? When I tried to make a small one on my porch it died in the first few days. And they hadn't even budded yet." She laughed a bit, thinking back to the horrible time in a puff of breath. "Maybe you could show me the ropes." Her comment slipped out and made her own brow crinkle. What the hell was that Eres?

"My mother showed me how to garden." Collin replied, chuckling slightly at the comment. "It's probably the only positive memories I have of her, so I enjoy gardening in my free time. Only thing I don't like about it is the bugs. They are absolutely disgusting." The mage shifted and looked at her as she mentioned him showing her. "Oh yes, I'd be happy to one day." He replied with a small chuckle, winking softly.

The man leaned back before looking at her. "Hm... yeah whenever its a nice day out and you are free I suppose I can teach you a thing or two. I may even give you some plants that are almost impossible to kill. Like... a cactus or something of that sort." He continued, accent thickening as he rambled on about how his garden had a wide variety of flowers and types.

“What? Who the heck even are you?” Luke hissed, looking at Matt, narrowed eyes focused on the other man. He watched as Matt unchained his chains and sighed faintly, rubbing his wrists. The man sat up and stood, glaring at the other. “You can bring back lives?”

“I said who I am. I also said what I can do. I can revive people killed within the last thirty days. Don’t doubt me. However, I will not do it unless you help me.” Matt said, pushing his silver hair back, looking away. “Keep quiet and follow me.”

Luke looked up at Matt and glared before sighing. "Fine." He whispered, following Matt as they traveled down a dark hallway, passing by several sleeping guards. Luke blinked as they snored, confused by their laziness.

"I=I know you have no idea who he is and have probably never met him but I need help. I'm not expecting you to say yes but...I think I know I can already trust you, Coil. If we can research Dragon Bane locations- find Luke, figure out what they...what they did to him, then we can sort this out." Eres hesitated at the thought of something being done to Luke. Because part of her thought maybe they hadn't done anything. But it was quickly snuffed out as she looked up again.

Coilin blinked and smiled at her, watching her chuckle faintly before she stood up. He stiffened as things got more of a serious atmosphere, it was almost as though it was something similar to war, just so serious to an amazing extent.

He grumbled, sounding unprofessional and nothing like his normal self, other than the voice and accent of course. "I suppose I could try to help you to the best of my abilities, so yes- I will try to help you. I also am assuming he is the man who was carried away by that group of people earlier today? The one you were very distraught over? If so, yes, a guaranteed yes, I will help you. I have no clue who Dragons Bane is or his connections to them, but I think that finding him would be the right thing to do."

Coilin blinked and smiled at her, watching her chuckle faintly before she stood up. He stiffened as things got more of a serious atmosphere, it was almost as though it was something similar to war, just so serious to an amazing extent.

He seems so much and I didn't think...I don't know if I am strong enough." She pulled back, still gripping his shoulders and smiling, eyes watering slightly. "Thank you."

Eres looked down after he told her to think, and her mind went a mile a minute thinking about how she was so stupid for asking something so personal and that this was a horrible idea she should have never asked and now he was uncomfortable and-. He seems so much and I didn't think...I don't know if I am strong enough." She pulled back, still gripping his shoulders and smiling, eyes watering slightly. "Thank you."


Coilin slightly flinched at the hug, before closing his eyes and hugging her back- releasing as she pulled back. "There is no need to thank me yet, Eres." He replied with a small smile and the tilt of his head. The man pat her head with his hand and his smile widened, "You can thank me once we accomplish what you'd like us to."

And with that, he stood up and stretched, cracking his knuckles before smiling back at her. "When would you like to start? Now? Later today? Tomorrow? I don't mind any of the times. I can always get replacement items on the journey- in fact I think this would be my first 'mission' I have gone on since I joined Fairy Tail."

Matt led the way out of the first sector of the building, being careful to stay quiet. "Luke, stay low- this is the most dangerous part- heck, this is all dangerous. Just stay low and you should be fine though."

Luke nodded and bit his lip, being careful to steady his breathing and to keep his footsteps light- as he was currently all drained of magic as it seemed. "How long have I been in here, if you know?" Luke whispered.

"A few hours... oh and your magic won't return until we exit the building. This is to keep magic council members out of trouble if they do manage to find this... it's hard to fight someone with no weapons- when they have a ton of swords and other things that don't require magic to use." Matt responded shortly.

Coilin slightly flinched at the hug, before closing his eyes and hugging her back- releasing as she pulled back. "There is no need to thank me yet, Eres." He replied with a small smile and the tilt of his head. The man pat her head with his hand and his smile widened, "You can thank me once we accomplish what you'd like us to."

And with that, he stood up and stretched, cracking his knuckles before smiling back at her. "When would you like to start? Now? Later today? Tomorrow? I don't mind any of the times. I can always get replacement items on the journey- in fact I think this would be my first 'mission' I have gone on since I joined Fairy Tail."

I'm going to pack, and get some information about Dragon Bane. Whether that means the Magic Council or...other means." She looked away before looking back at Coilin. "We can get a plan done when you meet me here tomorrow. Knock and I'll get the door. A deal, partner?" She held out her hand, a slight smile on her face. Yet her stomach was doing flips. Worry, fear, and the intense feeling of pressure to save Luke weighed her down so much her legs felt like jello.

"Thank you...And I hope so." Eres smiled at him, feeling a tug of the pressure gently lessened on her shoulders. "Again, you are so amazing for this Coil. Even though...even though you've never met Luke. Thank you." Her eyes lightened. "Also, bring some heavy coats. I know it's getting warmer but you should probably be careful, ya know?"


"No need to thank me." Coil responded with a light smile, looking at her. "I like helping people be happy, so there will never be an issue with helping you." The man nodded on her comment about coats, "I'll be sure to bring one or two."

The mage turned and waved a goodbye before exiting her apartment to go to his own. He would meet her up here the next morning with a bag full of things- maybe he will have them placed into the magic bag he bought a while back.
