Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Character Name: AlderStep [ @navarra ]
Character Faction: ThunderClan
Why should this character be featured?: Now I’m so sorry if he’s been offered up as a nominee before but from what I can see he has not won a nomination yet. Which is why I must shine a light on the excellent character development and writing that Nav gives to AlderStep! Through their roleplays, ThunderClan’s deputy is shown in many complex ways, from angst to grumpiness and on the odd occasion, humorous. It’s always extremely entertaining to read AlderStep posts and as a character he’s very engaging. You can’t help but feel you have been teleported right into the atmosphere of this world when reading posts, you can’t help but feel an emotional attachment to his character as you watch his conflicting reactions to his struggles. AlderStep, although complex, is a very detailed and well written character that deep down is a big softie for those he cares about, I’m very much looking forward to what else is in store for him.

Character Name: EveningDance [ @silverwynds ]
Character Faction: ThunderClan
Why should this character be featured?: EveningDance is one of those few characters that stand out to me, the way silver conveys his personality and background, even if they may still be working out the details, is already quite a compelling read whenever I get around to reading their posts! From the way he interacts with Clanmates to the way he talks it’s brilliantly written by silver and genuinely makes you want to know more about this fantastic character. EveningDance is a lovely character and I can’t wait to see more of him.

Why should this character be featured?: Okay. So Lilackit is fairly new, but amazing. She's so cute and funny and just a nice, shy cat. Her roleplayer is good with his showing of her and I just enjoy reading the posts by Theodore!

Why should this character be featured?: I feel that Eelkit should be featured in this because he is a great character. For an example, he is gentle and patient, but also has the energy and personally that a kit should. Such as, bouncy and energetic, but he makes sure to be careful around others and is careful with others feelings.
And don't get me started on @umbreon_22. She expresses his character perfectly, and isn't controlling or boasting with him. The way she expresses the kit in him, is as if it were an actual Erin Hunter story, and I was reading it and a part of it.
I honestly think that Eelkit is the perfect nominee for this months Kudos. Him and @umbreon_22 deserve all the Kudos, haha.
Anyways, both the character and the role-player are great people and deserve to be noticed for it!

Why should this character be featured?: I feel that Sparkkit should be featured because he is a compassionate, kind character, and he deserve to be recognized. He is also patient with my character who is younger and less experienced.
His role-player, @Sleek, is also a great person. He is very good at explaining everything clearly, and when I messed up he gently corrected me, and allowed me to correct myself.

I believe that both of these characters deserve to be noticed, and appreciated.

Why should this character be featured?: Oh, where do I even start? Drizzlecloud is such an amazing cat... she is the best medicine cat for ThunderClan along with her apprentice, Springpaw( @/ares ). She is kind and adventurous, wanting nighing more than what's best for her Clan. She may have her own preferences on Bumblestar's choices, but she supports her anyway. An amazing friend you wouldn't want to miss.

Why should this character be featured?: Snowy is just....insane. He's the sweetest lil guy, even though he's massive, and every post of his makes me smile. Even when he can't remember who cats are, he's still so kind, and he assumes the best of everybody, but it's in a realistic way, you know? Like he's so nice without being a Mary Sue or whatever since it's because he's kinda insecure? Which always makes me want to give him a hug, because NO, you are PERFECT and anyone who says otherwise is WRONG. Alchemist's posts are always consistent and in character and are some of my favorites to respond to because I am always very inspired! Even if it's only six words of dialogue! It's crazy!

Why should this character be featured? Plumkit drives me mad from affection. He is mischievous and innocent, and he’s just got soooo much energy! Whenever I role play with him, he makes me laugh from his cute little way of talking. “Hewwo? New Fwend?. His posts are so powerful, and every time I think Plummer can’t get any better, HE DOES! I just absolutely adore the cute little puffball. He is written so well! He loves playing games, and his posts are written even better than Erin Hunter’s! And his roleplayer is just as great! @Tecumori is so nice and patient. As a newcomer, I didn’t fully understand the rules. Tecumori kindly explained the rules with infinite patience. I just KNOW I wouldn’t be able to do the same. Tecumori gave me a second chance when I screwed up. Also they are funny and always have great responses. They are my favorite person to role play with, and the person who I can’t wait to see their response the most. Plumkit deserves to win!

Why should this character be featured? Ashkit is amazing. Though I haven’t had the time to do many posts with her, she has still captured me with her adorableness. Her posts are written like an expert, and I always can’t wait for her replies. @Cinnamon~ is great too. They were patient and kind with me when I messed up. I hope to have more posts with her. Go Ashkit!

Why should this character be featured?: Sprucekit, in my eyes, is a unique character with a great roleplayer. Reading his posts are always great, and his antagonizing character that looks for trouble is something I've only seen once elsewhere. If I ever end up in a roleplay with him, the battle will be legendary, or the will become friends. that's just how fun he is.

Why should this character be featured?: Spottedfire is amazing! Willooow puts his soul into this innocent guy. Not only this cat's design is very well thought out, but also the character itself. The way Willooow writes his posts is just... charming.
