what happened to cbox avatars?

hi! I'm stormblaze and i'm hoping to know what happened to the chat box avatars! i remember a user having a inappropriate picture as there chat box profile picture, i remember a warning banner being issued above chat that stated that if it happened again they would be gone for good for everyone! is that what's going to happen??

Yes, from what I heard another inappropriate pic/gif showed up resulting in a ban of all avatars. Whether this will be forever permanent I don't know but it is highly likely.
