''You can't go so fast because you need to be careful,'' She explained to Silverpaw.

''You may fall, or there could be other threats here in the trees that you could disturb.''

Larkswoop gave Silverpaw's ear a friendly lick.

''Yes, I know that acting like squirrels is fun, Silverpaw, but you need to see the dangers in it, too.''

Well she was suprised, and she didn't bother to hide it. Not many cats could get the answer right in such detail so she certainly was impressed with Wolfpaw "Yeah! That's exactly right! Good job Wolfy!" even Wolfpaw couldn't escape her habit of nickname, everyone would get given one once in their life by Nightgaze if they interacted even once.

And now the part she'd been dreading, she'd tried to stall long enough and now it was time for Wolfpaw to have a go "So, ya ready?" preparing herself to get ready to charge she felt a tiny prick of fear, what if she injured her leg further jn the process? What if she never walked again?! Starclan help me... there was only one way to find out.

(Nightgaze acting like she's doing the most dangerous thing in her life lol)

Wolfpaw was amazed it was spot on - his thought process was patchworked together, a combination of a guesswork and what he could garner from the move she pulled. "Thanks!" Visuals weren't everything, it seemed - and in that moment the he was quiet aware of the phantom pain in his tail, where it'd been bitten and yanked.

But the pain was just a memory, and easily forgotten. (he was aware of the nickname but didn't mind it, he'd have to come up with a neat one for her-- Nighty? Nighters? hmm, it didn't feel quite right..) Wolfpaw focused on the now - eyeing up Nightgaze as she prepared for the charge. His heart was starting to pick up in pace, anticipation growing. "Ready when you are!"

Another day another hunting trip! ......That was ruined by intruders.... UUuuuuuuugh!

What was once happy skips and smiles turned to a grumpy frown as the tripod overheard unfamiliar voices on the wind and the scent of rogues drifted to their nose. Did no one know what a border was! Thunderclans borders were well marked! Strong and clear that trespassers would be fought off and that this land belonged to someone! So why were cats crossing across bold like they werent going to be escorted out promptly at kindest!

This whole thing was making Mudhound grumpy and the large maine coon mix even snarled as they stormed up to the group ready to beat them up if they didnt leave immediately.

"HEY! You lot!"
Seeing a very large, snarling, heavily scarred wild warrior storming up was bound to be intimidating especially with Mudhound bared claws and lashing tail. But they did not stop and soon enough was looming over the trio, blocking their path and hissing.
"This is thunderclan land! You are intruding you intruders! Leave now! You are not supposed to be here and if you dont go now you will be forced to go! With claws and teeth! So move it immediately!"

These cats would be backing off now and leaving thunderclan land or they'd be attacked, they shouldve tried to meet a cat at the border and begged for permission for whatever they wanted but didnt. So this was on them with no exceptions Mudhound would accept.

Wolfpaw was Mudhound's shadow, following their every step eagerly. This was the first hunting patrol he'd been on in a minute, and he was excited to get started - to hone the skill Redhawk had imparted upon him.

But things quickly derailed, as he'd soon learn. The unfamiliar scent of a trespasser caught Mudhound's keen nose before it hit Wolfpaw, and he watched in near-awe as Mudhound embraced their inner guard dog. The happy-go-lucky cat changed, morphing from an excited puppy to bordering on a murderous mongrel. The closest thing he'd witness to a cat ready to rage out was when Bumba got upset, and she had been more composed - keeping it together in front of the Clan.

Wolfpaw was only about shoulder-height to Mudhound; the Maine Coon mix towered over most cats and Wolfpaw was no exception. To make himself more intimidating (and to try to mimic the angry pupper), Wolfpaw puffed out his pelt and joined their side to bare his teeth at the passing trio. "Yeah, get outta here!" He was being supportive! So scary!

Berrie flinched at the sound of warriors speaking, while Zephyr sighed and Skratch practically ran for it. Michael, standing right at the front, spoke up.
"Excuse me! We were looking for a cat called Charredpaw, by chance would you be able to direct us to him?" Michael asked politely.

[Shade.]

Roseraven was cat- deep in a puddle of mud. Bad luck strikes again! She shuffled out of it carefully, growling under her breath.

AAAAA! SUDDEN CHILD!


Mudhound forced themself not to jolt or jump firmly as Wolfpaw just suddenly appeared from nowhere and joined the tripod in aggression. Where had he come from?! Was he out on a training trip and overheard, if so where in the world was the warrior?! Child neglect! Bad warrior! And if there was none than he'd snuck out and frankly all were bad options. Because here was Muddys own Bumble-sis' kiddo facing down a trio of rogues with them, highly dangerous! Mudhound didnt even know if he'd had any battle training before!

Forcing themself not to react the maine coon mix shifted to stand a little bit in front of Wolfpaw protectively, almost sheltering him against their side as they snarled again in an unspoken warning. 'Dont even think of touching the kiddo if you want to live.'


Things were a little more manageable as the group showed no aggression however they didnt leave just yet. UUuuuuuugh. Whatever, they'd get their answer and go. "No cat by that name here. And if you wanted to see them and they were you should've waited at the border and flagged down a patrol, a group like yours looks like an invading patrol. Im being very nice by not attacking immediately dont test that. So turn around, now, leave and then ask another clan!"

The warrior bit back the mean suggestion of 'try shadowclan' knowing that clan wouldnt even try talking like Mudhound was doing and would just kill them immediately.


If the group had more questions they could ask as they were being escorted to the border but if they didnt start moving that way now the tripod was gonna start biting them like a herding dog to get them going.

She-Cat || Warrior || Loves hunting

Eclipsecloud goes over to a huge tree. She looks up for the nearest branch which was quite some ways up. She unsheathes her claws and jumps onto the base of the trunk. She looks down a bit nervous then begins to climb up to the nearest branch. Once she was there, she climbed up and sat on the branch. She looks around, hearing the birds chirp and the leaves blowing in the slight warm wind. It was peaceful up here. She loved climbing trees to find a relaxing place to chill.
