The Warmongers Dance [advanced training]

There was a common theme with lack of training, especially battle training. Perhaps it was time to spice things up, windclan needed to stop dragging itself through the mud and buck up. Especially on the training front. The tabby tom padded up to the Breezerock and hopped up a few stones glancing out over his clanmates. “Windclan! I call upon the fit warriors and apprentices to join me for a game” realistically it would toi annul get more intense than a game, especially when it came down to some of the more aggressive knuckleheads. Bushpaw especially.

”we will be doing a bit of battle training. Apprentices this will be a good opportunity to test your skills in a realistic scenario and warriors this is to polish those rusty skills of yours.” They’d been mauled ruthlessly by those coyotes, if the warriors had been perhaps better tuned in with their skills perhaps it wouldn’t have been so bad. They would be better prepared for... other things this way.

“Apprentices you will partner up with a warrior you’ve never met before, warriors I expect you to fight hard. I don’t want any softies here.” With a nod to the lose guidelines he sat down curling his tail over his paws. He’d wait for the warriors and apprentices to gather before officially starting the event.

Gullpaw padded forward, she had done most of training, but had about a moon to go.

Basilpaw padded forward, she had just passed her final, but had to wait for her ceremony.

Shockpaw bounded over to Coyotesnarl when he called for the clan for battle training.

Maybe they can catch up on that. Their past mentors had never thought to give them battle training, which was dumb.

Dimtail slowly padded up to Coyotesnarl.

Silvercinder brushed past a few of the other cats to join the crowd. She was out of practice, so this would be good for her, for all of them. Especially after the coyote invasion. She shivered at the memory.

Windpaw or Scrappaw as her mentor liked to call her, scurried out towards Gullpaw at the call of Coyotesnarl. He was scary looking and probably just as mean as Nightshade. So of course she wanted to go with Gullpaw. But, someone had beaten her to it. Someone who had been very scary during the meeting that she was apprenticed during. Hawkstride. The large, scarred brown tabby terrified her. So, she whisked past her in hopes to not get confronted with her terrified look. Thankfully though, she was no at Gullpaw's side and she would protect her from anything right?

Sitting in the clearing, he curiously watched as Coyotesnarl got on the Breezerock. Expecting some sort of gathering or what ever like the prey social. But, he was wrong and he was glad. The prey social was nice and all but, he wasn't feeling too talky at the moment.
Getting up, he made his way over to Coyotesnarl and the ever growing group.

Puddlepaw nervously joined the gathering crowd. Battle training was not a favorite of his, so he was slightly unsure of how he'd do in attempting to beat a warrior.

battle training? bATTLE TRAINING! they were doing battle training! didn't matter that it meant some random warrior was going to beat him up because robinpaw here had no idea what it was doing, because this was so exciting! this thrill was even greater than running down a hill and just barely stopping himself from tripping over his feet and accidentally ending it all. taking a few steps forward, robinpaw had an obvious bounce in his step, his excitement wayyy too visible.

well this would be fun. coyotesnarl was giving the warriors an excuse to beat up apprentices -- that was nice of him, although he was one to talk about rusty skills. her skills? rusty? that was debatable. she was hoping this apprentice she was supposedly going to fight wouldn't think she was 'rusty'. walking up, redraven smirked, curious as to who she'd be paired up with.
