[sorry if this is long]
Jaykit felt nervousness bubble up inside them when
and apprentice came to them. That wasn't something that happened
often, usually cats ignored them just because their way of speaking
wasn't the same... Why couldn't everyone just speak with their tail or
body-language? It was so mush easier to understand and harder to lie.
For example the apprentice in front of them showed similar sighs as they'd
seen may times in the camp, he was either worried about or for someone...
or it could be just general nervousness two...
Jaykit looked at the mouse and licked their jaws, not that they were
especially hungry, it just helped with focusing their thoughts. They didn't
want to eat prey someone else might need... but then again, kits had to
be fed first and with the prey shortish lately it was best to eat it you got
the change.
They carefully bent down and took a little bite of the mouse, still
glancing at Leafpaw, almost like he was gonna attack the kit and
the prey was just a distraction. Jaykit felt a little weird eating like
this and pushed the meat a little more towards the cat who had brought
it, inviting him so share it.
Play? Jaykit thought as his mind started to wander a little. That
wasn't something they'd done in a long while, play that was, thinking was
was they did the most. Which wasn't a bad thing but it did get a lonely
sometimes... to play didn't sound so bad. They thought and took another
bite, it was best to finish the meal first.
