Anyone else remember how much of a bean Ashfur was before the Erins decided to make him a psychopath for someone?

If only he stayed like that- and the Squirrelbramble ship is also kinda toxic tbh, squirrelash wouldve come out much better, and bramble wouldnt have done that(gone psycho) - I think

ashpaw wasnt a character. like sure he was a character, but what substance did he have to him before the squirrelflight stuff? we would be having this same conversation if they used thornclaw or brackenfur or shrewpaw or anyone else instead. saying that ash would have been a better mate for squirrelflight is ignoring the fact that he is equally creepy and possessive to her as bramble is!! he literally tried to burn her and her children to death

Somebody needs to wright out an AU where he stays like that, and maybe Squirrels takes him instead of Bramble. Feels like things would turn out 10x better.
