Quoting Messages

Hey all!

I've seen people on the forums quoting multiple messages at once, so I was wondering how to do it myself. Is there a button I should press, or a link, or some other way?

Hi! Theres a button in lower righthand corner of a post that says 'quote'. Just click that and write outside of the little box thingy to quote! @mellifluentCurator

and for quoting multiple posts at once, there's a little button next to 'quote'

when you hover over it, it should say 'multi-quote this message'

click that button on each post you want to quote, and it should quote all of them once you go ahead and start writing your post!

Hmm, I clicked the buttons and it didn't seem to work. Is there an extra step I need to tale before completing the message? @hope

After you press as many as the mini ones as you want, you can click ‘go advanced’ on the quick reply thing and it should work.

Alright, I'm trying it now, but I don't know if it will work.

edit: it didn't. Does it only work on desktop or something, or am I just missing something? @soot

Hmm. Another way to do it is you click the mini quotes and then when you just need one more, push the actual quote button.

yeah, what soot said -- for the last post you need just click the quote button.

if you're trying to quote posts in a separate thread and then you go to post, there might be a little button underneath the post that says

(doesn't always say 4, might be a different number)

you can just click 'quote these posts as well' if that's the case

but yeah, if you multiquote several posts and either click 'quote' for the last one or 'post reply' it should work. is it saying anything when you try to do it or is your post just like.. blank when you try to quote? if you really want to go the long way you could open separate tabs, quote a different post in each tab, and copy the quoting coding into one post pfff
