Nick and Percival's Suspicious Stews

Aha! So you've finally made it to my lair.. took you long enough. Listen, for the only time of your life, I need your help! Under regular circumstances, I would've had the staff team do my bidding, but they've decided to block me all on platforms as I am a 'bad example of a cat & friend', whatever that means. So therefore, I call on you.

Tis the season of stews, and since I amaze the world with my cooking I decided to bless all of WCO with my patented stew recipe! The issue is that the recipe isn't actually mine, its that of a friend of mine. He goes by the name of Nick the NPC™. Why? I have no idea, he is very real (I think). That however is beside the point, the point is that I was got into an argument with him about insulting his cooking, and he tore up the recipe he gave me! In the heat of the moment, it blew away in the admittedly gentle breeze, I however was too caught up in the argument to pick up the torn up pages. Once I looked back to them however, they were gone! Now Nick won't speak to me, and I'm without my recipe! Be a dear and find them for me? Please? I promise to let you take a taste of my delicious stew if you do!

Welcome to the OOC portion sign ups of the Nick and Percival Suspicious Stews event! This portion of the event will entail searching for lost pages of Percival's stew recipe, as well as finding clues written in text around site.

Along with this, Percival requires you to find ingredients for this stew! Berries, Mushrooms, and Bugs galore! All in all, there are 22 items you need to collect and send Percival's way to complete this portion of the event:

6 torn up pages [EXAMPLE: THIS DOES NOT COUNT AS AN ITEM.]
4 clues to preparation
4 of each ingredient [EXAMPLES: THESE DO NOT COUNT AS ITEMS.]

It may sounds like a lot, but us staff believe that you can do it! After all, it’s not like staff will do it, as Percival is banned from speaking to us until further notice. :3

Once you've found all the required items, go ahead and send a PM with screenshots/quoted text for each to @Percival.

Well, look who the cat dragged in! You now have officially been graced by and called to the presence of Nick the NPC! I imagine you've heard of my famous stew, and that's what brought you to my wonderful clearing and pumpkin hut! If so, I have some unfortunate news. While I do have my handy dandy recipe right here in my paws, recently my ingredient stores were raided by some damned coons! I was beginning to think I'd have to cancel the stew making this year because my no good friend ditched me.. [they think I can't cook correctly??? they can't even remember to put bugs before berries!]... but wait, you're here! You can help me! Let me assign you a quest of epic proportions!

I need bugs, mushrooms, and berries for my stew recipe, and I only get them from SPECIFIC locations! Locations where the ingredients are the purest and most tasty. Be wary, because I'll know if you get them from elsewhere! Once you collect them, bring them back to me and I'll whip you up a stew for the ages! Disappoint me with your ingredients or lack thereof, and I'll put aside our differences and have Percival curse you for moons to come! But enough of that, here, let me tell you of the locations I get my wonderfully handpicked ingredients.

Welcome to the IC portion of the Nick and Percival Suspicious Stews event! In this section, Nick needs your help to get ingredients for his tasty stew! You'll be able to post in 5 different threads to look for ingredients, and WCO's staff will quote you with a dice roll. [These rolls will use a d20 die]. Each day, the ingredients found in each thread will change. For example, on day one, the event 1 thread may have mushrooms and berries available, while another thread will have no ingredients to be seen! It's up to YOU to find which threads have what ingredient on what day. You are able to post in 3 of the 5 threads to look for ingredients, so you'd better hope luck is on your side! The required amount of each ingredient will be released on day 1 of the event.

[NOTE: NONE OF THIS EVENT WILL BE 'CANON'. YOUR CHARACTER WILL NOT REMEMBER NICK OR THIS EVENT AFTER FINDING INGREDIENTS. ALL THREADS FOR THIS EVENT WILL BE NUKED AFTER THE EVENT HAS CONCLUDED [Aside from one! This one will be recycled and used after the event has concluded. If it's found that you have posted your character knowing about this event outside of it, the post will be deleted.]]
