Music helps me a lot personally, I suppose you could try that.

If i’m world building, I usually start off by thinking about the inhabitants, like what sentient creatures are there, then go off by what they would look like and ect
Sometimes I think of an animal and put a twist on them, like a hedgehog with poisonous quills
Honestly, just let your imagination go wild, but make sure to have reasons for why things exist @Courage
