Have you heard of the tales?
The tales of a forest abandoned by god, feared by the devil and tempted the strongest of men to their doom?
The forest that this village refuses to speak about, the village of winterhelm denies its calls, they lie to their children and punish those that dare to speak it’s name and it’s story.
Yet I know it’s forgotten name, I know it’s tales and I know it,
The forest is named Nihil in silva, a beautiful name for something so dark and dangerous, the forest has many tricks, many acts it likes to play to tempt many to it’s deathly call.
That’s why the village tells us this

“ Never give in,
Never speak to the forest,
Never say it’s name.
Never step past the line and touch its fog
What it says and does are lies
They are not there. Your loved one is dead.
She or he is not real, they are just your imagination.”


The village people never really tell us why? They don’t tell us exactly what the forest wants, all we know is that those unfortunate enough to not heed the warnings or children more adventurous than the other unfortunately end up dead the next day. Tied up to a tree torn apart with some word cut onto their body telling all what they did or what they wanted that resulted them heading into the forest. We call these sudden grown trees with a body of child women or man the trees of dead, showing all what will happen if you disobey the village law or foolish enough to head into the misty forest so easily.
However I have seen it, I seen what it is and what I believe it seeks. The forest true face is so beautiful so... dazzling that’s why I have gathered y’all.
To help me seek the forest, to help me survive in a forest that no one dared to enter before.
Help me help you
Let the gods help us, but than again, the gods looked away from me as soon as the forest laid eyes on my broken soul... and honestly I feel more alive without eyes on me.

Leader: 1 open
Fighter: 2 open
Healer: 1 open
Scout or hunter: 2 open

Fourm
Please put the weapons and supplies you will use on your fourm which can be anything really. Weapons must be swords or anything from the time of kingdoms and knights so no guns and all.

Rules
No one liners and at least one paragraph at best
Romance won’t be everything here, it’s kill or be killed in the forest don’t disappoint me.
I will be the events that will come across your ocs, so if you want your oc to be injured or killed pm me so the others won’t know.
Warming!: only a total of 2 ocs will live this or not so be ready for that.
Work together, your main goal is to find the forest core while surviving it’s tricks and beasts.

If any questions ask me, This isn’t a first serve and first gain.
I will be picky very picky with this so do give your fourm everything you got!

I kinda had this idea for this that isn’t exactly what you outlined but I thought I would ask if I could. I kinda thought of a battlehound, which had been a part of history for warriors from generations down. Perhaps I could create a character like that accompany the group?
