“I don’t need it.” the tom replied couthly as the padded alongside each other. “They are tiny scratches. Besides trying to salvage what’s left of my face is a lost cause” he murmured trekking through the pine forest a bit on edge. Perhaps he should’ve taken more warriors with him, but then again any shadowclan stragglers he did come into contact with would get all his pent up aggression launched at them no questions asked.

That’s however when he stopped in his tracks, tail flicking to block Wolffang from moving any further. A noise. His claws hooked into the dirt and finally a voice called from the distance. Great. “We can smell you.” he announced tail lashing behind him as he nodded to prod wolf to flank the newcomer.

Wolffang gave a nod. It wasn't like his face could get even worse, anyway, although he knew that the tom had most likely earned it some honorable way and not been born with it like that pitiful Twistedface. Seeing the flicking tail made him stop, but his nose twitched all the same as he caught a whiff of an enemy cat.
His sharp claws slid out and he hissed, "Yes, we can smell you. Come out." His gray fur began to bristle and his yellow eyes narrowed to slits. And we don't like intruders.

“Okay, then. I’ll come out,” Riverwood approached the two cats with her head low at first but when she stopped up close to the two she raised her head and raised her ears high and proud.
“I apologize for not approaching you sooner. I hope you can forgive me,” she said with an odd formality.

Wolffang glared at the cat and took a step forward. "Forgive you for what, badger-breath?" he asked, his voice sounding like a low growl.

“Well for hiding, of course. I must seem like an enemy or an outlaw, doing that,” Riverwood said, still formal and none offended by the name.
“I hear your clan is in trouble at the moment.”

The deputy snorted suddenly amused. “Shadowclan is in trouble. We are the trouble” Clearly they wouldn’t have smelled of shadowclan, he wondered how dim the cat was. “This is windclan territory now. I’m Coyotesnarl this is wolffang. Now that we have met I’ll kindly ask you to leave before I let him drive you out with force”

“My mistake. I haven’t been at any of the clans for quite some time, so I must have gotten the scents mixed up. That doesn’t change perception on you or and other cat. I can leave, however, if you so wish me to,” Riverwood said, flicking her tail comfortably, sensing the unkind remark and not being altered by it. @wren @TheNyanCatMinecart

Wolffang glared at this... cat. He could only assume that it was an exile, or even worse, somebody who had tried to leave at their own will. Those were the weakest. Baring his teeth, he hissed, "Listen to our deputy and me, and leave. You may not want to cause harm, but if you linger any longer, we may as well cause harm to you."

“Very well, then,” Riverwood said politely.
She nodded slightly to the two cats and padded off, out of ShadowClan territory in the direction of Seastones so as to hide her current clan. @TheNyanCatMinecart @wren

Wolffang snorted. "Yes. Leave," he growled, then glanced at Coyotesnarl. "We should mark the borders since that piece of hare dung is gone."
