Character of the Month (May 2018)

Character of the Month is designed to feature characters who deserve recognition.

Please ensure you have read this thread thoroughly, as posts that do not coincide with the provided information will be deleted.

In an attempt to prevent users from only voting selectively, the system in which OTMs are decided has changed. You may suggest a character, however the character you nominate can not be suggested by another user. For example, if you suggest "Blackstrike", no one else can nominate that character for the remainder of the month's nomination period. At the end of the month, the winner will be randomly selected.

Things to keep in mind before nominating a character:

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated.
  
  
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
  
  
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule can not win an OTM for the month they broke the guideline.
  
  
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed.
  
  
• Be thorough in your evaluation of the relationship. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded.
  
  
• You may only nominate once, however you may change your nomination at any time provided nominations are still open. Keep in mind you can not change your suggestion to a character that was nominated by someone else.
  
  
• Previous COTMs can not be nominated. Former winners are:

Character name and Roleplayer: Ebonybranch, @The Loner Forever
Character Faction: Skyclan
Reason for nomination: Ebonybranch is a very good character. He has a touch of anger, fueled by how other cats judge him based on his heritage. Personally, he may be teased often by other cats of Skyclan, but he is a strong character with a misunderstood personality. In fact, he is real kind to my cat, Amberfire, showing how he will blossom into the nice cat he really is, if given the right chance.

Character Name: Boulderdust @The Loner Forever
Faction: Thunderclan (maybe Starclan by the end of May)
Reason for COTM: Boulderdust is an elder in Thunderclan who's helped my apprentice, Redpaw grow as a cat and really influenced his life. Boulder has been the cat who all my apprentices do apprentice duties on too.

Character Faction: Riverclan
Reason for nominating this character: This character is super fun to Roleplay with, and I also find her super funny. She’s very developed, and her talkative nature really makes her a character that stands out. I don’t come across many other cats who are as talkative, and her run-on sentences really give loads of information about her, just in one post.

Reason for nominating this character: He is the typical "loyal and hardworking" cat that would do anything for his Clan, and he proves it whenever I've RP'd with him through Shadetail! I am absolutely obsessed with his relationship with my own character, as there is so much depth and reasoning as to why he is like that, and why he has a hard time trusting those outside of ShadowClan.

Reason for nominating this character: He’s just so cute and awkward - it’s really fun to roleplay our characters and help them to get out of that awkward stage of acquaintanceship. He’s just an all-around awesome char, and the way that Blue roleplays Ocean is amazing.

Reason for Nomination || I think little Mistpaw is such a darling little thing. Her RiverClan background is quite unique and adds quite a bit to her already charming personality. She's obviously been thought about a lot in terms of character and personality and she's well RPed I believe. I love this little bean.

reason for nomination; daydream is such a well-thought out character with an extremely interesting background. they have been roleplayed so much that you can tell how developed and detailed character they are. i bet that any question you ask kaleb about this character, he would know the answer to in a heartbeat. it's overall simply enjoyable to roleplay with this character and you feel them in every post.

Character Name: Rumblestorm.
Character Faction: ShadowClan.
Reason for nominating this character: Rumblestorm just seems to a very compassionate and honest tom despite what he's gone though and feels. He lost his apprentice witch was very close to him, like a daughter, and is grieving over her. I think he should be recognized because he can still comfort and support others even with the pain he feels. Yes he has his glade but every good character does. Rumblestorm and my character share the same pain and he's able to help her not by just telling her she'll be okay but by just being honest and talking to her. That's another thing I like about him, he's not afraid to be honest and help others.
