Silverclaw was just sitting in her nest fiddling with a piece of moss when pain struck her stomach. She gasped in pain and looked around, spotting Moonpatch first. Yes, a queen that had already kitted. "Moonpatch! What's wrong with me? My stomach hurts so much. So, much, pain!" She gasped out the words before another pain hit her.

Spidercrawl rushed into the nursery in a panic, fur fluffed in fear and anxiety. "Silverclaw! What's wrong?" He asked, looking his mate over. Did something happen? Was she sick? Or, maybe... were the kits coming?!

Moonpatchs head shot up as she spotted silverclaw your kits are here she meowed. Quickly running outside to grab a stick she darted back in. Bite this it’s going to be ok she mewed. Take deep breaths....in....out she kindly purred.

Silverclaw smiled as her mate came in but a pain shot through her stomach and she yowled. She breathed in and breathed out just like Moonpatch told her to do and she bit the stick.

Silverclaw bit the stick hard as a ripple went through her body. A kit was born! Silverclaw dropped the stick and started to lick the kit. The kit was a silver kit with brown spots, black paws, and amber eyes. The kit reminded her of herself and Spidercrawl.

Silverclaw picked up the stick, which was a bit in pieces and she it it hard as another ripple when through her body. Another kit! Silverclaw dropped the stick again and started licking the kit. The kit was a grey and white tabby with yellow eyes. The kit reminded her more of herself.

Silverclaw picked up the stick, well, what little was left of it, and she bit it hard as a ripple went through her body. A third kit! Silverclaw dropped the stick, all in pieces now, and she licked the kit. The kit was a dark gray, maybe black if the sun hit it correctly. The kit had a brown muzzle and paws and light golden yellow eyes. The kit reminded her more of Spidercrawl.

The next ripple through her body was a surprise. She yowled and a small kit came out. Silverclaw quickly licked the kit and was worried that it was a stillborn for a moment before she noticed it was breathing. The kit was brown with amber eyes. The fur was from Spidercrawl definetly and the eyes, the eyes, were from both.

Silverclaw nudged the four kits to her belly and sighed in relief as the kitting was over. She had four new kits!

The firstborn purred and squiggled furiously to her mother's warm fur. She began suckling, reading her mother's belly with tiny paws for milk.

"Thank you!" Spidercrawl quickly thanked Moonpatch before rushing to his family. He was about to cry: they had four kits! All healthy, lively, and adorable! He was aware of Silverclaw's exhaustion, but he was unaware of his own adrenaline rush until his legs gave way, causing him to sit down harshly, taking everything. "K-k-k..." he stuttered, his mind still processing what had happened. He was a father of four new kits, and Magpiepaw was now an older sister! And the best part: all of them survived. He looked over his mate and kits with awe, with all the love a father and mate could. "Thank StarClan..."
