Brokenpaw limped into camp. He had attempted to hunt, and had actually managed to catch a sparrow, but he wasn’t used to hunting with a bad limp yet, and he was pretty annoyed with himself for not being able to catch more. He deposited his prey in the freshkill pile and looked up to see his sister in the clearing. Brokenpaw flicked his tail and limped over to her. “Hey, Frostpaw. Went to go hunt. Can barely catch anything with this useless limp though.” He grumbled.

Brokenpaw scoffed. “Yeah, but not enough. That’s why I switched to medicine cat training, right? Cause I’m no good with this limp.” He said gruffly. He perked up when he heard the new though and he managed a small smile. “Congratulations. Guess that makes one of us.” He replied, his tone a bit softer.

Frostfern nuzzles brokenpaw "you dont need to be better than you already are, just be yourself" she said as she purred a bit "cant believe that im the mentor and your the apprentice. I thought it wouldve been the other way around... actually" she said

Brokenpaw scoffed. “Yeah, right.” He said, though his voice lacked conviction. He would never admit that he thought Frostfern could possibly be right. Brokenpaw chuckled dryly. “Yeah, well, I never thought I’d be a medicine cat, I thought I’d be a warrior. You’ve obviously got more experience than me.” He said, flicking his tail and slightly nuzzling his sister in return. “Can’t have a medicine cat that doesn’t know the first thing about healing.” @Ravenss

"Well atleast you got alot of training be being a warrior to defend yourself from threats" she said turning away for a second to think what herb she should teach brokenpaw "hm, alright I got just the herb for you to know. How about poppyseeds.." She said

Brokenpaw sighed, but he did as his sister said. “Oh. I think I know what those are for. You gave them to me when . . . When I . . .” He trailed off as memories of the injury that disabled him ran through his head. He shook it off. “They’re for pain, right?” He said flatly.

Frostfern nods slightly "technically, but their also used for helping a cat sleep and easing the pain" she said "your doing well already" she mewed as she stopped to think. "hey brokenpaw.. what did you want to be named for your warrior name..." she said turning away slightly
