oldwind nodded,guessing Shinefang had done okay with the healing then. He didn't get a peice of fresh kill though,having eaten a mouse not long ago.After a few moments of awkward silent,he tried to start small talk,even though it was out of date.Coldwind hadn't been kept up-to-date on any of his kits training,and by now,it was probably halfway over.Better find out late than never he guessed."So how is your apprintice training going?Have you learned anything useful?" he asked.

Her brown eyes widened and shined her wide smile returning her tail now swishing excitedly she nodded quickly and jumped up and down twice " I'm up for it im up for it! C'mon old fur ball tell me tell me ! " she meowed excitedly she said the word fur ball playfully as to not wanting to hurt her dads feelings .She landed back on her feet and sat down her whiskers twitching a few times as she stared at her dad .

With a gentle flick of her tail she stood up “warriors den, not always the safest place to tell secrets but why not” she said jokingly her tail swishing through the air. Than she “maybe we should walk first- the warriors den isn’t always too secretive” she purred ignoring how he was looking at her

Embershade couldn't help but laugh. He couldn't remember if he was ever this energetic,"Well.. If you say so..." He paused for effect,"One day, I was walking through the forest, on hunting patrol. I had just gotten the scent of rabbit, when I smelt something else on the trail. I ignored it and kept going, thinking it must be another piece of prey," he glanced at Cardinalkit's huge brown eyes and grinned,"when I was just about to catch the rabbit when it hard away and I smelt the scent again. But this time stronger. Can you guess what it was?" He leaned closer and whispered the last question.

Her eyes widened even more then last time it could very well be a rogue he had caught the scent of she's heard of rogues and loners . But she has caught word of huge monsters from other warriors and possibly apprentices she gulped and took a guess " a Rogue??? Maybe a monster ??? I've overheard some warriors say something about monsters ... " she meowed her voice had a bit of fear in it but curious none the less she leaned forward and her ears pointed towards her dad

He purrs back “ Sure! Walk it is.. would you mind if I lead? I know a good spot and ... this is really important so..” he smiles softly and steps forward licking her nose playfully “ but if you wish I could just confess now?” He Says with a soft warm smile and a happy smooth purr. His tail moved a bit gracefully as he leans forward a bit now their noses were almost close to touching “ may I?” He asks softly

It lumbered toward me and swung its massive head to bite me, but I was too fast for it. I dodged its attacks easily. I then jumped on its back, trying to bite the muscles in its neck to weaken it, but then it flung me into a tree trunk. I bumped my head and for a second couldn't get up," he checked to make sure that Cardinalkit was ok.

Cardinalkit squeaked as she fell backwards when he said it was a badger maybe she shouldn't have leaned in so close the kit was on her back and rolled over on to her paws turned back around looking at her dad all the while listening her whiskers twitching " a badger?! We're you alright after that? Did you teach it a lesson ? " she meowed her tail swishing in excitement.
